I would give 0 ratings if possible. This practice had 5 star ratings on another site and I have no idea how. I scheduled an appointment for my husband. At the time of scheduling they did not tell me he would be seeing a PA and not a Dr. Then the PA paid no attention to my husbands main issue, (a foot pain that makes it difficult to walk) and took 2 x-​rays. He never showed the x-​rays to my husband, discussed them or went over them with him. My husband came home disgusted and in pain. They billed our insurance $ 405 for a visit with someone other then the Dr. and for x-​rays that were never seen or discussed with my husband. I called the practice to let them know how unhappy we were. Save your breath. Make sure you have $ 10 handy too, because that is what it will cost you to get a copy of the x-​rays you already paid once for so you can take them to an actual practice that will take care of you.

Well there is a lot to say here so bare with me. I have had scoliosis (or so I’ve been told) my entire life. I went in and saw Dr. Kirchmeir Sr. and was told I have degenerative disc disease as well as scheuermann’s kyphosis with something like an 80 degree curve. Pretty severe from what he explained BUT I was given the typical dosage of muscle relaxers and anti-​inflammatories because I am constantly pulling my back out and dealing with muscle spasms. He told me to go to PT and pretty much seem disinterested from ever seeing me again frankly. I was shocked but much to my dismay, I went across the hall and signed up for PT with good olé’ Carl. Carl is a smart man. He KNOWS what he is doing and I have enormous respect for him actually. However, the last time I went… I ran out in tears because the man has absolutely no compassion, bed side manner, etc. He is just plain cold. I told him one of his exercises was really killing my back. He got an enormous attitude with me and with the door open proceeded to tell me «Well how about you just never come again?». You know what. I walked out of that door swearing I would never ever put myself out there and try to do something again. He was right. Here I sit today with a huge need for PT knowing he was the smartest therapist I’d seen in a while but was just rude and nasty. I didn’t deserve to be in tears over his attitude. Patients pay a lot of money for PT and we deserve to treated with dignity and compassion. It’s just not worth it.
Dr. Sunshine treated my Dad for a car accident injury. He is absolutely wonderful and if you have to pick, see him. He’s a Physician’s Assistant but trust me. He is the ONLY reason I even consider returning!

The front office was not friendly. When we asked how much longer before we saw the doctor, she changed the time of our appointment, like we had made the mistake. Then while waiting, I over heard her tell another patient the same thing, that he had gotten the time wrong. He too was very upset. Don’t try to make the patient look dumb because you can’t keep your appoints straight! Also, they force you to watch info commercials on the large screen tv with the volume very high. When others asked to change the channel or mute the the TV, they refused. That alone is enough to irrate you before seeing the doctors. Will not be going back. Also we had made the appointment to meet a doctor and was given a PA instead. Very wasted trip with no help of relief.
