Tip for anyone that’s thinking of doing the Pizza Bowl. Don’t! But if you do… If you have a group of 5 or more… go up in small groups(2 or 3). Otherwise they will only give you one lane per 5 people to maximize their profit(there were many unused lanes at the time that also remained open the whole time… up to and beyond 7pm). 5 per lane for casual bowlers gets you 1 game + some frames each. Also if there’s a line of people you may not get a lane until after 5. In this case… too bad, so sad for you. Yes, it’s in the fine print of the Pizza Bowl rules that the time frame is set in stone…5 to 7… no exceptions. We got our lanes at 5:20(they told us we had to wait for other bowlers to finish before we could get lanes… once again there were many lanes open at that time???)…and they were turned off exactly at 7. Hours set in stone…5 to 7… no exceptions… even if it’s no fault of the customer. So no rush for the employees to get you on the lanes. After the lanes were cut off promptly at 7pm they remained unused until we left at 7:45. So the lanes weren’t exactly needed. Rules is rules but this rule was clearly written to favor the business and shortchange the customer. The pizza… for bowling alley pizza… was not so bad. Overall the Pizza Bowl is not worth it.

Liberty laughs, bowling center and the upstairs bar. Ive been here a few times now and What a great place to spend a nice night out. Comedy was great! They offer military rate which was 5 dollars per ticket and if wanted to bowl it was only 5 dollars per person to continue the night off with bowling. Regular comedy price is ten per person not to sure of prices of bowling. Fri and Sat is busy but not over powering with people diffidently a younger crowd but easily looked passed. Great place to enjoy a night! And food was awesome from the bar/lounge upstairs and a wonderful outgoing bartender. Worth the money!!!

Back when I was in school I used to work in a bowling alley. Oh it had its ups and downs, but I did learn cool terms like«dead wood» and really enjoyed messing with drunk bowlers by replacing their house ball with one without holes when it was about to shoot back in the ball return. FUN. Anyway, I just tried Liberty Center the other day. When was it that bowling alleys became bowling centers? Not too sure myself but bowling alleys should have paneling and smell of feet and stale beer. or even have a vintage feel(Ever been to Strike Bethesda. amazing). If you are calling yourself a Bowling Center than possibly take care of your business. It’s dirty in there, things aren’t organized, and did I mention dirty? Our lane kept breaking down also. With only 2 locations I would think that it would be easier to concentrate on your business by taking care of these things. I know leagues are your bread and butter but try cleaning up the place somewhat. Me ~
