Fun times. Gotta love beer and bowling every once in awhile. Went with a bunch of friends and it was a blast

The bowling experience was great, the nachos not so much literally a giant bed of nachos with some chicken on top… but the beers make up for it. Anyways, servers are good too, so its definitely a good spot.

We had a great time last night on our first visit here! It’s a good thing there are so many restaurants and shops in the area because the wait was a little over one hour, so we grabbed dinner while we waited and the timing worked out perfectly. I was a little bummed that they have a 2-game limit and only 2 pool tables. It was just the two of us so those games flew by quickly and there was over an hour wait to get on a pool table… It would’ve been midnight by the time we got to play :(so we left. We didn’t eat but we did get free soft drinks, which was nice. One thing that made this bowling experience different was the petite lanes. The lanes are shorter than the typical bowling alley lanes, which actually makes it harder because the ball can’t gain momentum as it rolls. The way you roll it is the way it’s going to be! The downside is that they’re so close together so if you have a large group, you’ll be all over each other and the folks next to you! The customer service was excellent and well coordinated despite the fact that the entire staff look like high school students. Great pricing and clean bathrooms. Kudos to management! From my first experience, the only thing I would change is the overall size of the facility. If they had 2 more full sections of bowling lanes and at least 6 pool tables, it be great! It’s almost like they don’t want you to stay and play.

Splitsville is a fun bowling alley with a great atmosphere. It’s best to have a reservation because the lines can be extremely long. We had to wait 2 ½ hours for a lane to open up when went for our daughters birthday. The prices are pretty high for bowling and shoe rental for a family. The food is amazing we loved the sushi and the drinks.

For my birthday, I decided to have a bowling party at Splitsville! I have been to the Splitsville location in Orlando, which was pretty epic. I booked two lanes for my birthday guests and myself about 1 month in advance of my birthday. When I emailed guest services, they reached back out within one business day and confirmed my party date and time, and sent the contract right over. If you book a lane, they do not request payment upfront they just ask that you provide them with a credit card number. I am so glad I made a reservation because this place was crowded on my birthday(but it could have also been because my birthday is a holiday). I checked in with the front desk and the young ladies informed me of my lanes. We set up and got ready to bowl! The food is amazing at this location as well!!! I ordered some sushi, french fries, and fried pickles. My mixed adult drinks did not taste as good here as they did in Orlando and they also do not have daiquiri machines like the one in Orlando. My family and I had a blast. Our server was able to keep up with all of our menu orders and requests– and there were a lot! We did have issues with one of our lanes freezing up multiple times and I had to get the manager involved. She apologized for the inconvenience and worked to make it right with us. This location isn’t better than the Orlando location but I did enjoy my birthday celebration here and I would surely come back.

Decided to take the kids bowling this afternoon at Splitsville. It was our 1st trip there. We had over an hour wait for bowling, so we ate in the eating area. The food was okay. We were given lane #9. This lane is horrible especially for families bowling with children. It’s located around the corner from the lane alongside the wall which makes it impossible to see others in your party bowl. You feel separated from the bowler which ruins the whole experience. I spoke to the manager and requested to move to a better lane. There were 3 empty lanes near us. He told us that we couldn’t move because they had a waiting list. I told him that we were there before the other people on the list so why should my family be inconvenienced when we’re paying the same amount of money as the other parties. He apologized and said that a lot of people complain about that lane, and he offered to give us free tickets for our next trip. I will not be using those tickets because I will never again waste my money and time at Splitsville.

We had a bad experience — we stopped in on Saturday afternoon around 1 pm because we had half an hour to kill before our movie started. The restaurant was not crowded. Sat at the bar, and on a whim, I ordered an ice cream sundae. My friend ordered a beer. I asked for the check and paid the bill so we could get to our movie. Twenty minutes later, still waiting for the sundae. My friend had stood up and asked one of the waitresses where my sundae was. He saw her walking past and hailed her. She said, «Do you know how busy we are? And I don’t like the way you’re speaking to me. .. .» What??? We decided to leave — on the way out, I asked the girls at the check-in desk to see the manager. Of course, he never came. So I didn’t get the sundae I paid for, and the waitress was rude to my friend.

The service just keeps getting worse at the Chatterbox upstairs. Nearly empty right now and the one bartender and two servers can’t keep up.

Bowling lanes are nice and intimate but small. The food was terrible. We had the voodoo shrimp which was the best meal until my husband had to run to the restroom as we left. Pizza, terrible. Fried chicken salad, low quality veggies. French fries-meh. Doubt we will come back again. Glad we took advantage of their Tuesday special $ 2 per game and per show rental. We did appreciate the movies being in the same building though but suggest to eat elsewhere.

This was my first time here so I did not know what to expect. Came here on a Saturday night around 9:30 with a small group of people. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. When one of the girls brought us to our lane, it was nice, but not what I had expected. The lanes felt shorter than at a normal bowling alley and our area was too close to the other party. It felt too cramped and it did not help that the ones around us did not understand the concept of personal space. We did not order any food so I cannot comment on that aspect. I did order a few drinks; rum & coke and two hurricane bowls. I question the amount of alcohol that was actually used, but they were still pretty tasty. Overall, I might try this place again and I’m not sure if I would go out of my way to recommend it.

Went here on a Friday evening. Not at all crowded. Quick & easy check in. Great bar service and they service 18 oz beers in huge glass goblets. They have a pink pin, if it comes up at the #1 location and you bowl a strike you get a free game. Right next to the theater and close to many good restaurants.

A group of us came to bowl on $ 2 Tuesdays and they wouldn’t let us bowl without a parent or guardian. We understand the liability issue aspect of this rule, but the manager we spoke to about this was extremely rude and discourteous. I used to come here all the time with my family but no longer will I spend my money here. If there was a 0 star option, that would be my rating but 1 was the lowest I can go…

Came here once just to chill by the bar… splitsville is connected to the movie theater… Since the movie didn’t start yet why not go grab a drink and bowl a few games… While I was there the bowling Ali was pretty crowded so I didn’t get a chance to bowl… Plus I wasn’t feeling it since the lanes where so close together… It was the smallest bowling area I have ever seen. the bathrooms were kinda dirty… Floors were sticky… The prices for fun here was outrages… The only reason it’s outrages is because the area is not even that fun… Limited things to do… The foods and drinks were mediocre… the staff wasn’t friendly at all pretty rude and was having major attitude problems… Get really packed on the weekends and Friday nights as well… Theres also outdoor seatings… Huge parking lot…

We’ve all been to bowling alleys with the questionable bowling shoes that smell like old broccoli, the lanes that look a little chipped, and the dreaded«bowling alley menu» of fries, hot dogs, frozen burgers and stale popcorn. Splitsville puts all those alleys in their place with their upscale take on what a bowling experience should be. I loved the large bowling pin on their establishment outside and once inside kept going«Whoa! Wow!» and pointing at things like a kid in a candy story. The shoes looked brand new(and fashionable) and so comfortable that I almost forgot I had them on when we were leaving lol, no lie. The food menu made me feel like we were at a restaurant with offerings like a volcano sushi roll, three pepper calamari, steak fajita bowls, and signature cocktails from the fancy bar. Music was current and the lanes were clean. Our waiter(yes they have waiters!) was easy going and really friendly. He kept up with all our crazy orders and checked on us to make sure we were happy throughout the afternoon. It’s a good thing that this place is a 45 minute drive from me or else I’d be here every weekend! Splitsville just killed the bowling game. This is bowling the way it should be!

The hubs and I came here for a Saturday afternoon lunchtime bowling date :) *Pros* –Very friendly staff! –Wasn’t crowded at all. Had plenty of space to move about. –Reasonable rates for bowling. Costs us right around $ 30 bucks for two games including shoe rentals. –Food was tasty enough. *Cons* –The lightest ball is 9lbs! Even the little kids, and I mean 4yr olds had to bowl with 9lbs. What kind of sense does that make? –To top it off, the balls weren’t in that good of a shape –I used to laugh at my husband when he complained about the lanes not being waxed properly at another alley we were at. Nope, I get it now. The balls weren’t rolling right no matter how you rolled them. These lanes were not waxed at all! –Service? We wanted to order food, and it took way too long to find someone. I had to resort to wondering around. Once our server acknowledged us, and we ordered cheese fries and Dr. Peppers, it took another 15 min to get those drinks, and then another 15 min for the cheese fries. We were through bowling by the time our cheese fries– emphasis on we literally ordered fries with cheese, bacon, and chives. Party foul. To top it off, she disappeared without leaving us napkins, and our drinks were empty by the time the fries came out. No server, no refills my friends! –It was slightly jarring with how dark it was in some areas of the alley, and all the windows with bright sun pouring in. *Verdict* –Nothing special, other than poor service and unwaxed lanes!

Go on a Tuesday. Its their discount day and its only $ 2 per game and $ 2 for shoes. We take our 3 ½ yr old and 1 ½ yr old. Our preschooler loves to use the bowling ramp and our toddler just walks around(we me, of course) and checks everything out. Plus, its not busy on Tuesday if you can go earlier before or right at dinnertime. We go at 4−5ish. Its loud so its not a big deal if our kids are noisy. The food is good and reasonable priced. We like the loaded fries, pizza and salads. I’ve never had their drinks or sushi. The staff is friendly and the music and atmosphere is fun. Its a nice time. I would avoid going when its busy. If you want to go on a weekend(especially with a large group), get there right at opening. Also, we’ve been here with a large group of 8 and they put us on one lane. I don’t know if they only do that when its busy or all of the time but we were crammed into our table. Its fun for our small family of four on a Tuesday or other non-busy time and reasonably priced. But, if our family is in town visiting I’d take them to another alley to bowl at — better prices and more space.

This place has great service! Such a fun atmosphere and for a weekend they were nicely not too busy(at least during the day). The edamame and loaded fries are so great, but do yourself a favor and skip the nachos. The chicken wasn’t all that great and overall flavor was pretty disappointing. Otherwise a super fun outing!

Visited a friend in Fredericksburg and we stopped in Splitsville. Not a big fan of the name but oh well. Was told there was a 1 hour plus wait for both bowling and pool. Not good. Then I checked out the prices and I couldn’t believe they charged big city prices in Fredericksburg. $ 6 a game and $ 3 for shoes… this must be Manhattan… nope it’s still Fredericksburg. Too top it all off the lanes looked small. No thanks. We did order some drinks and appetizers. The fried pickles were very good and hit the spot. The rest(cheeseburger sliders, and calamari) were overpriced and underwhelming. Thank goodness this place has a bar and fried pickles.
