Great food and menu combos. Had cocoa and a hint of chili peppers over chicken enchiladas. Very good! Fresh guacamole was also very good! Only con is parking. Street parking only. Short walk from downtown. Across from sugar shack.

We were excited to try this place, given that we heard it has the same owners as Soup & Taco. But, this was not a great dining experience. The food wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good either. It also seemed like they didn’t change up the décor or even clean anything upon taking over this building. I would not return here.

Nothing terrible but nothing great. Very average food. Cute bistro, good service. Just needs to improve their food.

The service was AWESOME. Our waitress, Emily, made sure everything was perfect and kept our glasses full. The food was hot, freshly made, and so tasty. We’ll definitely be going back here.

Great place to eat… electic menu featuring cuisine from England and South America… yumm!
Something for everyone… from burgers to fine shrimp ravioli or my favorite Fish and Chips… authentic…
Do not pass on the Crab Bisque soup… it is outstanding!

As a local Old Town Fredericksburg restaurant lover, I Absolutely recommend Bistro 806! It’s a little hidden gem in Old Town Fredericksburg! We’ve been there several times and have always LOVED the food and the very friendly service! The crab bisque is so amazing that we asked if we could take some home with us! We purchased 4 extra orders! The shrimp and salmon risotto was so creamy and seasoned perfectly! I’ve also had the shrimp tacos and they were equally perfection! Do yourself a big favor and try this place!

Yummy yummy. Cute little place. Great service. Sunday brunch, special holiday dinners. Great for special occasions or just to drop in for some home made Mexican food. Steaming hot and seasoned perfectly and fresh. I will be back and back and back.

My girlfriend told me «soup and taco» opened a restaurant with a different menu, they have similar things with American additions. I ordered the hamburger, pretty good. My girlfriend ordered the cream of crab soup that «soup and taco» also has on their menu, but she said it wasn’t as spicy so it was better, for a person who doesn’t like spice. She also ordered the Reuben which was being promoted by another elderly woman who was sitting at another table across from us, it was pretty amusing. My girlfriend says its one of the best Reubens she’s ever had. Our server and possibly owner was pretty nice, she has an awesome accent! We also came here with my parents who also enjoyed their meals, my dad ordering fish and chips, a salad, refried beans and two shots of JD had a great experience. My mom settled for a hamburger only because they didn’t have crab cakes and you can’t go wrong with a burger! I’d eat here again and I’d bring my parents too.

My 11 yr old daughter is very picky with food. She absolutely won’t touch meat under normal circumstances, however she ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and fried ice cream for dessert and loved everything. She said it was the best salad she ever had. My husband and I tried fajitas and shrimp tacos and we loved everything. Our waiter was attentive and professional. Even though the meal was a little pricey, it was totally worth it. Will definitely come again.

Amazing food, each time we have gone the food has been great. One of the best Filet Minon we have ever eaten. The brunch on the weekends is super yummy as well, we hope to try the Mexican night one of these days as our neighbors have and their pics and reviews are amazing!

My wife and I were driving through downtown and saw their menu sign outside and thought it would be a good time to try it out. Parking is limited to the street so it’s a little bit of a walk to the restaurant which I don’t mind. When we got there it was empty and I was really worried about not seeing anyone around dinner time. I ordered the pollo chipotle and my wife ordered beef enchiladas. We also got a cup of crab bisque. Chips and salsa were provided and were good. The crab bisque came out and was nothing short amazing. A little bit of spice and very creamy. When our food came out the food was hot as were the plates. I took a bite of the rice and the flavor was great as were the beans. Now to the chicken, very flavorful and spicy. Our water was kept full and the staff was very friendly. I can only hope they get more business and stick around. The flavor was delicious and not like anything else I’ve had in Fredericksburg.

A decent Caesar salad is not hard to pull off, but they managed. Iceberg lettuce, undersauced and what there was was not good, only 3 croutons. The chicken was cooked fresh and that was nice.
The BBQ beef sandwich was fantastic. Tastes differ in BBQ, but this was just the way I like it, with a lot of vinegar.
Can’t decide whether to give it another chance.

Must get the shrimp tacos! They have a nice variety of bottled beers. Friendly staff. Definitely check this place out!

The food here is pretty good. Hubby and I both got the crab cakes and were pretty happy with them overall. The sides were also tasty, especially the rice pilaf.
But I think their décor needs some updating and our waiter was not very professional. I had to ask a number of questions about their specials to figure out what they were. Having been a waitress throughout HS and college, that’s one of the first things that you learn when trying to up sell your specials — explain them! What are they, how are they made, what comes with them. Despite being one of a very small number of tables, I just didn’t feel like we were taken care of at all.
Good food. Mediocre service.

A little pricy for the area, but the quality of food is worth every penny. Enjoy.
Great Bistro setting, made to order food, quiet, service was prompt, different soup each day. Lack of choices on the salads, but GREAT Tarragon Vinaigrette house dressing. Crab chowder was awesome. Fish tacos were very tasty. Fish was cooked perfectly. Coffee was strong yet very delicious.
Overall a wonderful experience. Several repeat visits are now necessary.

The cream of crab soup is a MUST!!! It is only on the menu on Saturday. The crab cake sandwich was also awesome. I never need to go to Ocean City for them again. The only sad part of our visit was when our food was gone. We were full but it was so good we could have drowned ourselves in the soup.

Took the family to E.O.S and everyone had a great meal! There was an entrée that was incorrect and Roberta immediately corrected the problem and told us to keep the original entrée. I am sure glad she did bc it was delicious! She also brought out 5 desserts on the house! These folks know what they’re doing and they go the extra mile to guarantee you have a great experience and meal!

Thought we would try the place that used to be Jake and Mikes. Eight O Six is under new management. We were the only ones on a cold Wednesday at 5pm. Staff was very nice. Ordered the pork marsala with the tomato soup. Both were very good. Others at my table had a hamburger and chicken marsala. Very good too. The only thing I have to say is that the waiter could be dressed like a waiter for the quality of the food here. Nice table cloths, silverware and glassware were upscale. Prices were very reasonable. House Cab was excellent. Parking is a problem until you know the secret. After 5pm you can park at the Merrimans service station next door. Just don’t block the service bay doors. Park on the William street side. –wopr
