Horrible place. The restaurant was filthy when we went in. The only reason I stayed was because someone was paying for my meal and I didn’t drive so I had no way to leave. The food is less than okay. I ate very little because the food was not good and the dirty carpets ruined my appetite. There is no way I will eat here again.

I thought their food was awful. It wasn’t fresh and didn’t taste very good. It’s cheap for a buffet but I guess you get what you pay for. I won’t be going back to the«die nasty» buffet.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to! A friend and I went because we had a coupon and because it was cheap, but seriously, you couldn’t pay me to eat here again. The inside of the restaurant was dark and not very clean. I felt dirtier for sitting down there. The food… what can I say? None of it tasted good! I don’t come into a buffet and expect a high-quality meal, but seriously, none of the food I had at Dynasty tasted good. Whether it was an American or Asian food item, everything was either bland, cold, soggy, or had a strange taste I couldn’t identify. Maybe spoiled? The sad part was I kept trying new foods in the hopes that something would taste good, but nothing did, not even the dessert. In the end, I was just left with an upset stomach and a disgusting taste in my mouth. You’d be better off having dinner at Dairy Queen across the street. When I was talking to my friends about my bad dining experience, one girl said that her dad found a rock in his food the last time he went. A ROCK? Really? This place is like something out of Kitchen Nightmares. Spare yourself the nausea and indigestion and stay away!

A great Chinese buffet. For $ 7.99 dinner can’t complain. As far as buffets go, it’s a favorite. Nice folks running the restaurant, and quick to serve. A variety of selections with even fried seafood and pizza for the kids.

This was the first time I have eaten here. 2 of my good friends made the suggestion. I walked in and right away we were seated. The waitress took our drink orders and told us to get started at the buffet, The place was semi — crowded due to it being 12:30. I grab a plate and begin looking at the variety of different selections,(Just like most Chinese Food Buffets). Well of course my favorite has always been the General Tso’s Chicken. I go over the the pan, and there are only 3 or 4 pieces left. It looked like it had been sitting there for quite awhile. I told myself I will come back when the bring out a fresh batch. So I grabbed some Sweet and Sour Chicken,(without sauce)(I do this to taste the consistency first). Got a spoonful of whole mushrooms, Some Lo mien noodles, and two egg rolls. I went and sat back down at the table with my friends. The mushrooms were as I expected cooked well, with a slight brown broth flavor, not bad. I then try the Chicken(without sweet and sour sauce). The breading was terrible, very doughy, and chicken was very cold and gristly inside, The Lo mien had very little flavor to it, which most I have tried had a much better taste. it was almost as if the noodles were not cooked to the right tenderness. So I moved on the the egg rolls. They were just plain and nothing special about them.(I have had a lot better). So my friend then sees they are bringing out the Fresh General Tso’s Chicken and brings me back a plate. The sauce was about the same as most, but the chicken was way over done and very hard. IT almost had a burnt taste to it. I hated wasting food, but I had to pass on the other pieces. I make my way for another plate to see if anything else might be appealing, I spotted the Orange Chicken, so I got a spoonful, and returned to the table. I must say, this was MUCH better than the General Tso’s I had just tried, although made the same way, the chicken was much more tender and the sauce was very flavorful.(Still have had MUCH better). Well I was pretty full at this point, but I walked over the the dessert section and noticed the had about 6 gallons of different flavors of Ice cream that you scoop yourself. There was an older man using the scoop, which was having quite a hard time trying to get a good amount into the scooper. He then handed me the scoop, and I noticed his finger was covered in Ice cream. That means his finger went into the gallon container, And I asked myself… How many other peoples fingers have done the same thing!!! Disgusting! So I passed on the ice cream. I went to the restroom, and I have never seen a more disgusting scene in my life, and I wont even begin to describe what it was like. All I can say is HEALTHDEPARTMENTWATCHOUT. I was sick at this point. We got our check and left. SO… for $ 5.95 a person. the price is good for a buffet. I would pay much more for another Chinese buffet establishment. This was probably the dirtiest and un kept restaurant I have been to in a long time. I understand that many buffets appear to be less than standard, but this was beyond low standards. My advise, go check it out, and you be the judge. For a cheap family of 4 the price was around $ 24 including drinks. Would I eat there again? I am always willing to give a restaurant another chance but you only get 2 and if I don’t like it after that. its done! Thanks for reading my review, Its purely based on my personal opinion, so give this place a try, and you may have a whole different outlook from what I had. Thanks! CP

As far as buffets go, this is about average. I was impressed that the buffet contained sushi. There was a wide selection, but not the widest selection for vegetarians. Fortunately, the string beans were some of the yummiest things on the buffet, so I was content. There were also plenty of acceptable choices for the youngsters in our group. I was surprised to find frog legs and chicken balls on the buffet, and enjoyed daring the carnivores to try them. Neither of the aforementioned dishes were a big hit, but, hey, that’s the beauty of a buffet! A chance to sample the unorthodox dishes while scarfing down platefuls of the standard favorites.

The traffic on the I-95 forced me off to Fredericksburg — well, I was getting tired of moving an inch a minute so I’d thought I’d stop off a while and grab a bite. Trusty GPS(remind me to throw it away!!!) brought up a list of chain restaurants and Dynasty. Dynasty seemed like a good option — the huge sign they had said«Buffet» and«$ 7.95». Could anyone go wrong with that?! Er… YES! They should just remove«D» and«Y» and call it NASTY buffet. The place looked promising from the outside — they are sneaky here — sitting quite a number of customers near the windows so you see a «crowd» inside — which always attracts more people in — well, safety in numbers they say. You walk in and just know you have made a mistake. They have 2 sections in their restaurant. The front of which is cornered off — they have a sign put up advertising rental of the space — and to save on their utilities bill, that front area is not lit at all — so you look into a small hall with dining tables and chairs. Not a very inviting feel. They have 4 buffet stations but it is more like 3 cos one of the stations is filled with containers of different sauces(chili, ketchup etc). They have crab legs but you have to pay about $ 4 more with a 2 plate limit per person. They do not really refill the chafing dishes fast enough for you not to feel like you came in at the end of hall lunch and are looking at leftovers — Las Vegas this is NOT! The place feels very greasy and smells as much. The food is barely edible. They had a few half-heartedly made sushi pieces(really not edible), the food was overly salted and the soup actually smelled bad. You get the feeling that they went to Costco and bought the catering pack of mixed broccoli and cauliflower and disguised the same with 3 different combination — «seafood» broccoli-cauliflower, chicken broccoli-cauliflower, xxx broccoli-cauliflower(you get the idea). Then there was the over-enthusiastic use of imitation crab stick in the same vein as the broccoli-cauliflower. There was a huge ham and even an overcooked(read hard) roast. The dessert bar included cheap generic biscuits! Man! Arggggghhhhhh. The customers in the restaurant look mostly«lonely». Mostly single tables — sad lonely looking people piling their plates with food which they dont really need. It was a sad sad place. I would not recommend this to anyone cos it is just really not worth it. Let’s put it this way — I’d wish I was stuck on the I-95 instead.
