This CB was the best I’ve been too, and I’m very stingy with 5 star ratings. Facilities were identical to every other CB, but the service was outstanding. Jeremiah was our server and he was great. He was super attentive and friendly to us, as well as all his other tables. Even out in the general store, the staff was friendly and outgoing. It seemed like the staff actually enjoyed being at work. The food was out very quickly and was as good as all other CBs.

My family and I stopped by for Thanksgiving dinner, it was me and my son’s first time and we were not disappointed. The hostess immediately seated us and our server, Dana greeted us right away. We all ordered the Thanksgiving dinner and it was so good. Dana was busy but she was very attentive and we were never left waiting for long for anything. The food was good, service was great and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. I loved checking out the store and all its goodies in the other room and every employee I came across was helpful and quick to assist and always with a smile. I appreciated them being there on a holiday and still working with a great and positive attitude. Thank you, Dana and rest of Cracker Barrel staff for a great meal and a nice holiday evening.

Stopped by on a road trip for my first Cracker Barrel meal. I’m thankful none exist in NYC or else I’d be 50 pounds heavier. The atmosphere is really cozy and comforting, something I didn’t expect from a chain. It feels more like your neighborhood spot that you go to with your family on a cold December Sunday morning. There’s a fireplace and everything! I got the egg sandwich, and my boyfriend got the country boy breakfast. Our meals came with a bunch of sides, like grits, biscuits, gravy, hashbrown casserole, jam, my favorite one being the fried apples. I tried a piece of the steak in the country boy breakfast and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly, which was surprising for me because most places don’t get steak right. Also got coffees, which they refill for freezies. Everything was delicious and filling, and for so cheap, too. Our waitress, Phaedra, was quick and helpful, and I love how on your way out, you get like a dozen goodbyes and well wishes from the staff.

For anyone who hasn’t been to a Cracker Barrel before your in for a pleasant surprise. It’s about as wholesome and family-oriented restuarant as you will ever encounter. It’s called a «Old Country Store» because whe you walk in you see lots of cool«crafty» items for sale as well as some articles of clothing and candy, preserves, pies etc. These are items you probably won’t see anywhere else. I even saw a hand made quilt! The food is great and the people are even better. Very quick, professional and always really courteous.

My daughter woke up asking for pancakes over and over again so I decided why not have a daddy daughter breakfast here. Came on a Monday morning and the place was not packed to my surprise but it was a Monday and people do work. Our waitress was extremely friendly and personable and kept a conversation with my daughter. My daughter has the kid pancake meal with bacon and milk. You can get 1 or 2 pancakes with the meal. The waitress advised we can get one now and the other later if needed and it was not needed at all. The pancake was huge and fluffy. My daughter who is 2 ate majority of it before rubbing her little belly saying I’m stuffed daddy… my heart melts for her. I ordered the sunrise special. This meal comes with a ton of food. 2 biscuits with gravy on the side but I love love love the apple butter. You must ask for the apple butter and don’t forget to ask because you are truly missing out. The meal also comes with grits, cinnamon apples, hashbrowns, 2 eggs(mine over easy) and a few different meats(bacon sausage and ham). I basically licked the plate clean and came close to just spooning out the apple butter like apple sauce… seriously its that good. For a chain you cant beat the home feel and the huge meal. Its cheap its filling its good. It hits the spot and I will continue coming for breakfast.

Never dealt with so many incompetent people before. I was splitting a check, so I told the lady to charge my card 8.50 she instead charges me the whole bill plus 8.50. Then I tell her to refund it so she calls her also incompetent manager over and he decides to refund everything back except the 8.50, why? Idk. So then he splits the check that has already been taxed, does the math wrong while doing simple division on a napkin, and charges us tax twice and ends up giving us another refund. I just don’t understand how such simple task can’t be done correctly. Anyways days later I have to call there corporate office to get my full refund, waste of time. Food wasn’t even that good here, other crack barrels are way better.

There is a Cracker Barrel at nearly every stop along interstate 95, but this is my favorite. The wait staff is incredibly well trained and punctual. The food was excellent and I couldn’t have asked for better service. My favorite is the country fried chicken. It’s never over cook and tastes good enough to eat for days. Don’t fill up and skip dessert though! Everything is made fresh and it is worth holding back during your meal. Of course, the attached gift shop was nothing short of impressive. Overall, I will come back here again and again.

This Cracker Barrel is good. The food and service are decent. The shop had a lot of nice and unique gifts. There were a lot of people when we went on our morning visit so the bathroom was heavily used. It could have been cleaned better or they should have had an attendant in there checking it out constantly. Other than that, the food was good and a good value.

Good service. We were seated right away. I have been to this store many times. I am rarely disappointed. There was much diversity in staff. That’s a good thing. Great raspberry tea. Great biscuits. Very attractive menu. Some vegetables were soggy. Overall fish was cooked to order. Waiter took too long to give us our check. Otherwise, experience was good.

Cracker Barrel is always a great lunch stop during a road trip. Our family really enjoyed the restaurant and gift shop here. The blueberry pancakes were scrumptious, and the waitress even gave our a children a few extra mini bottles of syrup to take home!

It was my first Cracker Barrel experience. I award 5 stars for their… I think they call it «Momma’s Pancake Special.» For 8 bucks you get a lot of value. The pancakes were probably the best I ever had, and you get real maple syrup to pour on them. Included were scambled eggs and sausage. I can see now why this chain is popular.

Cracker Barrel is a good standby for a home cooked meal. The Southpoint Cracker Barrel is just one of the many good experiences I have had with Cracker Barrel. Good clean restaurant with fast friendly service.

Service is always wonderful. Breakfast is our cuisine of choice here. Hubby & I typically order pancakes, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, and OJ. So yummy & filling. Wish the coffee was better but we can get our caffeine somewhere else.

This was my first time at a Cracker Barrel in VA and it was a great experience! We arrived early on a Sunday morning and the place was packed but only had to wait a few minutes for a table. We were quickly seated and greeted. Our waitress was very nice and always kept checking on us. I order Grandpa’s Country Fried Breakfast with country fried steak and it was delicious!

This was a bad day for my family and I. We had just left Red Robin after waiting 25 mins at our table without anyone recognizing us at all. Got to Cracker Barrel and had a waitress(Jenna) requesting our drink order within less than a minute. Not only was she way busier than anyone that we had seen at Red Robin when we left, she also visited us every couple mins giving refills, asking if we needed anything, and making our experience very welcoming. She even took time to assist the busy Bus-boy without even slacking on her waitress duties. Jenna was a perfect example of how all waitresses should tend to their customers. Also, she has reinstilled our faith in receiving good service. Thank you Jenna and management, obviously you are doing something right. –Bates Family

No complaints at all. The server Patrick M. is attentive and«down home» style with his serving and conversation. He seems to know many of his customers which goes to show that this particular CB is a favorite of locals. Ask for him if you’re passing through and experience it for yourself

I don’t care how cute the décor is… if the food is disgusting I’m not liking it at all! Two stars for the décor. I love the fact there is so many cute decorations everywhere and lighting is perfect… there is also a huge fire place… looks great and interesting… there’s this country feel to this place… very attentive envorment… the waiter and waitress is nice and helpfully with everything… but then there is the foods… horrible!!! The food tasted like high schools cafeteria food… bland and tasteless… so not worth it… There was not that many people dining here… I wonder why… I order the meatloaf and green beans with mash… everything was bad… Mainly was the most discounting food ever… Boston market was even better. I told the, the green bean was not edible… they apologize and change my order to whatever I like I got the baked hash brown with cheese in my mind… I thought how can you even mess up hash browns… It’s like a store brought product… but at least they try to fix the issue… Next to the restaurant there is a joint store called the cackle Barrel store. they sell random stuff and sweets… I didn’t purchase anything there but did walk around… everything was just so over priced… It was just pointless… There is a huge parking lot!

Took a group of ten here for brunch today(11⁄17) and had a most enjoyable time. The menu is large and the portions range from just-right to large. The prices are outstanding, and the service was very good to excellent(attentive and friendly, at all times). Out of ten in our party there were ten happy customers. In our group, we sat down at 1215 p.m. and seven of ten ordered breakfast items while three of ten had lunch/dinner-type items. It took between 15 and 20 minutes for our order for ten to be brought to the table — average-to-quick for a large party of our size. The one weakness noted was that the hostess and dining room manager were slow to get us seated. This was more than made up for by the wonderful service and tasty meals. Large groups are much harder to seat than groups of four or less, and we understand that. We live local to this Crack Barrel and we will return. Finally, the Unilocal review for this Cracker Barrel store, that is six reviews below mine, dated 3÷5÷2009 and from a gentleman from California, is offensive. I wonder how he would like someone to bin him the way he bins other people.

I like their food, cheap, nothing too fancy, abundance of complimentary bread, just enough food to keep you full. Great place to stop for lunch right before you go to play on roller coasters. My service was nice and attentive. I ordered salmon patties, a limited time special with two sides for 7.62. My bro ordered grilled trout with fresh and plump blackberries plus a side of sweet baby carrots. The sweet baked potato I ordered had brown sugar in it and whipped butter on the side. Super sweet and good. The chicken pot pie my friend ordered was delicious and full of meat and veggies. Everything under $ 10 and taste great!
