First time ever going here. Needed something inexpensive with 3 kids. Went on a Sunday afternoon, not too crowded. Food was terrific! Salad bar has a large selection of times and all were fresh. Almost every type of pizza you can imagine and was fresh and very good. Decent little dessert selection also. Glad I found this place. Will definitely be returning. I filled up 3 growing boys with salad, pizza, dessert and drinks for only $ 11.00. Great value.

This place is a hit or miss. If you try to come on a Friday or Saturday night they’re going to be packed for sure. But I have gone in and there not be many people and the whole place is dirty. There are a lot of young people that work there and sometimes the cashier can be good or bad. Today was a good day, cashier explained everything and was very polite. We didn’t come in here for awhile because their cable was out but its back up now. Now they no longer offer free water, you either have to get a fountain or buy a bottle of water for 50¢.

So my post below was over 4 months ago and again I had to learn the hard way. On 12÷30÷15, 6 of us show up to Cici’s. After the credit card is charged they tell us that they are out of Diet Coke, sausage, and bacon. Then we notice a sign IN the restaurant(just getting put up) with the additional note that they are out of chicken and beef as well. Oh and they ran out of pasta. Wonder if mangers or even owners ever read these reviews! Fredericksburg Cici’s is the worse! So arrived at Fredericksburg Cici’s around 4pm on Friday afternoon, there were 4, yes 4 tables clean in the whole place. Every other table was dirty! What have these people been doing all day? We busted our own table so we could eat. On top of that, all the plates were wet, so you had to wipe them down before you put food on them. The counter at the salad bar and soup bar were completely dirty. And you can tell when pizzas are not fresh and none of them were fresh when we walked in. Extremely disappointed with our visit.

Fresh salad, awesome cherry tomatoes included. Unlike most salad bars, this salad had NO frozen or rotten ingredients, a real plus! The pizza is filling and the brownies are yummy. The one thing that kept this from being five-star was that, unlike most Cici’s, this one won’t customize pizzas for your table within the buffet price. As a vegetarian, this option that we usually enjoy is usually needed. Fortunately they kept several vege-friendly options on the deck.

Read the last two reviews and it is the exact same. Three families waiting for tables when I walked in. Just moved back from Japan after 4 years and haven’t had cici’s in a long time… Disappointed. Not sure if anyone is in charge here. Neighboring table said they were calling the owner tomorrow. Shame. Pizza was ok, just not good

Terribly rude teenagers(young adults?) working here. We walked in after a long day at Kings Dominion and was looking forward to some pizza and pasta before returning home in Alexandria. We have frequented different CiCi’s locations around the country due to my husband being in the Army. The one thing that is always the same is the greeting«Welcome to CiCi’s.» Well, the 5 of us walked in and — no greeting. No big deal — my husband, trying to be the funny man said it to himself during the silence… No response from the young man behind the counter. But another young lady(perhaps a shift manager of some sort?) turns and says to the boy behind the counter, laughingly, «Ya, what’s up with that?» He still did not respond. I tell the boy that we have five to signal that he should ring us up… He does not. Instead, he looks at me and my wallet which happened to be open and says, «we don’t accept checks». Um, excuse me? Why would you think I am paying with a check? You haven’t even given me a total, let alone rung us up… I explained I am not paying with a check — at this point I am a bit perturbed. He then responds with, «Uh, ok, so you are paying for all five?» ??? Didn’t I already tell you that? I respond, «yes» as nicely as possible. He gives me the total, and then a young blond behind the counter who witnessed all of this brings over 5 cups and slams them on the counter with a snide«here are your cups» and walks away. At this, the young female shift manager-or-whatever laughs and says the blondes name in a way indicating she thought it was amusing. We were tired and hungry but at no point should we be treated like you are doing us a favor when we choose to patronize your establishment. I let the young man know I was not pleased with what was happening and we would not be dining there. He quickly began apologizing and refunded the purchase. We turned to leave and apparently, on top of everything that had just happened, the young man made a gesture towards me that my husband saw — at this point, when my husband told this little kid how being disrespectful was not appreciated, this kid decided he should get in a yelling match with him. It is highly unlikely they can be taught what customer service and respectfulness is at this point in there lives, but the owner would do well by these kids and the business if they were replaced with some who know how to treat customers appropriately. We dined at Five Guys down the road — it was one of the few places still open at 9:30 that was not too fast-foody. A very pleasant experience and, as usual, friendly service.

Me and my family dined here last Thursday. The pizza was good, however the service was HORRIBLE. When we went to sit down after paying for the buffet every single booth in the place was dirty. We had to call someone out to clean one so that we could even sit down, who btw was not very nice. The highchairs were completely disgusting. The floor under the booths were all very nasty with food scattered everywhere. The employees all seem lazy. The girl at the register stood around and talked to her guy friend & kept playing with her cellphone while customers were all complaining that there weren’t any clean tables. After being there about 30 mins and seeing several people complain that they needed a table clean… someone FINALLY came out and started cleaning them. I don’t know that we will be back.

We always go here when we don’t have a lot of money to spend on dinner but want to eat out. The food here can be good at times and shitty other times, The best pizza they make is the macaroni pizza but they don’t keep a steady flow of it in the window. You can order your own pizza for the table but if you don’t finish it you cannot take the rest with you(understandable considering you paid for a buffet and not take out pizza) The restaurant ALWAYS seems very very dirty, like they cannot keep up with cleaning the place. The highchairs are ALWAYS disgusting and so are the restrooms(which, for the amount of time they have been there and the business they get should be updated). The manager that i am assuming is the store manager is usually an asshole whenever we go and doesn’t like to show his face to much. The staff there mostly only speaks spanish so talking to them is pretty much out of the question unless you know fluent spanish(unfortunately i do not). They used to be a really good restaurant when they were first there maybe like 4 – 5 years ago but they have REALLY gone down hill(apart from now accepting cards as well as cash). Update things and fix things and i might go back.

The pizza and salad were ok. Nothing more or less, with how slow the place was I expected better service and hot pizza. I was surprised when the table next to me asked for a box to take over half of an ordered pizza and was advised it would be the cost of 91 cents per slice on the tray. Such a waste of food.

Inexpensive pizza, but a good deal for all you can eat for only $ 5. I am so glad they accept credit cards now. It used to be cash only and I would always be stuck using their ATM because I would forget to get cash before heading to the restaurant.

the price of $ 5.50 for an AYCE pizza buffet isn’t bad, and you really can’t expect excellent service or excellet food for that price. what i like: pizza’s to your liking… and if there is something you want you can order it. they take credit cards. i’ve been to a few that only accept cash. tables were cleaned pretty quickly — despite the lack of napkin dispensers on some tables. what i don’t like: this place and get busy and crazy. today was a MADHOUSE! line out the door, no pizza’s on the line, when there was pizza, there was a huge line. only one soda machine — but i guess considering the size of the place, one isn’t terrible. narrow walk ways… imagine kids AND adults coming in and out of tables, zooming from the buffet line to soda machine to table to bathroom… it’s crowded. pizzas i enjoy anything zesty – zesty spinach with pepperoni and jalapeño zesty cheese zesty supreme

Ugh. What can I say about this place without offending too many people? I have no idea who the manager of this place is but he or she needs to be replaced ASAP! I mean… Most of the employees are teenie boppers, so I can’t expect them to provide good service and a sanitary environment. First thing I noticed about this place is the fact that they do not provide a military discount. Now I’m not looking for hand outs, but is it too much to ask that places like this help out a little to the very people who provide freedom and defend liberty? After my wife and I sat down, I had to go to other tables to find napkins, salt and pepper, parmesan cheese, ect… Also, I can’t really identify the cause(nor do I care to), but the floors were sticky. Now about the food. CiCi’s in my opinion doesn’t have the best pizza by a long shot! But it would have been nice if the stuff was at least warm. I even waited until the pizza was fresh out of the oven and it was Luke-warm at best. How does that happen?! The bathroom was appalling! It was not clean and the urinal overflowed. Also, I had to use the roll of paper to clean the urine off of the seat before I could use the bathroom! Once again, filthy! At least there was soap by the sink! In regards to this place, drive further up the road and get a value meal and McDonalds. I will not be returning to this location.
