We just ordered a ton of food. Sashimi was good, but the crab on other dishes was too much. Imitation crab or just spoiled. Not good. Food stuck to my beer glass. Management tells me there’s nothing to be done about it. I wasn’t looking for a free meal. But cmon… try to do something for me. Won’t be back.

Ordered plenty of sushi for two. Sent back two rolls, flavor of the fish was over powered by the«four special sauces,» the spicy tuna was watery, avocado on the tower was turning brown, the crab on the enfugo roll again watery. Waiter spoke to the manager and I quote«manager said that there is nothing they could do to remove the rolls.» Needless to say if you are an avid sushi eater don’t eat here. In no way were we looking for a free meal, paid our bill, and left. Absolutely outrageous. #stillhungry

I was pleasantly surprised with Sushi Axiom! I went to the restaurant to order food to-go. After ordering, they offered me a complimentary soda while I waited. Great customer service! The Philly roll was amazing! I also had a salmon roll. It was your basic salmon roll. The seaweed tasted a little sweet to me… It was different, but not bad! The seaweed is on the outside on the salmon roll, so maybe that’s why I noticed it more. They give very large pieces of fish when you order the individual pieces of sushi. I’ll definitely be back to this location :)

Went here for dinner a couple of nights ago and it was as pleasant as the last time(2+ years ago). We ordered chicken fried rice which was very good. I like that they add bean sprouts to it and the chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. I had the scallop dynamite roll which was eh okay. My friend had the shrimp tempura roll and said it was good. I recall more impressive rolls from past dining experiences but couldn’t remember the names. Oh well, guess I’ll have to come back soon!:)

Quite literally the worst sushi I have ever eaten. Since I am pregnant, I ordered the spider roll, vegetable roll, and a calamari type roll. A pet peeve that they said they did not have fresh crab(not surimi) to make a cooked roll but ok– not a requirement. The spider and calamari roll was soaking in grease(oil not hot enough to fry) and I don’t think fresh at all. The vegetable roll tasted smokey-maybe was suppose to but did not complement the veggies. I was disappointed since I had been recommended this particular spot.

This is my go to sushi spot in Fort Worth. Tasty sushi at a fair price and they offer more then just sushi. This place is ideal for dates or if your just looking for some delicious sushi.

Surprised by how much I enjoyed this place! The sushi boat was a great value, and all of the sushi tasted very fresh. The rolls seem to be on the heavier side(this is Texas after all), which is not really my cup of tea but I tried to pick the cream cheese off. Ginger dressing on the salad was solid too. This is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!!!

I absolutely love their appetizer white tuna poke. This is my 4th time having it and I’m never dissatisfied. It is delicious. It is a good sized portion to share or to even have as a meal. it doesn’t come with rice so be sure to ask for it. I also had their Choco-tini which was perfect not to sweet but definitely satisfying.

The sushi is pretty decent here for the price. I’d suggest the salmon ceviche if you want something fresh!

No. No. No I am usually a fan of sushi but I really didn’t like this place. Not much to the menu and their raw sushi was just plain disgusting. The waiter hardly even checked on us and there was barely anyone in there! I love sushi but i think I’d enjoy going somewhere else. Also the tables were a bit sticky and it made me feel uncomfortable. Not much to say about this place but that you could find better sushi on west 7th and downtown

Not bad, but not fantastic. Went with two other people for Sunday lunch. There were quite a bit of other people there but still plenty of tables open and no wait. To start, we ordered agedashi tofu. It came in this soup bowl with a generous amount of sauce and six pieces of fried tofu. The sauce was on the sweet side which I personally did not like. We ordered the dancing eel roll, which was the highlight of the meal. It had shrimp tempura, avocado, imitation crab mix, and eel. The eel was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. The other roll we got was the spider roll which was also pretty good. The soft shell crab didn’t taste old and was perfectly fried. We also ordered salmon sashimi, king salmon sashimi, conch, white tuna, ikura, and tuna. The sashimi pieces were thinly sliced and fresh. I’ve never had king salmon before so I tried a piece and wasn’t a fan. It had a kind of stringy texture and was salty. It wasn’t smooth and buttery like regular salmon sashimi. Service here was average. Our waters were always full but it took awhile for our waiter to come and take our order. The ambience of the restaurant is modern with black backdrops and the entrance has a sheet of glass with water streaming down it. I’d come back if one of my friends wanted to come here but this isn’t one of my top sushi pics.

Best lunch bento box in the area. Lots of food for the money and the sushi was fresh. Would be a great place for a dinner date. Miso was some of the best I’ve had in this area. Located in Montgomery Plaza, it’s a cool place to walk around before or after the meal.

Such a great compromise — I love sushi and anything raw, but my future hubs always wants cooked rolls, stir-fry, or fried rice. Sushi Axiom is the best of both worlds! Delicious and GENEROUS portions of sashimi — I enjoyed the salmon, hamachi, and white tuna. I tried conch here for the first time… Not a fan. I feel like if it were sliced thinner then the texture would have been more enjoyable. The taste was good, but the texture was tough and unpleasant. We also ordered a spider roll and jalapeño roll — Both were HUGE! Great flavors and really good for sharing. The spider roll was beautifully presented with the end pieces featuring deep fried soft shell crab legs and pinchers. Love that crunch! The jalapeño roll has pickled jalapeño, not fresh, so it was a bit spicier than I expected, but I like heat. The cream cheese and cucumber cool it off though, don’t worry. I wish I had had room to order an Amy roll, but oh well… Next time! :) To satisfy David’s desires, we ordered beef fried rice. SOGOOD. Never have I ordered from Axiom’s non-sushi side of the menu. And, to be honest, I usually find that Asian restaurants either do cooked food or raw sushi well, but rarely both… But Sushi Axiom begs to differ! Can’t wait to come back for another sushi Sunday date :)

Why is this place so much better than the other ft worth sushi axiom? Came here for lunch and had the special roll box, which that day came with California roll and shrimp tempura roll. Both were super fresh. But what surprisingly stole the show was the salad that came with the box! I have no idea what type of salad it was but it has a nice vinegary flavor to it. If you’re coming here for lunch, I would highly recommend any of the lunch boxes: the combination box(cooked variety with chicken terriyaki and tempura), special roll box(2 rolls), Bento box(sashimi and roll) They’re all $ 10-$ 11 and will fill you up really well!

Friendly staff and the service was great. My boyfriend and I always get the sister roll and are never disappointed. Beef tataki is a MUST!(It’s raw FYI) Their calamari is delicious too.

Food: 4 stars. Service: 1 star for effort. My friends and I popped in with reservations at 9PM on a Saturday night. The restaurant was winding down, somewhat. Our waiter was easily very, very new. We took each mistake with a grain of salt, but it definitely hurt the experience. He brought out cold pear sake in wine glasses. which was super freaking odd. The sake tasted so weird out of a wine glass. We had to ask for glass tumblers instead. He kept wanting to confirm the TWO beers we ordered, and got it wrong each time. Then, he came out later to inform us of a shortage of uni. which we didn’t order. He must have slept through the staff training. Manager presence was noticeably lacking as well. We ordered the soft shell crab and chicken spring roll appetizers that took… 40 minutes to roll out… talk about painful. The crab came with straight soy sauce. Not worth $ 9. The spring rolls were laughable. It was rice paper, lettuce, and grilled chicken. That was literally it. What. the. eff. Their saving grace was the sushi boat. Unhhggg. I loved it. I don’t normally eat sashimi or nigiri, and I have to say as a newbie, I was in sushi heaven. The boat was $ 40 and moderately fed three hungry, cranky people. 7th street roll was bad for you, but so damn good for the soul.

SHORT Version: Classy & contemporary atmosphere, excellent service, full bar, and good food. Perfect for a date night. I’ve had better sushi, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Located in Montgomery Plaza. LONGER Version: I love Sushi Axiom and this location is the best one. The atmosphere has a very high-end, classy contemporary feel — maybe a little more dressy than some of the other locations. I don’t suggest showing up in a t-shirt and flip flops as this place has more of a swanky feel to it. In my opinion, the atmosphere is perfect for a date night. The service here is very professional. The wait staff can make lots of helpful suggestions for you and the food comes out in a fair amount of time. The ingredients are top notch and I have never had anything bad from here. It’s not the most amazing sushi I have ever tasted, but the sushi is good quality and tasty. My favorite roll is the Colonial Roll, but they have lots of other really good raw items too. They also have a full bar and a sushi bar. The only issue with location is that the parking is a pain in the buns sometimes — it’s located in Montgomery Plaza and that’s a pretty popular place for restaurants and such. The lot can get crowded — especially on weekend evenings — and you may have to hike a ways to get to the restaurant. Anyway, I recommend giving this place a try. :)

I’ve been to two different Sushi Axiom’s and this location is definitely my favorite. The one in Burleson is nice inside, okay service, good food, but this one on W. 7th is worlds better. It’s right in the middle of everything, it’s beautiful, the sushi is amazing, and we’ve always had great service. I can’t recall all the rolls I’ve tried at the moment but they’ve all been great! Definitely give Sushi Axiom a try, you’ll love it!

Been to axiom so much and hands down def my favorite sushi restaurant! My favorite roll is the what’s up roll, I love the wasabi cream, the spice level is the first thing I look for in sushi. Cherry blossom another favorite, has 4 – 5 different sauces, very flavor full. Spicy tuna nacho as an appetizer is perfect, mixture of an Asian and Hispanic fusion. Spicy tuna salad is huge! I am a spicy tuna snob. And spicy tuna roll at axiom is the hottest I ever had, definitely met my match!

I’d been here once before but was turned off by their lack of a happy hour and hadn’t been back, until my friend dragged me out one night. I’m so, so happy that she did. The place itself is very cool inside — dark, kind of giving it the upscale atmosphere it deserves. We sat at the sushi bar(staring into pieces of salmon sashimi only made me even hungrier) and she recommended the sushi boat for two. For $ 40, you get 2 pieces of each salmon, tuna, white tuna, and yellowtail nigiri, 4 pieces of both peppered tuna and cajun salmon sashimi, and a 7th Street roll, all beautifully decorated on a giant wooden boat. You’ll also get two cups of miso soup to warm you up before the glorious feast. I’ve only ever had sushi as high quality as this maybe once or twice before — the sashimi literally melted in my mouth. Both I and my friend preferred the cajun salmon over the tuna, but honestly they were both incredible. The 7th Street roll was delicious, just a little spicy and loaded with crab. I think we each got 4 pieces. For $ 20 a person, I thought this was a steal. You get to sample all sorts of different things off the menu(which is a bonus for me since I always have trouble deciding on only one roll when I’m at any sushi joint). I was absolutely stuffed(and happy) after finishing my half of the boat, so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth out of it. If you and a friend feel like entering a delicious, sushi-driven food coma, come here and get the Boat for Two — you won’t regret it.

This location is WAYYY better than the other location in Fort Worth. I was so disappointed with the other location, but this one has redeemed the Sushi Axiom name. Items Ordered — 1. Bento box — This lunch bento box is SUCH a good deal. You get large pieces of salmon sashimi, I think 6 pieces of nigiri, and a California roll. The fish was fresh, and the portions were generous. 2. Shrimp tempura roll — I love shrimp tempura rolls, but this was a disappointment. 3. Salmon tower — this salmon tower was very tasty, but pretty small. This is such a great place for lunch. I’ll probably be a regular here.
