After having been multiple more times to this little taco joint, I must say I am impressed with it. I usually don’t go for the tacos, but for the quesadilla con chorizo, which is simply divine! Also, I love their green, minty sauce — simply yum! And their micheladas, while not excellent, are good. Given the price, Salsa Limon is hard to beat!

This review is based on the terrible customer service I received on Tuesday evening. It was a carry out order. I called it in around 6:15& was told it would be ready in 20 min. The young lady on the phone seemed to have a hard time understandiing my English. I apologized for not speaking Spanish, mentioned my husband was Puerto Rican & I need to learn to speak it. Not sure if any of this has any influence on my the service I received. When I arrived, there were 3 tables filled inside &2 couples outside, no line for tables. My order wasn’t ready. Had to place it again, Again repeat any food items, this was confusing to me & the young lady Indealt with had an attitude & rolled her eyes. My instinct was to leave, but my husband loves the food here. We just moved to Ft Worth a month ago. He’s been here 2 times & ordered without a problem. My order was incorrect & I forgot a few litems because I was upset. We won’t be going to Salsa Limon anymore. Fort Worth is one of the friendliest cities I have ever been to in my life. Happy to be here.

The taco was good. The rice and retried beans were good. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t horrible either. For $ 6, a taco and rice and beans, is not shabby.

Another Salsa Limon location and I’m thrilled! Some of the best tacos in town. My family can’t get enough of this place.

Some of my favorite tacos in Fort Worth. El capitan is my personal favorite but the burritos here are also delicious. I would recommend asada(steak) for both. Rice and beans are also delicious. The food truck is open late but doesn’t serve breakfast, although they are opening a restaurant on the nearby strip that will presumably serve breakfast as well.

I would definitely go back! The beef lengua taco is delicious and the lengua is just succulent and melts in your mouth. It’s a Quant little spot. Perfect for lunch break. Food comes out fast but quality does not lack of the speed!

Okay, I hardly ever post reviews –BUT my last experience w this vendor left me disgusted. I ordered street tacos w rice and beans and a glass coke. When I brought my food home and opened the tacos, I noticed pubic hair in the tacos. It was as if someone had placed them in the taco as a garnish. Disgusting!!! The prepared was wearing a net and you could tell they were placed on top. Not accidentally cooked w the food. NEVER again.

Burritos were amazing and HUGE! If you go to the university location, you can enjoy a mimosa or beer while you wait for your order. It’s a great concept and a fun place to eat.

Obsessed with their El Capitan taco, the tortilla was toasted to perfection! Their pickled cabbage is addicting as well! Yum yum yum.

After paying $ 16 for two beef burritos,(yes, $ 8 each!) I expected to have at the very least a lot of meat but no, each one had no more than 10 little squares of meat and the rest was rice and beans. No flavor either. First and last time.

Wow just had some fantastic breakfast tacos at the restaurant location. What a great way to warm up on a winter morning. The food was well prepared, wonderfully seasoned and not too heavy or oily. The restaurant itself had a fun, chill vibe to it and was very clean. I tried all 4 salsa and they are not kidding with the spiciest one. Well done, Salsa Limon, well done.

This little good truck makes some of the best and most reasonably priced Mexican food in the fort. $ 3 tacos or Elcapitan style. Quick and friendly service, convenient location.

One of the best taco places in Fort Worth. Their pull pork tacos are on point! You also have to get their hot sauce but be careful though, the mild one is good enough for most people the hot may be too much.

Love everything about this place! We have friends visit quite often and Salsa Limon always had the winning tacos after they try out all the other taco trucks. Pastor, barbacoa, lengua… it’s all delicious.

I recently attended an all day conference at the Verizon Theatre and was not looking forward to leaving for lunch. To my surprise Salsa Limon Truck was serving lunch in the parking lot and the line was stretched out from the parking lot, up the stairs and nearly into the building(they weren’t the only food truck there). I had to know why everyone was lined up for Salsa Limon so I got in line. I ordered two chicken and one beef taco loaded with avocado and cheese. The prices were reasonable although not as cheap as some of the other street tacos I’ve had before. The tacos are made to order and loaded with goodness. The meat flavoring good(not the best I’ve had but good). Overall the experience was good and I’m in the vicinity I would definitely try it again. Tip! I was visiting Fort Worth the next day and stumbled upon the restaurant(bearing the same name).

This is definitely one of the food trucks you have to check out. It’s geared towards the college crowd, hence why they are located near several bars. I had a hankering for some al pastor tacos, and this place delivered a solid mouthgasm punch. The price isn’t too bad either, but would like to see more on the tacos. I didn’t get a chance to try out their flour tortilla taco they’re supposedly known for, but it was worth the trip nonetheless.

Call this 3.5 stars, but not quite 4. A friend and I tried a taco each from Salsa Limon at the Fort Worth Food Park today, taking them«with everything»(translation: onion, cilantro and cabbage). Most of the tacos were pretty authentic Mexican fare(small, doubled white corn tortillas, traditional toppings), but the pastor wasn’t terribly inspired. It seemed like it had been carved long ago and sat in a warming tray. I know it’s probably difficult(if not impossible) to do authentic spit-cooked pastor in a food truck, but I’d still hope for something with a little more pop. Still, the tacos were serviceable and not your typical gringo targeted food(I’m looking at you, Fuzzy’s). Give ‘em a try if you see their truck around.

I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this place. These are simply some of the best street tacos in Fort Worth. Easily in the top 5. They are very authentic and they are an extension of their mothership restaurant located in La Gran Plaza mall on Seminary near the cinema. Go there if you’d like to explore the depth of their menu. They rotate some of those things here on the food truck and they’ve recently added breakfast tacos to the mix. Don’t be confused with the baja tacos at the recognizable and popular joint across the street that serves up baja fish tacos with feta cheese. Mexican street tacos are soft corn tortillas with the most flavorful of meats along with slaw and a nice white sauce, onions, cilantro, salsas to choose from, and maybe some queso fresco(which is so much better than feta). Great prices here too. Try it and you’ll become addicted!
