I had such high hopes for this place. It has some of my favorite restaurant features: affable staff, «hidden gem» vibe, and it has the hope of being vegetarian friendly. Sadly, though, the food just wasn’t very good. Service was welcoming and attentive, but the food lacked flavor. The lentil soup tasted(and looked) like water, olive oil, and dirt. And it was served with what tasted like frozen Texas toast. I might give this place another shot, and I hope next time it’s less bland.

Fort Worth! You should visit this quaint little spot where a Lebanese family of man, wife, and 5 daughters create their livelihood through delicious, authentic, affordable food. They have very healthy options as well. Each day they post their feature, fresh, soup-of-the-day on FB. Last night, owner Joseph told me today’s was going to be a traditional, vegetarian, lentil/rice/nuts/yogurt soup! Support local food! chicken schwarma sandwich with traditional garlic/parsley potatoes— Delicious. oh! And I’ve visited Beirut and the menu is exactly what I had in Beirut, only better!

This was our second visit here and we will definitely be regulars! Qana is more than amazing food… It is an experience. The spices and flavors are so unique and wonderful and the food looks as good as it tastes. The spiced tea and Turkish coffee are excellent… Both times we have been here we have ended up getting almost everything on the menu… It is all so good it is just too hard to choose. You can’t go wrong with the sampler platter though. The owners are so warm and inviting and always make you feel like you are eating a meal in someone’s home… And the atmosphere is wonderful. You feel so comfortable and relaxed and we always end up staying for hours.

This feels like home, definitely not a fancy restaurant. We ordered the sampler platter and chicken kabobs. Everything was wonderful. The flavors and freshness were outstanding. The family owns, operates, cooks, and serves, and they are kind and friendly, very happy to serve you and talk with you. Can’t wait to go back, and often!

My husband brought takeout from here the other night & let me just say this place is GOOD!!! everything is fresh & homemade and absolutely delicious. We had hummus, kofta, chicken shwarma, fries, pita. All their sauces are very yummy(especially love that chili sauce!) and everything was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this little hole In the wall. Also, super affordable! We had tons of food for about $ 17!

Adorable spot for good Lebanese food. My family is Lebanese, so I like to check out restaurants of the type. I got the kibbeh, yogurt, and some mate just for fun. I wasn’t disappointed! I also can’t overemphasize how friendly and welcoming the staff was. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Love it!

We tried this place out yesterday. It really hit the spot! Nice cozy vibe, which was great on a rainy day. The patio is cute too. We got a wide variety of things– I had the chai latte, turnip and potato soup and dolmas and my boyfriend had the kofta plate. It was all really good! I really loved the chai and they give you a whole little teapot full. The baklava was the best we’ve had anywhere. We’ll definitely be back to try more. Wonderful food at a great value with very friendly service.

Fresh and incredible small café with great service! Their hummus and tabouli is the perfect appetizer and the falafel sandwich was filling and delicious. Their hot tea is perfectly spiced and baklava oozes with honey. We can’t recommend this place enough!

I wanted to like Qana– I really did– its so affordable and mere minutes from my house. We started with their highly spiced tea which was wonderful but sadly the tea was the only thing we had that had ANY flavor at all. We tried the sampler platter which included falafel, dolmas, babagnoush, hummus, and kibbi along with pickled turnips. I will say the dolmas were good and not bitter at all. However, everything else tasted like the whitey version of food I have come to love because it’s so very heavily spiced with amazing flavors. No such flavors at Qana. If you are used to Hedarys– u will be as sadly disappointed as we were. The service was excellent– food came out quickly-something you don’t always get at Hedarys… But I’d wait hours for the food there. Qiana’s offerings were all done well except for the flavor– there were just None. Maybe the folks they serve want watered down no flavor version– maybe they prefer not to be wowed by the flavors typical of Mediterranean foods– some people can’t handle the unique and wonderful spices– so if u don’t want to be wowed– Qiana’s would be a good choice– it’s cute– nice folks running it and all– but I prefer true middle eastern fare — and you just won’t find it at Qanas. Ps after our visit we killed a few minutes and then went to Hedarys at 5pm when they open– and ordered $ 70 of food to go– we had our mouths set on good Mediterranean food and refused to be denied. And after ordering we returned 40 minutes later picked up our food and were thrilled to wait and to pay and then enjoy. We actually considered bringing a sample to Qanas. We did decide we might return for a smoothie or some of their more American type food. Still hoping to like this place.

Oh wow. I had the soup of the day that was veggies and beef, then a salad to go with it. Amazing place, he picked the fresh herbs out of the garden right in front of me. I love this place plus great prices.

What a great place with a nice selection of foods, soups, salads and deserts. They also have different coffees which are delightful. This is a family run business with excellent service. They also have a very comfortable atmosphere and want you to feel like your at home relaxing. If you’re into Hookah they have a nice deck outside which also looks very relaxing.

This place is great! I had both the espresso and Turkish coffee. They are both amazing. I will have to try each again, before deciding on a favorite. The service is impeccable. The owners are very personable. I went with a friend my first time. I will definitely be taking my wife back, for date night. Next time I will be sure to not eat before, so I can try some food. It looked delicious.

Just enjoyed a delicious chicken shishkabab with amazing seasoned rice. The dish had skewers of grilled peppers and cherry tomatoes! Even the pickled onions were delicious! We met the owner Joseph, he was so hospitable, friendly and kind. He chatted with us and even gave my friend and I a free round of AWESOME(and strong) Turkish coffee. It was so delightful to feel the warmth of this place, we will definitely be back! Prices are reasonable and the food is high quality, authentic, and delectable. HIGHLY recommended.

Great place. The staff was amazingly attentive to anything that was needed. They were friendly and talkative. It is clean. There is plenty of space to sit. They also serve hookah in the outside deck. It was well looked after and they don’t use quick lights. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a place to relax after a long day, or even study.

Love this place. The owners are attentive and care very much about the quality of the food and service. Great food, great coffee. Calm atmosphere with an at-home feel. Highly recommended. Oh yes, if you are craving a middle-eastern food item that is not on the menu, just ask — they can often can make it for you! There is also a nice shaded patio out front.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots to eat, to camp out and work and to kill hours reading a book. The food is incredibly good, made fresh with lots of love and talent. My favorites are the falafel and the cucumber salad, which is made with homemade yogurt. Whether you are a meat eater or a vegetarian like me, there are lots of delicious options. The coffee and tea are excellent, too. Expertly brewed. And the husband and wife who own and operate it are great company on a slow day. I haven’t tried the hookah aspect but I bet they know what they’re doing there, too.

This was a nice little surprise! Saw them renovating this building for a really long time and couldn’t quite believe that a restaurant was going in that space but we went today and loved it. First, the service was outstanding. The owner and his wife were so so sweet to us and even though they didn’t have tons of vegetarian items on the menu, they had PLENTY to offer. We had tabbouleh and I really enjoyed it when I generally find it too pungent. It had a kick no doubt but was pleasantly flavored and well balanced. We then each had a falafel plate which was amazing! Again, perfect balance on the falafel, excellent hummus and pita bread and a wonderful sauce. We also had an off menu item of lentils and rice with some grilled onions on top and that was also killer. He brought us some homemade yogurt to try as well and I don’t usually eat yogurt but I loved it! We shared rice pudding for dessert and it came out of a mold with some sweet sauce on top and some toasted almonds. Super yummy! Lastly, I have to mention the iced tea. I don’t know what was different about it but it was so so delicious I could have had 6 glasses. I seriously may just stop in tomorrow for an iced tea! Can’t wait to try more. This is definitely a place we hope to visit again. The kindness and warmth of the owners made a good meal a wonderful experience.
