I purchased my room on Expedia. I was under the impression that my room had a microwave and fridge in it, but when we arrived it did not. I upgraded to a room that did for $ 11.50 for the two nights I was there. The hotel looks a little old. The small pool is outside, we did not swim since it was pretty windy and chilly outside. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was not all that, it was very basic. They are located in the middle of all these retail stores and restaurants so it looks hidden. It is not a big hotel, like most la quintas I’ve stayed at.

This was my worst hotel experience ever. I travel between Phoenix, AZ and Dallas, TX every few months. I frequently stay at La Quinta Inns. I like the fact that the rooms are similar in all the Inns. It creates a feeling of familiarity. Last night I registered at this La Quinta and was given, I believe, room 110. The bed was very comfortable but I was unable to sleep because of the nonstop noise and commotion. I waited until after midnight in hopes that it would stop, but when it didn’t I went to the front desk to let the staff know what I was experiencing. The desk clerk told me that the noise was understandable since my room was right behind a club. «That explains the thumping music», I said, «but not the drunks banging doors and the children running up and down the halls.» I was told that the hotel had a special event booked and that the noise was to be expected. I responded that I’d never been in a hotel so noisy. I can’t remember the clerk’s response verbatim, but the upshot was that I must not be a very experienced traveler and must never have stayed in a hotel with an event. I assured him that he was mistaken. I said that since I couldn’t sleep I would leave the hotel and find another place to stay. I was belatedly informed that there were some other rooms available on the third floor, but since I was made to feel like a hick, I chose to go elsewhere. I feel that my expectation of getting sleep in a hotel is not an unreasonable one. However, I realize that my $ 150 was probably nothing compared to the money brought in by the people drinking beer in the lobby. — After I complained in writing, the general manager let me know that this is, yes, a noisy hotel. They are next door to a night club and they host large groups such as people attending the rodeo. She assured me that I was«not charged in any way». I appreciate the fact that I don’t have to pay for a few hours in which I wasn’t able to sleep and was treated disrespectfully. —- Eccentric British Gentleman Sits by His Cozy Fireplace and Reads Unilocal Review Aloud:

We had an awesome two night stay at this hotel. It was clean and quite. Accepting of pets as well. We will be back.

Arrived at midnight after a long drive to have the uneducated, barely literate desk girl tell me they didn’t have my room that had been prepaid for. Even showing her the confirmation number, she was unhelpful. Still waiting in the parking lot trying to resolve the issue! Unhelpful and unorganized. Don’t waste your time or money on these scam artists.

Wife hosting book club so my son and I tried to get out of the house. Fort Worth booked with Texas Motor Speedway attendees and finally got in here. Room a bit small front desk helpful over phone and when arrived. I called to complain about noise down the hall and even though Chana was the only one on duty during busy night, issue was taken care of in 5min. I would come again.

I stayed here in December, 2009. The front desk was helpful when I asked for additional coffee for the morning(those little coffee pots make about 2 good cups of coffee). The location is really great – this place is close to anything you might need: Restaurants, fast food, grocery store, liquor store(!), a huge Target, and a mall. Easy access to IH-20. Always great to have the«we allow pets» policy. I recently joined La Quinta’s Rewards program, which really does reward you with free rooms pretty quickly. Things were very clean and nice. Keep in mind that this is La Quinta – not the Four Seasons.
