This is the first review I’ve ever written and typically I care nothing about sharing information about my stay somewhere or what I ate, but lately I’ve found reviews hard to trust, so I’m trying to be as helpful to the next person as I can. Also, I’m writing for average people, people that expect perfection in everything they have or do will not agree with my reviews as I can be much easier to please, but I do believe in quality service and getting what you paid for, so with that being said I believe that the employees at this holiday inn have been paying attention to the reviews written about it, and that is why I would first like to tell you about breakfast. There was an abundance of choices; pancakes, sausage, bacon, real eggs(not the square powder ones), biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, bagels and all the fixings you could want. There was a very friendly woman that had put breakfast out and seemed to take pride in her work. The thing of most importance to me is feeling clean and refreshed in my room and they delivered. The bed was comfortable, the carpet was clean as well as the bathroom, and lots of TV selections. In conclusion, this was a great hotel for its price. I’ll stay here for future visits.

I personally love HI. No, it’s’s not a Hyatt Regency or a Marriott but you don’t pay that price either. This hotel was clean, quite, and very close to many restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfortable and then there’s the free breakfast. You can’t go wrong staying here. That said, I gave them 3 stars because the internet is useless. If you need to or plan on doing anything on line, this is not the place.

We just stayed there yesterday and it was the worst Holiday Inn we’ve ever stayed at!!! I get they can’t do much about the construction site working at 7am right in front of the hotel, so if you can handle the drilling noise, loud«pings» from hitting steel, and bulldozers, then you should be just fine there. The room we got stuck with was literally two steps away from the elevator, all we heard throughout the night were people laughing and talking outside our door, the elevator bell and doors opening and closing all night long. But the real kicker was during breakfast, there was absolutely no regard or curtesy to customers. We were told breakfast ended at 9:30. We got there at 9:05 and the employee was already putting the food away. And even proceeded to continue to put away the food while we were still serving ourselves, she never bother to ask if anyone wanted to take some of what she was putting away. I made a comment my child to «Hurry up and get whatever she wanted bc it seemed breakfast had ended early», and the employee didn’t get the comment or just didn’t care and proceeded to put everything away like there was no one else there. Another couple got there a couple of minutes after we did, and were only able to get a few things as well. The lady in the other party asked for butter and the employee continued to put things away, I told her the butter was in the mini fridge, come to find out the employee had already locked it. I made a comment to the other customer that it wasn’t even 9:30 and the employee went to the kitchen to get her a pat of butter. Also, one of the condiments I had for my toast was opened when I got it, and didn’t notice it until I went to «open» it, I commented to my child about it and I’m pretty sure the employee heard me because she immediately dropped the trash bag full of food by the kitchen entrance and went into the kitchen and NEVER came back out. And all of this happened before 9:30, and by then everything was wiped clean and there was not one single thing out. I was going to mention this when I checked out and to my surprise, the clerk at the desk didn’t bother to ask how our stay was, I’m sure I wasn’t the only DISSATISFIEDCUSTOMER.(She only gave me the robotic«b’bye now»). At this point I’d had enough of their very poor customer service, I wanted to be on my way than to spend another minute there. We are traveling from one side of the country to the other, we’ve only been staying at Holiday Inns and this by far is the worst one of all.

What to do when you’re in town for the Christmas period and you don’t want to spend a week sleeping on the couch at your in-laws? Spend some of those hard earned points and stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Clean rooms, friendly staff, free wifi and breakfast every day. It’s just like a home away from home. Plus, you get a little quality time away from the extended family… I felt the need to edit my review at the end of my stay. Everything was perfect for the few first days, but they really started dropping the ball towards the end of the visit. It seems like they do well when the hotel is empty, but really struggle when it gets busy. This was particularly noticeable in the food service areas such as breakfast and coffee — looks like poor planning meant they were running out of supplies and not replenishing them.

Nice Hotel. Spa tub in room was awesome and did wonders for my back. Staff was ok. Breakfast sucked. Lots of choices but the choice of taste was yuck! Lots of TV choices which was really nice. Would stay here again but eat at IHop.
