Daiquiri Daddi Cafe

I have been dying for an affordable daiquiri place in FW, was told about this place from a coworker and decided to check it out a few weeks ago. I went 3 nights in a row last week! (Not exactly proud of that but just goes to show how awesome it is!!) The daiquiris are fantastic and strong enough that you aren’t just drinking sugar and the chicken and fries were absolutely delicious! You need to check this place out, shoot I’ll probably be there when you go.

I absolutely love this spot and the energy the staff has. Went yesterday for my best friend’s get together and all I could think was «I’m so coming back». Upon arrival we were met with appealing glowing blue lights and could hear music before we opened the door. I recall the birthday girl asking her sister who recommended the spot «Is this a club or a daiquiri shoppe?.
The food was flavorful and the fries were fresh and seasoned. The young lady that took our order served us and it arrived in a timely manner. The décor reminded me of New Orleans and the food selection cemented the feel due to the robust flavor. The art displayed is comical and honest displaying a character that resembles Chef off of south park. The music was a pleasant mix of nostalgic and present and no singles repeated during our two hour sit. The laughter and claps were enough to encourage the designated driver (myself) to dance. The location couldn’t be more perfect being in the same parking lot as an observable movie theater and various restaurants. (A lot of «the» but bear with me) If it is your birthday and you go to this location you’re in for a real treat as well as your company which put a grin on my friend’s face that didn’t leave until we got her home. The emotion this positively charged environment nurtured was amazing and the prices were so affordable I myself was surprised. Mainly my surprise was due to the generous about of liquor they provide that was masked under true to their name flavors. My favorite is their cotton candy and when I say it was smooth and sweet give it a try and thank me later.
I’d be doing a disservice if I didn’t mention the cons which still wasn’t enough to render a four star rating.
Being a new business it is understandable that certain things were not present and if the location isn’t owned it’s likely due to restrictions. That being said I didn’t like that there was no outside seating and the shoppe is relatively cozy considering the amount of customers that, like my group, would like to sit and sip and enjoy the food fresh from the chef. I think there can be more mardi gras themed decorations to bring home the feel forgivable for a new business. I also feel the music was a bit too loud but considering the awesome party to the right of us it was clear they were catering to the guest of honor last night.
All in all this place is definitely one I could see growing and I have no doubt that they’ll be around for some time to be a safe place for adults to let loose a bit and enjoy the company of an array of ages as the laughter and dancing is balanced with music of new and old humming in the background. I hope this review was helpful to someone not sure if it’s worth the trip but ohh man what an honor I feel to be one of the first to shine some light on this hulen bend pearl.

It’s a cute little spot with a dj and seating for a come and go drink or two. Although the options are limited right now, what they have will satisfy and piqué your tastebuds. I opted for the peach daiquiri after trying that and the orange cream. The drinks are strong and I will definitely be back for a second round.
