Really good food, great value, and the owner and staff are super welcoming. I got the triple plate as I had a long work day and was really hungry. I am now stuffed. Also, I’m lactose intolerant and they helped me go through and find the items that worked for me. Any time work brings me to the area, I will come back.

Soooooo good! When you walk in, you will drool because everything smells amazing. And everyone is VERY nice. When you start to order — you pick which naan you want(garlic or plain) and they throw it in to cook fresh. Their food has great flavor! The gobi aloo is extremely delicious and the rogan josh is totally worth the extra charge for the lamb. Everything has so much flavor — it’s wonderful! Make sure to get a mango lassi as a dessert or to cool down from the heat of the rogan josh! :-) Just a disclaimer — parking kind of sucks in this center… So just bypass the little lot directly in front of the restaurants unless you see a spot… So much easier to just walk across from the other lot.

Update: this place is still awesome. Reasonably priced and yummy food! The naan is fluffy and delicious. The masala and malai are scrumptious. Overall, I’m one happy customer!

Service was good, friendly owner, food looked decent. However, folks in our party including kids fell ill after eating couple of veggie options. Sorry would not be going back. Edited to reply: Rohit, appreciate the follow up. Yes, the food tasted decent. However, folks who had two specific veggie options were the ones that were impacted.

I didn’t think«Dude, Where’s My Curry» was meant to be literal, but apparently it is. Where the heck is the curry??? I just ordered delivery from here through LA Bite and it was seriously the worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala, which i thought was impossible to mess up, but I was wrong. The sauce is very thin and watery and flavorless. There is very little chicken. Maybe delivery isn’t the way to go, but Natraj seems to do it okay. I guess I’ll stick with them.

Disclaimer– I don’t give compliments easy… But this was the best yummiest chicken tikka masala I’ve had in a really long time! :) this is the kind of cooking that doesn’t make you feel bad in the morning because of all the preservatives or added coloring or flavor enhancers. I discovered this place this week for lunch and had to bring my husband back for dinner to check it out. Disclaimer– we are from South Africa which means like here in Cali has a Mexican influence– tacos everywhere– South Africa has an Indian curry influence… We felt like we were at home! I forget the name of my husbands curry dish– not a name I recognized but This is good stuff! Service– Rohit was very attentive and friendly. I explained my husband couldn’t eat carbs or sugar– he went in the back and made him a quick salad to go with his curry! Ps. The naan is super yummy, even my picky eater dog snagged half of mine !!

I have never eaten real Indian curry before, but I must say I am pleased. Right away, the employees made me feel welcome. They explained that I could choose between 1,2, or 3 curries accompanied by rice and naan bread. I am a vegetarian and was happy to see that half of the menu was available to me. The man working kept encouraging me to try samples of the different curries. I tried the Chana masala(garbanzo beans, brown in color) and the gobi alu(cauliflower and potatoes with turmeric and tomato, yellow in color). Both were very flavorful but distinct. I ended up getting both and was very happy with my choice. I was given the option to add spice but opted out. The naan bread was made fresh for ME. It had not been sitting around and was warm and sweet. Parking in this area can be hard to come by if you go right at lunch time, but it’s not too bad if you need to park a little further. All in all, a very good lunch.

This place is very awesome for my diet. Unfortunately I have been stuck with having to eat gluten free but that’s totally alright because Indian food is godlike. I have been eating here for months now and I have had no exposures to gluten and they keep their Naan station separated from the rest of their food and the employees always wash their hands before approaching the food. So to all my sloth-like brethren, take the trip from you tree and put down the apples once in awhile cause this place is completely worth the effort.

I went with a group of 5 of us, and between us all we were able to sample a lot of the food they offer. For it being fast food, it’s delicious. The curries are aromatic and the spices that go into them are delightful. Our favorites were the Chicken Malai, the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Madras(earthy and spicy, yum!). The garlic naan was made to order and the consistency was great! I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area and craving Indian food. The staff is courteous and I love that you can sample everything! The owner talked to our group and is a very down to earth guy.

I love this place! I don’t get out for lunch very often and I choose this place everytime. My go to meal: Garlic Naan Funky Rice Rogan Josh(I think this is the spiciest option on the menu. Don’t get it if you’re a coward) If you are someone who enjoys Indian food you won’t be disappointed. If you have never tried Indian food and you’re curious I highly recommend this place. They will take the time to explain the food and let you try before you buy. Seriously the best customer service I’ve experienced in a fast-dining environment.

I hate to drop this place a bad review because everyone seems to be loving it, but my first visit wasn’t too impressive. I will say the staff was super friendly and helpful in guiding me to make a decision, though the overall quality of food left a bit to be desired. This is not unlike Panda Express in that all the food is in containers, behind glass, and you just sort of choose what looks best. To me, it just looked like the same thing in different colors. Again, the guy behind the counter was fully willing to identify each and help me pick out what I’d like. I make a couple of selections and got some garlic naan to go along with the meal. The naan is made fresh and tasted great. It was easily the highlight of the meal. As for the entrees, well, I feel like there wasn’t enough chicken in the scoops I got. They were mostly made up of thick sauce and veggies. One dish I got, can’t remember the name, was ultra spicy too. I like hot food but this was on another level, which is maybe my own fault for ordering it. I might give this place another shot to see if my opinion changes, but with other good Indian options nearby I don’t know how likely that may be.

So we were looking for some good Indian restaurant after our 4 hour hike to the Red Rock Canyon and this place popped up in Unilocal. The name caught my attention for sure ‘dudeeee’ lol. Since this was close to where we were, we went there to check out the place. Ambiance I think the best way to describe this place is an Indian Subway. You pick the number of curries you would like(one two or three, spice level). They have everything prepared and prepare your combo. They have seating inside and outside. On a good Socal day outdoor seating would be the obvious choice. They don’t have the stereotypical instrumental music from 90’s playing on loop ! Well at least till now. The Food Loved– the mango lassi ! The best I can remember I have had. Hands down go for it. Haven’t tasted anything close to it in India too. No waiting ! Just walk in pick and eat. The portions are huge !! Be prepared to leave satisfied. Prices are very reasonable. Liked– Garlic naan, chicken tikka masala was good. Meh– Rajma was okay my wife loved it so maybe it was just me. Overall the best thing I liked about the place was there was no waiting time for food. You can walk in and out in 5 min with your food. The owner is also very warm and cheerful person, he greeted us when we went there, always a nice thing. I would go there if I am a rush and need some Indian food quick. It’s a good option for youngsters, students and people who are in rush and need something quick. Four stars from me for quick service and being light on pocket !

Found this place on Unilocal, it’s a GREAT place. Was very impressed. The food was super fresh. Garlic nan was to die for. Vegetable curry was fantastic. Loved how you could order each dish of curry with one of 6 different levels of hotness, ranging from mild to fiery hot. Was greeted by the owner, who is a fun guy! Will definitely return here… it’s about a 30 min drive from my house, and I will drive here expressly for this place. Next time, I’m going to try the homemade pistachio ice cream

The awesome name alone is what got me really interested in checking out this place. A group of coworkers and I decided to come here for lunch. There were about 10 of us. When we all walked in the owner came up to us to explain the menu and offered samples of anything we wanted to try before we decided what we wanted. He also took our naan orders while in line so he could get those going for us while we all decided and ordered. The owner is a really nice guy who really cares about providing great customer service. He checked on us after we got our food to make sure everything was good. I had the tikka masala and garlic naan. The tikka was very tasty and had really good flavor. I loved the garlic naan. The portion is huge too so you can take half home for later. I found that the 1 selection portion was more than enough for me, but if you want to try a couple different things get the 2 or 3 item combo and just have the leftovers for later :) We’ve gone back here a couple times since that first lunch visit and the owner has always been super friendly and accommodating when we have a bigger group. I’m sure we will be back again soon!

First of all, what a sickass name for a business. I love it. Second of all, food is delicious, despite it being«fast food.» In my book, it isn’t fast food at all, because you can tell that so much love and passion that goes into the food. Dude, Where’s My Curry has the same setup as Chipotle, in my eyes — you tell them what you want and there’s an assembly line type of deal. The 2 times I’ve been here, I’ve gotten the option where you get 2 sides, a choice of rice, and naan. I feel like that’s a good enough portion to feed me for both lunch and dinner! And for the naan — you can choose regular or garlic — choose garlic because it’s absolutely amazing! I love all things garlic, so this was just right up my alley. Owner and staff are super friendly, made me feel just at home. When my bf and I were checking out, the owner came out saw that we had also purchased their mango drink and recommended adding a bit of vodka in. I wasn’t able to as I finished the entire drink before I got home. Oops, next time! I definitely recommend this place, especially if you work near here. I just wish I worked closer to here so I can stop by for lunch on days that I’m craving some bomb Indian food.

I guess I hit Dude’s on an off day with my last review, but very happy to say their quality is right where it normally is after tonight’s dinner. Tasty sauce, tender meat, plentiful and topped with great naan. I love this place and glad to be able to get such good food so close to home. I highly recommend trying the amazing curries here at Dude’s and say hi to Rohit when you stop in.

Unilocal challenge 2015. 108⁄365 Dude…for point and chose style food, this place is pretty good. You pick your rice, you pick how many meats and then decide on garlic or plain Naan bread. If your food is not spicy enough, they can sprinkle something on top to turn up the heat. Located off Portolla Parkway between the Sbux and Wahoos. Parking is tricky due to all the Mountain bikers that utilize the lot as a drop off. Service is friendly. I sampled almost all the chicken dishes from mild to hot and spicy before deciding on the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Curry. The serving size to me was plenty. Not sure why people disagree. Neither one of us finished our meals. The garlic naan was just okay. Could of used a little more butter and a few seconds less in the Tandori oven since ours was on the crispy side. Fountain drinks include self serve Coke products, pink lemonade and unsweetened tea. Ice was not in place yet since they barely opened the door. My other only complaint is the way they package and present their food. The to go boxes should be deeper, that way the sauces dont ooze over the sides, leaking into the bag, making a big old mess. So be Real careful when taking it with you. Handle it with caution holding it from the bottom of the box. Besides better food presentation means better photo opportunities for us foodies. Instead of a box full of a hot mess. $ 20 or less to feed 2 of us. We are fans. Review # 607
