The service for a Saturday night was slow. There were around 20 people at the time. The chips were broken and the salsa was bland. The staff seems friendly, but unhappy to be at work. The salt and condiments are dirty and sticky. These need to be wiped down everyday as a side job for the serving staff, and makes me wonder what else is not being cleaned daily. The dirty plates stack up on the table and you need to hand them to the waitress as she goes by. The steak flautas came out burnt to a crisp. We sent it back and got a plate that was devoid of the sides, so we had to order that, too. Then we got charged for a side salad that we didn’t order to replace the plate they took back to the kitchen. I was reimbursed for the salad. My la tapitia burrito was nothing special. It was not very flavorful but i ate it anyway. It took a very long time to get any hot water in the men’s room. I hate to slam a place, especially on my first time there. That’s why I am giving two stars. I may try again in the future, but there are better Mexican restaurants in the area.

Menu was a little was a bit misleading. Rice and beans were in the burrito rather than on the side. Pink Cadillac Margarita was awesome according to my wife.

Dingy, cheap Mexican fare. Floor was super greasy. Throws me off when floors are greasy cause it makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Nothing seemed authentic. Hit mazatlan for good Mexican food.

Great Tex-Mex style Mexican food. Good flavors well developed. I’ve tried all the Mexican restaurants in the Fond du Lac area in the past month. This is one of two that I can recommend. The cheese steak was delicious with well carmelized onions. Burrito Jalisco had shredded pork filling that had been simmered a long time to bring out the flavor. I will be back.
