Decided to go here to watch the Preakness race and get a bite to eat. No one approached us when we came in so we had to seat ourselves. Eventually the hostess brought us menus. The waitress walked by us several times and never said a word to us until the hostess mentioned to her that she needed to take care of us. We asked for TWO waters along with a drink for one of us and for the other drink when food was on the table. We got one drink and ONE water. I asked to bring the other water and extra napkins. We then ordered a bowl of soup with TWO spoons, we got our soup with ONE spoon and never got the second water nor the extra napkins. So fortunately when the runner brought the soup, he quickly got us the other spoon, the other water and the extra napkins. The waitress walked past us several times and never once asked if we needed anything, if our soup was okay or thought about all the stuff she never brought to our table. She never brought the other drink, so eventually we told the hostess to cancel it. That’s when the waitress walked over and said that the bartender was making the drink. It’s amazing that unless the hostess gets this waitresses attention that then do we get attention. Mind you, there were maybe three tables taken in this entire place that this girl had to tend to. We ordered dinner and had to ask the hostess for a bread basket and that was eventually brought out. When the runner brought our food, not once while we were eating did the waitress come by our table and check on us. BUT when it was time to pay our bill, this girl TRISH was non-stop about passing by to see if we were ready for her to take it. UNFORTUNATELY, my olé’ man does not believe in skimping on the tip when the waitress SUCKS, instead we just won’t ever go back to Jameson’s.

Always consistently good-I have been here more times than I can remember and have yet to experience a clunker. Menu is filled with solid comfort food-Chicken Pot Pie always a winner. The real value are in the specials, always something of interest every night. Seasonal specials like pumpkin ravioli in the fall definitely rock.

My wife and I have eaten at Jameson’s 3 times and each time has been bad… today we finally learned our lesson and will not be coming back. The buffalo wings were very dry, the nachos were made as if they were rationing their beans and had too much jalapeños and cheese. Finally, the chicken salad was dry and tasteless, unless you count the taste of burnt chicken which was charred black on both sides. The worst part, everything was extremely overpriced. $ 14 and up for almost everything on the menus. I’m fine paying more for good quality food, but they don’t fit the bill.

Well worth the trip! I love simple pubs and pub fare, nothing fancy, just a decent beer selection and decent food. Jameson’s is one of those places I’ve past for a few years now but never stopped in. Tonight’s the night, I’m going in! My wife and I stopped by for a pre-Valentines dinner. As soon as we walked in were greeted by the hostess and manger(possibly the owner). Both were very welcoming and seated us immediately. There was a reasonable crowd for a Saturday night, it’s obvious Jameson’s has a following. It was also nice to see families with younger kids there as well. Not loud or noisy, there were just enjoying their hot dogs and sliders. I like a family friendly pub atmosphere. After perusing the menu and hearing about the specials from our waitress we were ready to order. We chose to start with the Chicken Avacado Spring Roll. It’s something I spotted on there website that looked really tempting. One note though, the website featured two rolls on the plate the true menu item is a single roll. No big deal, just for your awareness. We both enjoyed the roll and the ranch dressing dipping sauce that came with it. There was a whole lot of lettuce on the plate too but I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to make a salad out of that. In any case I would definitely recommend trying the roll. For our main course my wife ordered the Chicken Saltimbuco special. Chicken with procuitto, how can you go wrong? The menu said it comes on a bed on risotto but hers came out on a bed of smashed potatoes. The waitress was quick to fix the mistake and even gave us a complimentary order of risotto to go, thank you. My wife loved the dish and recommends it. I had the Fish, Shrimp, and Chips. It’s served in this really cool dish with a cup of chips(fries) in the basket alongside the fish and shrimp. The serving size was decent and it included a cup of Coke slaw too. I really liked the dish, I’ll be back again for this one. Add on a few Blue Moons on tap and we were set for the night. They did have a very nice looking dessert plate which I will explore further next time. The desserts seemed very popular it’s the tables around us but unfortunately we didn’t have the room for dessert. I really enjoyed our meal at Jameson’s, the atmosphere is nice, the wait staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is well prepared. If you’re in the area this place is definitely worth a stop. Two thumbs up, enjoy!

My friend asked me to meet here. I was planning on just sitting there and waiting for my friend. But the bartender was so friendly and nice I decided to have a beer. Well then I wanted food to go with it. Everything was great especially the service. What a nice place, definitely going back.

This was my second time here. Tonight I ordered a sangria for my drink and the fish, shrimp and chips for dinner. My friend ordered the pumpkin beer and the steak. For dessert we ordered the Skyscraper. All the food was great. My friend said his steak was cooked perfectly. The Skyscraper was amazing. Its all desserts in one tall cake. So good. I will def come back for a third time.

If you order the chicken pot pie, beware, it took 50 minutes to come out. Unfortunately when it came out it was doughy. Sigh.

Do not order the flat bead. It’s not good and a waste of money for what you get, no favor. Do order the chicken avocado egg rolls. They’re delicious. My mom and I could have eaten several plates of them. They’re not really good to share as only two come on the plate. But they’re worth it. The onion soup is great. The staff is nice and the owner makes a point of welcoming people. Nice overall.

The best thing here is the atmosphere and it’s authentic woodsy old time Irish style pub décor. This Floral Park pub in the shadow of the horse track has big city pricing, menza-menza unimpressive food quality and staff who can’t seem to correctly take an order. My group stopped in for a weekday Business dinner and the place was almost empty. So, why did my boneless wings appetizer take twenty minutes to arrive? I can take an educated guess. When the meals came, shortly thereafter, the french fries were so lousy! About as commercial as you get. Is it really that hard to cut a potato and toss it into the fryer? Especially at these city like prices for the bar food grub: i.e. Burgers, Steaks and Steak sandwiches. Each order was overcooked not one cooked correctly. Also, the steak sandwich was awfully bare. Why no sauté’d onions or mushrooms or veggies? Just meat, cheese, bread. Sigh. I wouldn’t return anytime soon. Nice tchotchkes on the walls, though. To use a horse analogy, The chances of my returning are a «Longshot»

Really really great place to hang out and eat with a group. The owner of this place is usually always there greeting and talking to his guest, I love the fact that he makes the experience more personal. He has a lot of frequents, I use to be one when I worked around the area. They have exceptional bar tenders and they have an enormous selection of drinks. I love their wine and sangria. My friends and I order them in pitchers. Aside from the drinks the selections of food is great. Chicken wings, platter combos, italian food selections and burgers. I think over all as a bar/restaurant it overall has great components for those who want to dine(great dining area away from bar) and those who want to drink or both! I love Jameson’s, it’s a great place to hang out :)

This used to be really good but has declined. Got a to go order. Overcooked medium burger. Stale bun. Rubber bacon and soggy fries that were supposed to be well done. Steak salad wilted and barely half full. Sad because the place used to be awesome.

Really, really good place. I can’t say I’ve ever ordered anything from here and not like it. They usually have a price fix menu with some really great choices. They have a lot of really delicious desserts too.

The food at Jameson’s is really good quality. Prices can run somewhat high, every time I go there I spend $ 70 for two people. Love majority of the staff especially Treacy!

Jameson’s is definitely my go-to bar in Floral Park. Great ambience and friendly staff. There is a covered outside area with two big screen tvs that is great when the weather is nice. Food is excellent across the board. The steak tidbit sandwich in particular is delicious, the best one I’ve found yet. The only drawback is that both food and drinks are a little on the pricey side.

Went here right before the kitchen closed and we ordered nachos a crowd pleaser. They were definitely loaded but I wish their were more chips. The bartender did not have a packed house that night but it seemed that they were hard to get our drink orders taken…

Bartenders — most are fun, engaging, and on the spot with drinks. I haven’t been on a Friday or Saturday night, but happy hour and weekends are perfect times. Kelly is my personal favorite. Food — excellent. Rarely have something I wouldn’t recommend. If you want an amazing appetizer, have to try the Chicken & Avocado Spring Rolls — absolutely addicting. I normally get specials for dinner and am always impressed, but some of their traditional menu items like the fish and chips, or burgers are just fine… nothing out of this world, but still good. Atmosphere and ambiance — always a pleasant place to go. Service is frequently pleasant and spot on. There is one waitress that goes beyond nice and pleasant — she is one of the most genuinely nice waitresses I have ever come across. As far as ambiance, it’s somewhat dim-lit and relaxed with a few televisions playing sports in the background in the bar area. During playoffs(football, hockey, etc), it can get pretty loud and exciting in there. What kept me from five is the quality in the variety of food — I’d easily give 4.5. The good is still good, just not 5 stars across the board.

Last night was really a one-star dinner experience for my party of five, but I’m going to be fair because I’ve had 3-star meals and decent happy hour experiences here in the past. First off, we did not receive any bread. This might seem like a minor thing to you, but we noticed other tables got bread as they were sat – and we had to ask for ours, but it still didn’t arrive at the table until the meal was served – 90MIN after we ordered our food! I honestly have no idea how the following items could have taken an hour-and-a-half to cook, but we were really unhappy about it and our waitress neither apologized, nor comp’d desserts nor even offered an explanation for the insane weeknight wait for standard pub food: 3 burgers(2 cooked medium and 1 well-done), broiled salmon and shepherd’s pie. It’s not like the chef was making paella from scratch! the place was not by any means packed. So, WTF Jameson’s?!?
