I am a big fan of the neighborhood pub/tavern and this place seems like the ideal location for it tucked away on the main street of the small town of Stewart Manor. Classic little pub that is cleverly decorated with random items such as a old slot machine, a tricycle and a Rock ‘em Sock ‘em Robots bolted to the ceiling to name a few which gives the place a clean, comfortable, fun look. The bar itself has a few booths which afford some privacy, a jukebox, a few dartboards and TVs. The Bartender’s have always friendly but I’ve been in there several times on a Saturday night and it’s pretty much empty except for a few apparent locals and regulars. This place doesn’t serve food which is a shame because I see so much potential here which is why I gave it 3 stars. For the time being, it’s definitely a place for the neigborhood crowd. There is plenty of parking on the street and right next door is a municipal parking lot. Definitely the kind of ‘hideaway’ place or an alternative to the main strip of bars nearby on Tulip Ave. in Floral Park.
