Since out usual greek go to spot is closed on sundays we decided to try this place as take out. With the hot summer days no one wants to make more heat in a warm house! So i searched the menu online and searched felllow Unilocaler photos to help make my decision! They do offer delivery but only within 3 miles we are out of that so no big deal! My sister order chicken gyro. And we also ordered 2 lamb gyro platters We also ordered a. Saganaki which is fried cheese. It was okay. Maybe its better really hot. And not having been in a container? The lamb gyro platters came with a choice of salad or soup so we opt for salad. Which had some mesculin greens and shredded carrots. It came with a balsamic dressing! you also get a some tzaziki sauce was amazing! Lots of lamb in the container it felt endless! I thought the platter came with pita bread also. But none was with it. And we were too hungry and not worth driving back for Overall i would order again and dine in!

Went there for family dinner Sunday night. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share — taziki dips, Greek salad, grilled octopus, lamb gyro and a lamb platter with lemon potatoes and side salad. The portion were so generous and we couldn’t finish our food. We had no room for desserts do we just ordered coffee. The bill came out to be around $ 70 before tips. The food especially the dips(one on the house and one we ordered) was tasty. The waiter was very friendly and tentative. The restaurant décor and ambience are modern, new and nice. Soothing music in the background which makes it easy to have a conversation.

Very good food. Staff was friendly. Went with my husband and daughter. There was even a kids menu — which my picky daughter enjoyed. Food was tasty without being salty. Took a little longer than I am used to to get food but that just gave me time to digest and enjoy the next course. Was slightly annoyed with the sharing charge but altogether a wonderful experience. What I thought was a sharing charge was the restaurants way of accommodating my requests. So I must amend my review to 5 stars as Pita Park provided me a wonderful dining experience. Will definitely return and recommend to my friends. Thank you!!!

I was craving a gyro the other day and did a quick search on my phone for a local spot. Pita Park came up so I decided to give it a try. I called in advance and ordered a lamb gyro. The girl I spoke to said it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was $ 7 and change. She had told me it’s big so I skipped an order of fries, since I knew there would be some already in the sandwich. I went to the pick up the food. It was a Saturday afternoon around 4 and the place was empty. The girls were super friendly though. Everyone greeted me when I walked in. It was clear that the service is good. Since it is summer and a lot of people grill during the day and it was early… could explain why it was so dead, bc it’s not bc the food sucks. The gyro was delicious. Generous amount of meat, very flavorful. It was exactly what I was craving and it was definitely very big. I would order from them again.

I was so pleasantly surprised after trying Pita Park. The inside is very welcoming and nicely decorated. I ordered out and picked up, the girl on the phone was super polite and attentive. The food was great! I got a chicken gyro and pork gyro with a side of fries. And they add french fries to their gyros… delicious! Cant wait to come back and try some more.

Coming in I was happy surprised to see how pretty the restaurant is. It really is stunning nicely decorated. This family owned restaurant has a very nice feel to it but, even though tonight wasn’t that busy, I still think they would do well to have one or two more employees. Our server Chris, he made a point of telling us his name I think four times, was nice but a little slow. He was knowledgeable about the menu which is good, but sometimes seemed a little overwhelmed. The food was fantastic. To start we got pita bread with some sauce on the side. I don’t know what the sauce was but the pita was fantastic. My mother got a salad that had walnuts and cranberries it looked fantastic. My father’s cup of lemon chicken soup, cannot pronounce the Greek name, was huge. We saw someone at another table that had the bowl and oh my goodness you could drown in how much soup they give you. And it was some of the best lemon chicken soup I’ve ever had outside of Greece. My horiatiki salad was great. I don’t know what brand they are using for their feta cheese but so delicious. My mother spanakopita was amazing nice and flaky and obviously not put in the microwave before hand. My chicken entrée had peppers and mushrooms and tasted amazing. I think it’s really stupid that they butchered one or two potatoes to put on my plate because they were completely unnecessary. Additionally the potatoes were just bland but really what you expect from potatoes? Though it was some of the best green beans I’ve had in ages. And my father’s shrimp saganaki was so good. I love orzo! This dish had a great flavor and was huge. I really think it would be impossible to go to this restaurant and leave hungry. Overall it was a very nice experience and I can’t wait to go back! I would recommend this place to friends and family.

This is a great addition to the neighborhood! I love seafood and this place is both affordable and seriously delicious. The portions are huge but I still can’t keep my husband’s fork out of my dish! I’ve come with my kids, my friends, my husband’s co-workers and for an intimate baby shower. This place really is suitable for any type of crowd and there is certainly something for everyone to eat here. Love the décor, the service and the food. Everyone that works here is very friendly and attentive… and happy. This place is a hit for me!

This was my 2nd time for lunch at Pita Park on a weekday, and the service was very attentive. He was able to answer questions about the menu abd offer suggestions. The place is also very cozy and our waiter also shared stories witb us about his life growing up in Greece which was nice… added authenticity to this family run, local, cozy restaurant. My Greek salad had a huge piece of feta which I loved and I ordered it with lamb. They do not skimp on the meat… check out the picture. I was also enticed to try the Greek coffee frappé which is way better than Starbucks and made fresh to order. Love this place and it’s a wonderful. addition to the neighborhood. Lemon chx soup is really great too. Highly recommend.

We always feel special upon entering Pita Park as we are warmly greeted every time. Chef Brittany and Manager Mina have created a special place to eat, meet and relax. Groups, couples, singles-all will feel comfortable and cared for. The menu is extensive and has many traditional Greek offerings. The dishes contain expertly blended flavors and are presented appealingly. Colorful original artwork is found throughout the restaurant and the lighting and décor provide a serene and unique atmosphere. The staff is attentive, fun and friendly. Try the flaming saganaki. Outrageously yummy! And the red Greek wine goes with it perfectly. There are creative daily specials in addition to the popular regular menu items. Looking forward to many more visits.

Stopped in after reading some Unilocal reviews. Never noticed the place before. Had Greek meatballs, cheesesteak gyro. Lemon chicken soup, and escarole. A nice chilled Mithos beer. Baklava for dessert. Justin the waiter was very helpful. The specials sounded great but we weren’t that hungry. Next time we are going for the grilled octopus. Everything was delicious. Nicely decorated interior. Very warm and inviting with a romantic touch. We look forward to our next visit.

My favorite place to eat in Floral Park! Everything we have ordered has been delicious and the prices are fantastic. Whenever I need a quick dinner to pick up, the food is always ready fast and tastes just as good as if I was sitting down at the restaurant to eat. The atmosphere is also adorable! Looking forward to their BRUNCH menu!!!

I am always excited when new restaurants open in this area. However, our experience at Pita Park left a lot to be desired. The place is clean and the décor is nice. But it felt cramped for dinnertime on a weeknight and the noise level was extremely loud. No music was played so all you could hear was the din of people’s voices. It was near impossible to hold a conversation in that environment. The food was ok, so we might give the place a second chance sometime if we get a craving for Greek food. We began our meal with spanakopita and hummus with pita. They start you with a complimentary basket of warm pita, but nothing to dip it in. So, we ordered the hummus – which came with more pita… be prepared to eat a lot of carbs at this joint! For our entrees, I had the chicken souvlaki which was one small skewer of tasty and well-seasoned – if a little too oily – chicken and, you guessed it, more pita! Fiancé had the Greek Burger and said it was good. I tasted his fries and they were perfectly crispy and hot. The service was lackluster. Upon entering the small restaurant, we were promptly greeted and sat. But the attentiveness ended there. Our server didn’t check to see how the food was and was damn near impossible to flag down in order to get the check when we were done eating. We literally waited 20 minutes for a check and I have no idea why. There were at least 3 servers, 1 busboy and 1 host(manager?) that I noticed. So, in a restaurant this small, there’s no reason why it should be that hard to get our server’s attention. If we ever go back to Pita Park, it will be at an «off» hour when it won’t be as busy… and we will ask for the check when our meal arrives!
