There’s a history behind this bar and it’s great fodder if you talk to one of the tenured bartenders there that may know it. It was originally McMahon’s Pub. You can start your discussion there, but I’m appreciative of how they memorialized the unfortunate reason it is no longer McMahon’s. Aside from that, a local bar with some great deals. Bucket specials, tap deals. Takes a little while for the locals here to warm up to you. Outside picnic area for nicer months or drinkers that need a cigarette in the cold and trying to hide it from passersby. Limited food, bar pie, chips, burgers. Dart league some night’s, karaōke on weekends. Sunday is ladies night. If you’re in the area, check it out at least once. It’s worth it for the deals alone.

I’ve been to The Angry Gnome a couple of times, usually it’s fairly slow and the bartenders seem very friendly and amenable. Last night was my 4th time there, but first time on a weekend evening. I figured they would be open until at the very least 3am… well, my friends and I were having a lovely evening. We got there around 10 and started drinking. I assumed that after 1130⁄12 I could stop drinking and be sober to drive home by 3am. I had 3 drinks(I am a lightweight) and then some assholes on the other side of the bar, totally unassociated with myself, my friends or anybody on our half of the bar– caused some trouble and the owner RUDELY told the entire bar(probably about 50 people last night) to get the F*** out, and he was cursing out paying customers that were uninvolved and unassociated with whatever drunk fool caused a problem. He shut down the bar at 12 and I had to find an alternative way home because of this. I like the music and the bar but the owner needs to get a grip because he will be losing patrons and this little dive bar will fail if he can’t control his attitude or his clientele. Very unprofessional. I have NEVER been to a bar that closed at midnight on a friday or saturday night.

Stopped in one night while walking down Jericho with some friends. Nothing crazy, average bar with a few drafts. Nicer place though, more of a bar than a pub feel because of how clean it is outside and in. Not sure if I would come back based on the limited number of beers and lack of food.

Was their last night with a few old friends. Great CHEAP specials with very friendly bartenders. Little gnome figures everywhere behind the bar. I’d swing through again!

Best specials, great jukebox, bands, DJs and karaōke around! Check out their Facebook page for all the upcoming events! Ask about the Gnome Buckets and the Gnome Pass! Can’t wait for the patio to open in May!

The bar is nice and clean. Didn’t use the restrooms but besides that the beer tastes good and cold. They had guinness on tap which is always a plus. Didn’t get to try their food either but just a nice clean bar with cold beer, good prices, friendly bartenders darts and a pool table can’t go wrong.
