Five Guys Burgers and Fries was an exceptionally average experience. Allow me to elaborate: from the minute I walked in the door I was greeted with an array of peanuts to munch on whilst I awaited my food. I ordered a hamburger with all the usual suspects(lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions). When the kind employee alerted me that my order was ready, I collected a brown sack of 10% burger 40% fries and 50% grease. The Cajun fries offered the right amount of flavor with just the right kick, and the burger overcame the somewhat dry bun with the aid of ketchup and grilled onions. The establishment was crisp and clean, and the amenities offered were delightful. As I said before, exceptionally average in every sense of the phrase– would recommend to a fellow traveler.

First time there on 11÷1÷15 and the afternoon crew was excellent! The gentleman who took our order took the time to ask if it was our first time there and explained the menu to us. Excellent service and awesome burgers! Definitely coming back!

I have visited 5 Guys 3x now and the 1st. time was served a pretty decent burger by fast and friendly staff but the fries where seriously lacking, you shouldn’t be able to to bend those into the shape of an O! 2nd. visit still limp fries and fast and friendly staff but a rather overdone burger. 3rd visit I didn’t bother with fries but was treated to an almost dusty burger and the staff was not what it used to be either, I was watching 4 guys standing around the grill talking while my order and one other order where waiting and one poor girl trying to clean the dinning area by herself after their busy period. It seems to me that over time food and service have taken a turn for the worst and I doubt I will return any time soon!

Five guys just doesn’t do it for me. I’ve had it 3 times since its opened, and I have yet to love it.

Decided to give this place a try while passing they Flag. This was our first visit. Loved the free in-shell peanuts right when we walked in! Cashier was helpful in answering our order questions. I got a single bacon burger with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, mustard and jalapeños. Husband got a double bacon cheeseburger with mayo, pickles, lettuce, and grilled onions. Love that you can pick your toppings and they’re all included. We also got a large fries Cajun style to share. It was a lot of fries! They’re really good and hand cut! They have stacks of 50# bags of Idaho potatoes in the dining area. I saw a cook come out and get 4 bags while we were eating. A little more pricey than average fast food but everything is made fresh to order, therefore it tastes 100x better than average. Hand cut fries and hand formed patties, the added cost is worth it. Still less than $ 20 for the 2 of us… no soda and sharing fries.

Overrated and way overpriced. $ 5.50 hot dog? GW said, «…fool me once, shame on me, fool me… don’t get fooled again…» we’ll pass moving forward.

I am not a big fan of burgers, and rarely go out to eat them, however I would definitely consider coming here. The décor is ok, its a bit sanitized with red and white themes throughout, which is normal for all of the other Five Guys restaurants I have visited. There are tables throughout the restaurant as well and they are made of reconstituted wood. In all, it looks like a step above a fast food restaurant. As far as the main menu is concerned, they serve burgers and hot dogs, and grilled cheese sandwiches. You can also get a veggie patty if you wish as well. That’s all. With any of these, you are also welcome to put as many toppings on them as you want, most are free, but some cost a little extra. I do not eat fried food, nor do I eat a lot of bread, so instead, I opted to just get the burger in a container with my toppings, and eat the peanuts as my side, which of course tasted like peanuts so no surprises there. The service was fast, despite the long wait in line, and the burger came with ample toppings thrown in as well. I got grilled mushrooms and onions and ketchup. I opted to also get a soda because they had a Coke Freestyle machine, and I tend to enjoy using them. I got a Mellow Yello mixed with orange syrup that was pretty good if a little too syrupy. My dining companion got two hot dogs. I tried a piece, and it wasn’t bad. It was grilled very well, but I need to review it for next time. So I am sure you are wondering, why the 4 stars instead of 5? Well, I thought the burger was better than normal but not quite on par with some other burger joints I have visited. Its definitely freshly made, and tasty, Also, it was a little expensive as well for the quality. By no means does this mean I do not recommend it, but it could have been a bit better for the price. I was however impressed that they were willing to package the burger and toppings as well. I would definitely be visiting here again.

This place was great for the service! All I could eat was the fries though. They were very good fries. Best for meat eaters that’s for sure.

I don’t get it. Every time someone mentions a Five Guys, the most common description that follows is «expensive». I had never been to a Five Guys until tonight when my sons chose it for dinner. I was excited and decided to try it with an open mind. Needless to say, I wasn’t shocked when the total for a regular cheeseburger, two doubles, a large fry and three drinks was $ 35. I was waiting to taste the burgers until I passed judgement. My sons devoured their burgers. Mine was also very good. It was fast. The staff were very friendly and even stopped by the table to check if we needed anything. Plus it was busy. Which kind of baffles me. It wasn’t a great burger, regardless of the price. Sure you could argue you will get at least the same quality at a number of other places. I just wasn’t that impressed.

This place is pretty hit or miss, sometimes it’s bad and sometimes it’s ok. Way over priced and staff kinda rude. Don’t waste your time at this place…

My wife and I were on a road trip AND we seldom eat at hamburger type restaurants. As we entered Flagstaff, we were hungry! Then we saw the Five Guys and pulled over. We feel that Five Guys is above the«others», so we enjoyed ourselves. I ordered a bacon, cheese burger, my wife ordered the smaller burger BUT the large fries are a must. We had the burgers OUR way, grilled onions, etc. Everything cooked to order which make Five Guys stand out. We arrive around 11:30AM so we missed the rush. The restrooms are clean as was the restaurant area. We noticed no issues at all.

Been coming here on & off for over a year now… appreciate the good customer service but love the handmade patties which are flat grilled. They are prepared with your choice of toppings with the option of adding a beverage and/or fries. No frills. Simple. Retro diner atmosphere.

This goes for ALL Five Guys, not just the Flagstaff location. These burgers are overpriced. Way overpriced. They charge you $ 9. and all you get is the burger. Fries and a drink are extra. Taste? Not worth it. Try Mama Burger or Freddy’s for a good taste and decent price.

Total mistake of orders, fries were not edible way to much salt. The burger was poorly made, very messy compared to other 5 guys. They rudely ordered me to throw away the burger after I was not satisfied.

I am back again to this place and snacked on my peanuts while waiting for my meal. I noticed they post where the batch of potatoes come from and for people wheelchair-bound they have easy access to the soda and iced the machines. Once again my cheeseburger wrap(2patties and cheese wrapped within a lettuce wrap for gluten-free me) were perfect with grilled mushrooms, pickles and tomatoes and the little fries still were more than enough for me today. I also had time to read many of the posters on the wall and was finding all of them to be true statements; even the one that states the music is loud… but there is something about how it is projected in this place because it feels like it is above you and not AT you… so kudos to whoever did that bit of technology.

I’ve been to many a Five Guys across the great land that is the US of A. I’ve always known the burgers to be juicy, and the fries to be numerous. So when the large fry that I ordered for my party of seven turned out to be a small fry, I said«WTF?». The paper bag should be overflowing with fries when you order a regular fry at Five Guys, so when you drop $ 5 on a LARGE fry, it should look like a half dozen potatoes have been bathed in peanut oil and put into a large grocery bag. Exaggerating a lil bit, possibly, but not much. A brief conversation with a staffer and the manager, Juan, quickly corrected this oversight and brought the fry count into proper proportion for us. That’s why I go to Five Guys as much as for the deliciousness and taste of home. It’s the consistency. I don’t think I will be able to drive into Flag without stopping here.

I am a fan of the five guys, and this location is as impressive as any. Very nice customer service, they made a great burger(really great, these are my fav types of burgers) good fries(maybe could have used a minute more in the fryer)… :)

Five Guys used to be my In-N-Out substitute when I lived on the East Coast. Now that I’m back in California, I have little use for it, but Matt B. and I did get a quick lunch at the Five Guys in Flagstaff on our way out to Santa Fe. It was a satisfying meal. This Five Guys was pretty big and pretty busy, but the service was fast and friendly. The cashier who rang me up did say she’d bring my order out to the patio tables, which didn’t happen, but otherwise, I have no complaints. There were free peanuts to munch on for people too hungry to wait for their food. I didn’t indulge this time, but I like the set-up and have taken advantage of it before. I had an approximation of my usual order, a cheeseburger(defaulted to double) with a whole lot of fixings. I like that Five Guys charges a flat price for most add-ons, and I took full advantage with mushrooms, pickles, green peppers, jalapeños, ketchup, and hot sauce. I actually don’t like the peppers at Five Guys, it turns out, as they’re more or less raw, but it was a decent burger. I definitely recommend adding mushrooms. The Five Guys burger is not as delicious as the In-N-Out Double Double — there isn’t the same immense satisfying flavor to the meat, and the bun falls apart a bit too easily. It’s also a whole lot more expensive. That said, solid fast food, and the fries are better by miles. I love the crispy skin-on Five Guys fries — I also love that a small order feeds a family. I don’t go to Five Guys very often, and I’m not such a big fan that I crave the burgers. That said, they’re definitely tasty, and I like the wide selection of free toppings. The fries are some of the best you’ll find in the world of fast food, and they’re reason enough to stop by.

This restaurant is brand new to the Flagstaff scene, and was jam packed on my first visit. I am glad to see a location so close to NAU. I have been to 5 Guys before, and was pleased with the quality of my fries and Bacon Cheese Dog with grilled onions, and my husband enjoyed his Cajun Fries and Burger. There were still management folks walking around and hashing out improvements, so I have high hopes. We encountered an extremely high noise level. I would not recommend going here just yet, to Combat Vets or folks with hearing aides.(I have both in my family.) The music needs to be turned down, so that the staff does not have to yell so loudly over it, to each other, and to customers. It would also be extremely difficult to navigate a wheelchair or walker through the crowd, and tight isles, however, I am sure that customers and staff would make way for any guests with mobility issues. I hope they install a screen display for completed order numbers, to eliminate the screaming. It seems management was already discussing a better floor plan. I look forward to returning and seeing improvements, since the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the food was indeed scrumptious.
