Pure Elegance Bridal Boutique & Tuxedos

After reading the other reviews, I HAD to come here.
Just left after a sizing measurement and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
They were warm and welcoming and answered all of my questions and even brought up some options I wasn’t even thinking about.
I also was able to hear them on the phone with other customers, and it reenforced my impression.
Def going back to them.
–and unlike the other reviewer I’ll make sure I am true to my word and return the tux when I’m suppose to. :)

I live in Phoenix, but all my family was in town for vacation so we decided to escape the heat to Flagstaff for a few days. We decided to check out Pure Elegance for my first dress appointment as it is the only bridal salon in Flagstaff. The staff was nothing short of wonderful! Every call made to me leading up was great and very informative! They really seemed to want to get to know me and my style. During the appointment, Craig and Kim were amazing! Kim picked up on what I wanted instantly and hand picked the perfect dress! Craig (the owner) was simply amazing with getting in touch with the alterations lady.
What I really loved about them is that they wouldn’t let me buy that day; they wanted me to sleep on it and wait to talk to alterations to make sure it was possible. They even gave me the style number to see if I could find it elsewhere! Inevitably, I made the trip back up just to buy my perfect dress from them! We were all in tears that day when I said yes! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I thought at first when I dealt with pure elegance, that I was doing a good thing by contributing to a local business, rather than going to Phoenix like everybody advised. Biggest mistake I’ve made in a long time. I ordered 11 tuxedoes for my wedding, and we spent $ 1,106 dollars on rentals (on top of all wedding costs) with the manager /​owner there. He informed me that my rental was free because of the amount of money that was spent on the other rentals, which I thought was out of kindness for giving him business. Apparently not. After the crazy events of the wedding weekend and then going back to work directly after, there was miscommunication as to when my rental would be returned. However, that is absolutely NO REASON for the OWNER of a business to show up at my place of employment and yell at the top of his lungs demanding late fees of 200 dollars and credit card information (which were never agreed to and no contract was ever signed) in front of my staff and multiple guests. I then offered to return the suit to him because I had it in my car, but he refused, and stormed off while threatening to call the police. Not only did he harass me in front of multiple witnesses, he was incredibly rude and unprofessional. His behavior was an insult and I wouldn’t wish that kind of treatment upon my worst enemy. DO NOT GO TO PURE ELEGANCE, unless you want to be stressed out by a horrible customer experience, after you spend your hard earned money to make sure a major life event is just perfect. The trip to Phoenix is worth not having to deal with them.

DO NOT GO HERE! The manager was a complete ass hole (excuse the language). When I went to introduce myself he didn’t shake my hand or tell me his name. I asked him a question and he no joke laughed in my face. Not just a chuckle, full out started cracking up at me. When he finally stopped laughing at me and answered it was rude and childish. The two hour drive to Phoenix is so worth it so you aren’t treated like crap. I was trying to help a local business, but won’t be that nice anymore if they treat me like that. Don’t go and let them ruin your big day.
