I have not seen a themed chain restaurant that has been able to have the longevity of Texas Roadhouse. I have been to several different locations over the past fifteen years and found the food and service to always be the best you will find for this type of food at this price point. This was my first visit to this location. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and attentive. My waitress(Sage) did an outstanding job. The staff really seems to enjoy working here. My food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was prepared exactly to my specifications. They are almost never any changes to the menu but in their case if that is how they manage to deliver the consistency and quality I wouldn’t change a thing. Great food, great service and a fun atmosphere.

Always excellent food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. The beer is cold and the food is tasty. One of our favorite places as a family to eat.

We were here on a Saturday night, arriving around 5pm so just before the rush was in full swing. There were six of us in our party and we were seated within minutes of our arrival. The positives were the server was attentive and did a good job of refilling beverages and bringing the food good and hot. The salad was delicious as always, rolls were replaced after the kids quickly ate the initial basket. I ordered the BBQ chicken breast that was unfortunately a bit dry. One of the kids ordered a cheeseburger that no one seemed to like. I thought the cheese fries were also a bit greasy but maybe that comes with the territory. All in all a good experience.

Why is there call ahead seating if you are stuck waiting in line… that’s all I got… The service was excellent, nice friendly waitress, the food was great… the Margarita was a bit on the sweet side, other than that all in all great dinning experience.

I typically shy away from chain restaurants like this, but we decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad we did! Amazing steaks– cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable & service was great. Salads were crisp, fresh & amazing. Soft buttery rolls & tons of peanuts to nosh in while we waited for our food. We will definitely return!

I don’t like to eat at chain restaurants. But, the front desk lady at the hotel gave me a 10% off ticket for this place, so I had to try it. I have to say that the rolls they shoved in my face as I sat down were absolutely delicious. Maybe I was really hungry, but they were light and fluffy. I ordered two pork chops, which were prepared in such a way that pleased me. I dipped my fork bites into the gravy which accompanied said pork chops, and I did not regret that. The baked potato was pretty good. The green beans peppered with bacon bits were not good, however. In summary, I give this chain five stars, possibly for being in the right place(near my hotel) at the right time(my hungry time).
My family and I stopped in here tonight for a late supper. Had approximately a five minute wait . We were seated promptly with rolls and cinnamon butter, they are the best! Our waitress had to wait so I could run our three year old son to the little mans room. As soon as we sat back down, she was right there to take our orders. We had to wait a little longer it seemed like for our salads to come out and seemed it took a little longer than it should have to get our meals out to us. But we survived the wait. My wife and son had chicken nuggets and vegetables. My wife said that they were very tender and better than the big chicken strips they use to serve. Our daughter had the two mini cheeseburgers and fries. She enjoyed what she had and she saved one cheeseburger for tomorrow. I had the porter house T-Bone. The Lima location, I always have to order my steak medium to get medium well. So that is what I did here tonight. When I cut into my steak and I got what I ordered, a medium cooked steak! I was not disappointed at all! It was a little pinker than what I usually get but it was tender and delicious! I can honestly say, I will order it medium again when we go back. Our waitress was great, checked up on us numerous times and always had a smile on her face. Thank You Cassandra for being a wonderful waitress! I am still going to give this review a five. If the food was not great and took way longer than what it did, it would have been a different story.

Service was exceptional. Store was relatively clean. My steak was not so great. Ordered a new york strip medium well that came out way over cooked. Baked potato wasn’t cooked all the way. Salad was excellent. Rolls were not hot. Worth a second chance I think but overall disappointed with the first go round.

Was there last night. I liked it and so did my husband. The service was fantastic! Everyone that came to our table was exceptional, especially our waitress. The rolls and butter, YUM!!! the salad was very good. Would be nice if they had more selection for the dressings. My steak was good, not great but good! My husband said his was very good. They were the sirloin steaks. Mine was a little fatty at the one end, probably because I got the 6oz. My husbands was not at all fatty. All that doesn’t matter because it was a nice dinner and the servers were great. Very happy that you have a small steak for the person with a small appetite. Yah! I am a fan!!!

This is a recent addition to Findlay(less than a month), and it’s still quite busy just from the grand opening. Even though the house was packed, we were able to find a table in less than five minutes. It seems to have quite a bit of floorspace with the bar located in the center of the building. Texas Roadhouse is a formula restaurant with more than 300 locations in operation. The décor is what you would expect in a steakhouse and Country/Western bar. The motif comes complete with caricatures of Country singers and stuffed animal heads mounted on the walls. I’ve found that to be a turn off for at least one of my friends, so this place may not be for everyone. I’m not sure if they change stations from time to time, but every song played while we ate was modern Country. Shall I mention there’s a small line dancing event on the hour? Our table service was pleasant and timely, given the large number of filled tables that night. The restaurant provides peanuts and bread rolls(butter type: cinnamon and honey) to eat while you wait for your appetizers and main course. That’s also an important piece of information. If you have peanut allergies, give this place a wide berth. Save yourself the headache of trying it out, because you won’t escape them in here. Our main courses were hot and flavorful. I had the country fried chicken with brown gravy, which was slightly better than KFC. I went in with the notion that it would be, so it was to be expected. Also, I sampled their steak and pulled pork. The steak was slightly too charred for my taste(I’m a medium rare fan), and the pulled pork leaned toward the sweet side. In fact, their original recipe barbecue sauce they provide was sweet too. I like my barbecue tangy, spicy and dry(if a rub is available), but it wasn’t a bad dish at all. One large drawback is its price. This place is not for the budget conscious. With all of the entrees pushing $ 10-$ 12 bucks, you’ll easily wind up with a $ 20.00 dinner(tip included) per head. If that doesn’t bother you, then it should be fine to bring the family out to on a Friday night and have a nice night away from the kitchen.
