Burger Tank is one of the main food trucks on campus that I can consistently rely on for good quality food. It is a sad fact that there are few trucks that can match this quality at Temple. The burgers are top notch since they use locally grown beef. It always tastes fresh. I never feel as unhealthy as I would eating a burger at any other place. I usually tend to go for the healthier burgers though such as the Rizzo and the Mocking Burger. Their selection of grilled cheeses and burgers can be unique and it is at least worth a try. Their tots and fries are top notch and addicting. I could order just fries and tots and be satisfied. The price point for this truck is a bit higher than ones on campus but it is worth the price. I am almost a consistent customer. The only thing that keeps me from coming back consistently is the fact that I like variety in the meals I eat so I don’t come here as often.

Great food. Great location. Many options. Low prices. Great service(although the wait time is a bit longer than desired). 8.5÷10. Would recommend.

One of the best food trucks on campus. The burgers are fresh and delicious, and very inexpensive. $ 6 for a double patty grilled chicken burger is nothing! Especially when you consider the amount of toppings, sauces, and overall variety the burgers have. Each new burger is a unique experience. If you’re in north philly or a temple u student who hasn’t tried this place yet, make sure to go for the next lunch. But make sure to call at least 10−15min in advance because their lines are super long and can sometimes take up to 25min to get your food. Amazing stuff!

First, let me say the grilled cheese I ordered(Quattro Formaggi) was pretty good. Cheese was tasty and grilled to perfection. Not overpriced. My issue was the service. :-( My fiancé and I originally came for the Crêpe Truck that is also on Norris. The crêpe truck was closed for some unknown reason. Burger Tank was right next to it; so I decided to give them a try. This was also the case for several other patrons standing in line. Burger Tank had an oppty to tap into customers that would not normally have purchased from them and turn them into repeat customers. However, the order taker was slow to take orders and just plain rude to some customers. In fact he asked one lady, «Do you want to order or not?!» If he had not been getting ready to hand me my grilled cheese(which I had already paid for) I would have told him that I didn’t want it and demanded my money back. All small businesses should understand that their product is most likely NOT unique and can be acquired somewhere else. Your customer service and care is what sets you apart from the competition and builds a repeat customer base. Do better Burger Tank! We won’t be back… EVER!

Formerly the Burger Busz, same menu, same food, prices may have went up a bit, but everything is pretty much the same except for the new truck skin. Good value for you money, they give a ton of fries and a good-sized burger, and around 5pm every day, you get a free drink with your meal, so that’s cool.

Decided to get lunch with some of my Working Families clan after a night of Jim Kenney partying. Hooray for another victory! Decided to go with the crab cake burger and an Arizona. Great combo. I also sampled the tater tots, for which my friend got some of the strawberry balsamic jam on the side for. Pretty bangin. Prices are def fair and the Asian guy running it was nice. Would return.

So this place pissed me of two days in a row. Yesterday asked for a Pyro Melt with grilled chicken and they failed to put it in and today asked for a Grilled Caprese with grilled chicken and still didn’t give me chicken and bet i got charged for it. This the last time I eat from there. Like wtf!

Good creative burgers. 3 stars because it pretty expensive and it takes a long time to get your food. Took 30 minutes for me to get my order.

This is great food for a great price, and super high quality for a food truck. The portobello burger is amazing(and veg) and you get tons of tater tots if you order them.

Best burger on campus. Can’t go wrong with a side of sweet potato fries. Get ready to feel sluggish after all that oil drenched food tho

The one review on here for 1 star does not do this place any justice. Amazing burgers. Good price. Try the omega III burger, definitely a legendary burger

As a rule of thumb, I think it’s a good idea to avoid eating at places with«tank» in their name. This same line of thinking has also prevented me from buying my apparel at places like Dress Barn. I do not wish to be a tank and I certainly do not wish to look like a farm animal. Buuuuut, as the progressive, socially aware student activists carrying change receptacles and offering«FREESOFTPRETZELS!» on Temple’s Liacouras Walk have time after time told me, «Temple is a food desert.» Good news students, I think we are getting better. The Burger Tank truck is one of several new food options to grace the Temple campus with its presence and help me to avoid the all too often chosen option of eating Insomnia Cookies for lunch. And after catching my attention several times, I finally gave in. Admittedly, I am not much of a burger person and with the exception of one mushroom burger(Ewwww! Earth boogers! Gross!), there weren’t any veggie burger or non-cow burger options as I had hoped. But if you are a cow burger person, I think you’ve come to the right place. Non burger people don’t fret! They have a very extensive grilled cheese menu! And a delicious one at that! Mmmm… grilled cheese. *Counts the hours until lunch time*
