Amazing portion sized. Friendly service. Very quick getting food. On of the best bbq places anywhere near!

May be a little pricey but the food is great. The service is quick and the manager is walking the floor checking on the customer. Great place.

I want so much to love this establishment. I greatly enjoyed the high top tables and the military friendly atmosphere. It’s not just cliché, there is a real difference between just saying the words for marketing like a lot of local shops do. Mission gets 10 stars on being a relaxing welcoming place for retirees, veterans and military folk, the people running it are really nice 10 stars on that as well. The price is too high. My daughter and I each had brisket and it was so salty it seemed processed, but looking at it that’s clearly not the case. Felt like having deli meat for dinner. Ticket for two was about $ 35. Honest fair value would have been $ 25 at a stretch. We noticed the salads and will try those on our next visit. They seamed a great value, the ones we saw looked really fresh and filling.

This was suggested to me by someone at the hospital ok working at, he hyped it a lot and I was a little worried. After eating it I don’t think he hyped it enough! Food was excellent! Menu is straight and to the point and even during busy dinner rush got my food in less then 10 mins, can’t wait to go back

Pro Military, EMS and LE, which I like being former Military. The place has a sportsbar feel with lots of military items decorating the walls. Clean dinning room and the staff was friendly. I ordered the 2 meat combo, pulled pork and brisket which was $ 8.95 added 2 sides fries and coleslaw and a drink bringing the ticket to $ 14.00. It was not bad, nothing I would go back for or recommend to anyone. I love brisket and couldn’t wait to try theirs. I was totally disappointed to find what I received was chopped and very dry. Why would anyone chop a beautiful piece of meat that takes so much time to cook? I did check the menu board and noticed sliced is offered. I didn’t realize I needed to specify. The pulled pork was cold and again very dry. My opinion the meat should be great alone then sauce to enhance the flavor. Fries tasted like they were made earlier and re-dropped to heat up. Final conclusion, no plans for a second trip.

I tried the pulled pork sandwich and had two sides, the corn on the cob, and the strawberry shortcake. I was impressed! After putting in the order, our order was out in like 3 minutes, so the service was on point. On the tables there was 6 different types of bbq, and you can try them all to find your favorite. I forget the name of my favorite, but it was made with honey and it was absolutely amazing. The bbq was meaty and not mushy which was a bonus, the coleslaw was good and not over done with mayo, and the corn was seasoned very well. The strawberry shortcake was perfect! This place is a must try. For a price point, I would say expect to spend about $ 10-$ 12 per person for a full combo.

Second try with brisket and again, too salty. Just let the meat smoke itself, the salt is overbearing. The meat is tender and juicy, just too much salt. Try to mask it with their great selection of sauces, still salty. Now, their pulled pork is to die for. Just lay off the salt on the brisket, Mr. Pittmaster. Still enjoy coming here. The BBQ sandwich is huge and tasty.

I really enjoyed this place and the service was friendly and prompt. The only issue was the saltiness of the food. We ordered pulled pork, corn on the cob, and cornbread. They put way too much salt on the food, so much so that you could see a pile of salt on the plate. I guess some people like salt all over the plate. I would go back, but ask not to put so much salt over the food. Try all the sauces! The only spicy one was the best.

First time here. Very military friendly. They have delicious food, friendly staff, clean dining area. Prices are reasonable. They have USO cups that provide proceeds. Todays black plate special was Ricky Bobby Chicken(shake n bake)!

The Ricky Bobby chicken I had was good &CRUNCHY! Just the way I like my chicken. The only bad thing was that my first batch of thighs were undercooked and had a bit of blood still in it. They gave me a new plate of chicken and was happy enough to take it to go ! Enjoyed the rest of it at home

Outstanding Unilocal find. Deserves every one of my 5 stars. I had the pulled pork, coke slaw and green beans. I consider myself a barbecue lover and I have never had better. Good portions, incredible flavor and 6 different barbecue sauces that you can choose from. Clearly something for all tastes. Military friendly restaurant with reserved parking in front for veterans. If I ever make it back to anywhere close to the Fort Bragg area I will be back.

There are many reviews, but here’s my experience, speaking for 2 adults and 1 teen. Baby back ribs — comes off the bone. Served«dry,» and you select from 6 sauces from dispensers. Sides: Mac & cheese — the teenager says it’s very good. Mashed potatoes — country style with lots of butter. Some say it’s pricey because the sides are a la carte — compared to a local restaurant(Memphis Barbecue, down the road on Skibo), it’s about the same, but this is a «pick up» place there’s no tipping which makes the whole experience 15−20% less. The deserts and sodas are about $ 2.19 so you don’t end up with a padded check.

The food was fantastic, like each Mission BBQ I’ve been to. The problem with this location could be that it’s on Skibo. or that it’s new. Either way, it was jammed packed, parking was even a problem. I enjoyed how friendly the staff were, but dealing with that many people could definitely set off some military PTSD.

Could smell the amazing BBQ smoke from around the block! So I gave it a try Got 3 meat combo with fries. Brisket, sausage, and pull pork. Very good selection, all had great flavor, not overly cooked or smoked! And it seemed as if it was just off the grill, which was great! They gave you a huge selections of sauces to pair the meats with… SOMANYSAUCES! The cost was on the high end for the portion size you receive. Great quality food, but zero value. Nearly $ 18 for 1 person, which with the 4 meat sampler, does not comes with a drink. If I come here again, I might try a sandwich next time instead which seemed more reasonable. The customer service was good. The person who took my order wasn’t pushy even though they were in the middle of a rush and helped me with my decision. Also they had a person that made suggestions as far as sauces to use when you picked up your order, which I thought was cool. The place has a «fast food» set up, not a sit down restaurant. So it was clean and orderly in that aspect. Nothing out of the ordinary! Its located in a shopping center, plenty of parking. Overall, I thought what I ordered was good. However, probably will not come back here again because of the lack in value. There are PLENTY of BBQ places in the Fayetteville area that you can go and get better value you in my opinion.

This is quite literally the most patriotic eating establishment I’ve ever experienced. It’s very surreal. Nevertheless, the food’s awesome. I always enjoy the fact that if I can see the kitchen in the back, my food ought to be good. In this case, yes, the food was amazing. The fatty brisket was flavorful and their cornbread was sweet, soft, and very much addictive. I sampled a side of their BBQ beans from my companion and it was meh. The coleslaw was tangy and nice though. Service was friendly and quick. They were really helpful with explaining the menu. A staff member sometimes goes to table to table chatting with the customers to make sure their experience is okay which is awesome for a casual fast food restaurant. My only caveat is that parking is atrocious and the strip mall where the restaurant is located in is a pain to get to. Still, A+ place for BBQ.

A+ had the 3 meat sampler. Brisket, pulled pork and Turkey, Mac and Cheese and cornbread. Everything was A or A+ Brisket is the best I’ve had on the East coast. Mac and cheese is amazing. People are great class acts. If you don’t like this you don’t like BBQ. #BBQmissionaccplished
