Haifa Grill

I was excited to try this place out because I have yet to find a decent shawarma place in this area. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and they were packed and barely able to keep up with orders. I wanted to get chicken shawarma but the guy manning the register told me that’s going to be an extra 20 min wait, so I went with the beef shawarma. I also ordered some falafel. The beef shawarma was just NOT good! The quality of the meat wasn’t great and it wasn’t properly cooked. I’m guessing the latter was due to them being busy. The only saving grace was the falafel. The falafel is still not the best, but it was good enough.
The shawarma just didn’t taste good. However, the people working there were super sweet and kept apologizing to me because of the wait.

Just came here for lunch and had some of the tastiest middle eastern food in a while! The beef shawarma platter is huge (enough for two) with rice and pickles. Make sure to shake a little sumac on the rice for a citrus taste! We also ordered kibbeh which tasted like my grandmoms, full of pine nuts and allspice flavor. We ordered some meat and cheese pies to go, can’t wait to try those too. The owner was very kind and seems to really care about his customers! Will be returning for sure!

Came in here one evening and Ordered a couple items to try:
–Fetoosh salad with chicken shawarma on top
–Hummus with beef/​lamb shawarma on top
–French fries
–chicken shawarma wrap
The salad portion was huge! With plenty of chicken, only thing it was missing was a little more salad dressings!
Hummus with beef was fantastic and so were the French fries! I didn’t try the wrap. But was told it was delicious.
Overall great food, friendly and quick service, the chef gave us a few recommendations for next time! Downstairs is quick and easy seating I heard they have a upstairs dining area for more of a restaurant style meal. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Best middle eastern food I’ve had in VA/​DC area, especially the shawarma sandwich! Authentic food tastes just like you are in the Middle East! So happy I found this spot and it’s so close to home! Everything is fresh and place is newly renovated

The new Mediterranean Halal Restaurant in Falls Church. A great addition that is fresh and fabulous. Delicious food, great service and casual chic atmosphere!

Food was very delicious and flavorful! They give very generous portions. Best falafel I’ve ever had! Everything is homemade and authentic.
They have wonderful service. the restaurant is very clean and kid friendly. Excellent restaurant!
