The food is fine. The newer staff was fine. However, my last encounter with the management was not. I was simply telling my order, when the assistant manager completely interrupted me to scold the other worker about«grabbing things from my hand». She knew the girl was taking my order, completely embarrassed the girl then walled away with her chip still on her shoulder. I was highly irritated and sad for the girl, who apologized for the interruption. Highly rude. All this was done in front of my children.

I love the food here! I don’t think it would ever be considered«authentic» but maybe that’s why I like it so much. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 *‘s I bc on at least 3 occasions I’ve driven to the mall for the express reason to order food from them & after finding somewhere to park, & walking into the food court found, that they had closed early. So it appears to me that closing early is something they commonly do, without consideration for their customers. Other than that(which is incredibly annoying & a huge pet peeve of mine) I have no complaints! The staff I’ve encountered have always been pleasant & friendly & they have the best orange chicken around!

Used to really like the food, and I ate there almost every time I went to Eureka, but now they seem to have eliminated most of the meat from nearly every item on the menu, which makes a big difference, and not for the better. Don’t think I’ll be eating there again. I like Black Pepper Chicken, not Black Pepper Vegetables.

Had a very rude experience here last week. I’m not usually one to complain about rude underpaid employees, but this is an exception. When I ordered, I noticed they had styrofoam trays(who does that anymore?) so I asked for a plate since it created less waste. The lady seemed shocked and confused, then procured a styrofoam plate. I said alright, at least it makes a little less trash. Then another cashier came up and started chewing this lady out(who seemed new) because she wasn’t supposed to give out the plates for some reason. The second woman asked her why she’d given it to me(meanwhile I’m standing right there waiting for my food) and the first one pointed and said, «I dunno, she said something about… less. I dunno». «Well don’t do it again» said the second one. The first one turns to me and says, «Sorry I have to give you trays». I respond to the ruder second woman, «Well then I would request that in the future you make paper plates available as styrofoam is really bad on the environment.» The woman didn’t even look at me — she completely ignored me. After all that I was charged for 2 items when I had ordered 1, and the cashier would not adjust the bill. Absolutely horrible management.

This Chinese restaurant is definitely a gem as it is a replica of the affordable, good, and fast Chinese restaurants that cluster the Los Angeles area. They offer mainstream courses like: chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef and brocoli, teriyaki chicken, egg rolls, etc. I’ve lived in the area for 3 years and have been looking for a Chinese restaurant like this for quite some time. The restaurant is located in the food-court in the Bayshore mall. You definitely need to give this one a try!
