We stayed here because it was one of the only hotels with a room available. The staff were very nice and our room seemed fairly clean except for the pillow I was going to use, which had mascara on it. Whether it was a stain or unwashed I do not know, but either way the housekeeper should not have used that pillow case. The location wasn’t that great for us as it was not within walking distance of anything we wanted to do, but for someone who wants something away from the downtown area this would be a good choice. The room we had was big but very outdated. It felt like an old motel. Fine for one night, but not for a romantic vacation.

Cute, cozy and comfortable. Front desk staff was great as well. Continental breakfast was good.

My wife and father-in-law come to Estes in the fall every year, and we always stay at this Comfort Inn. We get one of the loft-style rooms and they are perfect. Beds are ridiculously comfy. Pillows are perfect and fluffy. Bathrooms are clean and new. Fireplace is a HUGEPLUS. If I HAD to complain, it would be that they have HD TVs but only a crummy standard definition cable feed going to it. But who’s watching TV when you’re in Estes Park? Owners are incredibly friendly and talkative. They even gave me a postcard stamp without charging! Free breakfast every morning is more than generous. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles stations, cereals, bagels, breads, yogurt, fruit… It’s great to not have to worry about your first meal of the day. And they’ve been doing some remodeling which has made this Comfort Inn even better. New lobby, new breakfast area. Truly a wonderful experience every time we visit.

Great hotel and value! Excellent service and amenities. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Super friendly staff. Free hot breakfast. Perfect location from Rocky Mountain NP. We were on a three week cross-country road trip and despite this not being a fancy downtown hotel in a major city it was one of the best hotel experiences we had. The rooms have amazing balcony views of the mountains. We woke up with birds flying and singing on our balcony. This place really has beautiful mountain lodge feel. Can’t ask for anything more.

I spent one night in this hotel in July. We checked in late at night and had no problems checking in. I was unimpressed when we got into our room. It looked old and dated in spite of newer bedding. The bed itself was not very comfortable — too springy for my taste. The room also seemed quite dark and the carpet needed replacement. I didn’t feel comfortable opening the curtains in the morning as we were on the first floor and there were cars parked right outside our window. Anywhere else this hotel room would not have been able to charge more than $ 85/night, but since its Estes Park I had the privilege of paying more than $ 200 for it.

We are wrapping up a three night stay. The staff have been nice and the breakfast is great. They have scrambled and hard boiled eggs, yogurt, English muffins/bagels/toast, muffins/pastries, make your own waffles, and dry cereal. The room can be tight if you have a lot of luggage but they are clean and the bed is comfy. The view of the mountains from our balcony is a nice bonus. We compared prices and this was one of the best, especially for the breakfast.

Doesn’t look like much from the street, but my fiancée and I were very pleased with the room. Clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Also very convenient to Lake Estes, where we were able to walk down and watch the fireworks from the golf course. Would stay again!

Clean and comfortable, but really nothing special(esp at $ 160/night). The bathroom in my room was cramped and made a hissing noise all night. The rest was fine. Nice person at the check-in.

Not much for the money… rooms are musty and old… our bathroom had a leak coming in from the unit above. I would suggest looking around for a better option.

Searched out the Comfort Inn on the web and was a bit dubious based on the price and photos, which make the place look a bit dated. We were very pleasantly surprised when we got here. The room was larger than a standard hotel room, and very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We extended for another day. I would definitely recommend the Comfort Inn-Estes Park.

This is my second visit to the Comfort Inn. It’s clean, comfortable, with lovely mountain views from all the rooms. The motel is family owned and they care about pleasing their guests. They were able to accomodate my request for the same room as I had before. Breakfast is self-serve waffles. Yum. Last time I was here, I saw elk grazing outside my window. This evening, black-capped chicadees foraged in the pines across the driveway. Nice place. The room, king sized bed for just me, was about $ 100. No pets.(They MEAN it!); no smoking(ditto)
