Columbine Inn

My Husband and Myself stayed here for the 4^th of July weekend. When we went to check in my Husband went in the front door, and turned around to close the door behind him and the grumpy old man at the desk said something not understandable to my Husband, and then yelled at him «That is the second time I told you not to pull the door shut! Because you pull the door shut and it pulls the frame, and then the door doesn’t close right and then I have to fix it! Why do people always pull the door shut, I can’t figure out why! My Husband apologized for closing the door, which is normal to do when you walk into a building. I do not appreciate the way we were treated! We are not children and do not appreciate him yelling at us and treating us like we are! The way he treated us was totally uncalled for!
As for the room, it was very outdated, No water pressure, no coffee for the coffee maker, no ice for the ice maker, old carpet, dirty toilet, very dirty fireplace. It was not worth the money to stay there, which was $ 125.00 a night. If it had not been so late that we had to check in we would have gone elsewhere. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back there!!!

Super cute and affordable place. We don’t require much and always appreciate a hot shower with good water pressure, clean sheets and room, affordability and a quiet place to lay our heads. The owner was great! Professional and personable. Would recommend and will be back soon!

Stayed here while passing through town on a road trip. The man who checked us in was very nice and showed us a room before we booked and answered all questions we had. Price was the cheapest in town and they allowed our dog to stay in the room with us without hassle! The owner is obviously a pet lover and has dogs of his own at home. The room is no frills but very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Toiletries provided are of very good quality, much nicer than one would expect. They even provided nail files! Single room has a refrigerator, flat screen tv, free wifi, with free continental breakfast. Outdoor hot tub on deck nicer than other places in the area all with either indoor or above ground tubs. Motel is quiet and very set back from the road, more private than other motels in the area. You would be a fool not to stay here for the incredibly low price, clean rooms and great service!

The price is one of the cheapest around the area. It is run like a mom and pop hotel which is nice compared to the hassle you might face at big places.
The room was simple and straightforward. Everything was clean and proper and the bed was comfortable. Service was nice and friendly.

Not a fancy place but nice enough. We had a jacuzzi room which was nice. Free WiFi is included. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The only complaint I have is that the locks on the door are not very secure. Only lock is on the door knob. No chain or security lock on the inside.

Very quaint place and a decent price for off season in Estes Park. We had the Jacuzzi sweet so it was roomy but other rooms were a little small. A nice bonus was the small but adequate continental breakfast. Owner was very nice and beds were comfy. Only downfall is our room had a sky light so we were up with the sun. Will definitely return
