I came here in the past a few times but quit coming for fills because I felt like they didn’t do all the steps being they were so fast. Well yesterday I came here only cause I was in a hurry since I didn’t feel well but really needed a fill. The guy I had did a great job and I feel like he did all the steps and took normal time. And there was no wait. The only complaint i guess I’d have is I feel like he didn’t go all the way down to bottom either with acrylic or Polish and I may need a fill sooner. Best way to describe it is I look like I got them done 3 – 4 days ago but really it was yesterday.

I really wanted to like this place and have been twice. My gel nails turned out horribly thick, bumby and the white tips where uneven. I had 2 chip within 4 days. The pedi was ok but what bothered me was my feet looked dried out the next afternoon. The lotions they use here are not good quality. Won’t go back.

Quality isn’t the best. They only give you one gel coat, which makes the manicure wear out a lot quicker. They did however work quick. The pedicure wasnt as clean as I would want it to be. I also wish they were more generous with their coating. The only way I would come back is if I was on a time crunch. $ 16 for pedi. $ 25 for gel frenchtip.

I came to Gorjus Nails looking to get a pedicure and manicure for a decent price. I came here and it was busy so I had to wait for a bit, but it didn’t seem too long thanks to my cell phone distracting me. I had Lisa and she was very nice and helpful from beginning to end. There were times when I was waiting for it to dry and it got messed up from not completely being dried(she said I was done), but she was sweet when I showed her three corrections and she touched it up upon my request. PROS: affordable pricing, friendly nail manicurists, waxing available CONS: busy busy, but they are quick

Walked in for a pedicure. They’re always so nice in there. Typical nail salon accessories. The chairs are clean and the desks are clean. The nail polish colors can be better but it works. The chair massage controllers look like they’re beat up but that’s not a big deal to me. I went for the most inexpensive pedicure($ 16). I wear close-toed shoes often so I don’t want to spend so much for my pedicure and ruin it. For my $ 16, I got a foot massage, scrub, the works. Pretty neat. I came straight from work and was wearing my pumps. My nail lady put some slippers on me and placed my pumps in a plastic bag. I really appreciated that. So cute of her. It’s the little things. Thank you!

I went to get my nails done on Friday and they did a horrible job. I spent $ 80 plus $ 15 dollar tip on a horrible job. I tried telling the owner my nails looked like I needed a fill/ready to be taken off!!! All she did was paint over them with clear nail polish. I’m very aggravated on how they left my nails will not return

Went in for a gel fill. I kept telling the lady they were crooked and she proceeded to finish the job and leave me with crooked a$$ nails. Thanks for nothing.

The girls do a great job and the prices are very reasonable. $ 30 for a full set with gel and $ 23 for a fill with gel. Super fast.

The nails and the service was great! The lady that attended me spent so much time in shaping my nail that I usually don’t get from other nail places. She buffered and shaped to my liking and was really nice. They had great prices too. I will definitely be coming back!

I give this place 3 stars only because of its less-than-stellar amenities, but the manicure I got deserves 5 stars! The girl that helped me was Lisa. The service I get is a full set of regular acrylics without gel on top, just whatever nail polish I choose. I am a real stickler about my nails: I prefer acrylics so that they don’t chip or crack and are always nice, but I do want them to look as natural as possible. I really dislike the fake look of white tips. Lisa spent time making sure that my nails were all even and absolutely perfect. She was really nice. Not very talkative, but smiled and worked efficiently. I have tried MANY different nail salons all over San Diego and this is hands down the BEST manicure I have ever received, seriously! Now for the downside… I came in relatively early, at about 10AM, so there wasn’t anybody except for Lisa and another woman that works there. As Lisa worked on my nails, the other woman stood over us and watched for about 20 minutes. Maybe Lisa is new or something, I don’t know. But either way she is a licensed cosmetologist and I really don’t think it was necessary for the woman to hover so close to us that way. It was pretty irritating because I am all about personal space. Additionally, they seem to lack effective nail-drying machines such as UV lights. I had to hang my hands in front of a tiny propeller fan and make do with some kind of no-light heated drying device that they eventually gave me. Neither seemed to have much effect. Bottom line, be patient with the amenities here, but ask for Lisa and the quality of the work will be well worth it!
