It was a cold night and I was tired of my fav, Lourdes soup. LOL So I ran into this super empty but cool looking spot. It was dead, on a Tuesday. SO I thought hmmm should I even do it. Yum! Ok, I’m new to the phở life, but hey it’s not bad. Actually ok. I didn’t go with the raw meat and soup deal. I stuck to veggies, tofu and some shrimp. THe broth was on point and the veggies and noodles were scrum-deli-umpcious! I would definitely go back and try out some of the rice and bun dishes. Maybe if I was feeling crazy I’d go for the meat. SCARED though! OMG and the BBQ pork fresh spring rolls are something I’ve never tried. BBQ pork over shrimp fresh rolls. all day every day!

Cold night, hungry, and with a case of the sniffles, I came here with my person of affection to try the phở with. We were seated quickly and served water almost immediately. My honey bunny ordered some rice and shrimp, while I opted for some hearty vegetable and tofu phở. The orders came quickly, and although they were good, I would say they were a little lackluster. However, for the price and service, this is a really nice place to come to if you’re craving some nice savory dishes.

There is nothing better than a good Phở for this cold weather. I had the vegetable Phở and it was exactly how I wanted. The flavor and quality of the food were good for a very low price. The server was OK. She was not the nicest but she wasn’t bad either. I will decently go back.

Great food at great prices. I always get a bowl of phở, fried eggrolls and calamari, sometimes the tasty crispy noodle dish and grilled pork sandwich. They are located on Valley Parkway and Rose Street. Dine-in or takeout, their food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommended Vietnamese restaurant when you are in the Escondido area.

I really like this place, the good was good, service was good. Good price, huge portions and kid friendly. It’s a pretty quiet place and that’s always a plus for me. We will definitely be visiting again. Oh and another plus is that we order fried rice and it wasn’t all greasy like a lot of places, it was Delish.

This is our go-to phở restaurant in Escondido! We moved to the area about a year ago and was lucky enough to have stumbled upon this(hidden) gem. It may be easy to miss just passing through East Valley Parkway, as it faces inward onto the Albertson’s shopping center. Their sandwiches are of considerable size for its price — perfect baguette crunch/softness combo and the filling is always full the brim! This is where we turn to for when the boba craving hits too! Never fails to hit the spot! We usually come here with my toddler too, and they readily have a small bowl, plastic utensils, and scissors(to cut the noodles with) without us having to ask. Might be a small gesture, but am glad to experience such exceptional customer service from this establishment’s staff!

First time trying this place while visiting the bf in Esco. Large portions, and they can customize your phở(I chose brisket, well done steak, and shrimp), with a half order of eggrolls-yummy! I ordered to-go. The small phở was a huge portion, more like a large. Broth was a lot more flavorful than I’m used to, but still great. Due to pricing, most phở places don’t put culantro(ngo gai) in to-go orders. Probably the only thing I was disappointed about. I usually cook my own phở, so I compare everything to mine, fixins and all lol. Overall, great food. Would come back!

Had a coupon, decided to to check the place out! The phô and the veggie stir fry was very good. They also have a kid’s noodle bowl for $ 2 that was a good size and the kiddos really enjoyed them. The atmosphere is no-frills, like you’d expect from a noodle house. Comfortable, but not fancy. The value for the price is exceptional, walking out with lots of leftovers! Check out Phô Lena. You’ll be glad you did.

Absolutely love this place. I always get the grilled filet mignon and it is delicious! The other phở places in Escondido cannot seem to get this dish right so phở Lena is the best place for me! The customer service is excellent and I always get my food fast. Love love love phở Lena and their staff!

I came across this place when googling for Phở and wanted to give it a try. The place was clean and seating was good. Customer service was good also. Now for the food… I started off with some pork spring rolls, which were tasty along with the peanut sauce. For the main course I ordered Phở Ga(chicken phở) and it was delicious! As always, I took a few sips of the broth before putting anything in it and it was mmm mmm good. Bean sprouts, mint leaves, and peppers were fresh. Added that to my soup, some plum sauce, Sriracha, and squeezed the lime juice to finish prepping my bowl. Delicious broth, generous amounts of chicken, and good noodles. I was able to enjoy my meal in a nice comfortable atmosphere. I will be a returning customer.

This place is the only place in Escondido at I’ve bought boba from so far.(Just moved here so I don’t know any other place really.) I bought some strawberry slush with boba for the office staff at Oak Hill Elementary and they loved it. Most of them have never had boba before, so it was a fun experience for them. The staff at Lena are always nice and helpful. Also probably one of the cleanest phở restaurants I’ve been to.

Stopped in before closing for take out. Got the raw steak phở, off the waitresses suggestion. Huge portion, good flavors and PLENTY of add ins sent with me. Love that they kept the broth set aside from noodles, veggies and meat Only $ 7 Pipping hot. Very fast. Very friendly.

I wasn’t in the mood for phở, I was in the mood to try what the Vietnamese do so well: vegetarian food I ordered the mixed vegetable dish with fried tofu. I wanted to try that famous«Three color» Vietnamese dessert here but they said they were sold out:( The restaurant looks good and I think its family owned(all the workers are Viet). The dish itself was amazing. I could eat it everyday. If I’m in the mood for phở, I’ll come by and try this place out. I like what I’m seeing and tasting so far!

If you are new to phở restaurants give this one a try. I’m sure you’ll enjoy their egg rolls or spring rolls they are very good here. Sizzling steak ontray as well as vermicelli bowls will keep you coming back for more!!! The phở is ok I prefer it at other spots, check my other posts for better phở in Escondido. But again, pork vermicelli bowl with egg rolls here is hard to beat. I can only think of one maybe 2 spots better. Also their fried rice is average. Every place has their specialties.
