I came here during Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. Right off the bat: don’t come here on holidays unless you want to wait half an hour for seats and even longer for food. I never tried Red Lobster before and I had a gift card so I decided to give it a go even though my boyfriend said there was nothing special. He was right indeed. We came here at around 2PM thinking that it’s past rush hour for lunch so there won’t be a long line. I was wrong. When I arrived, there were around 5 families waiting in line before me. The staff said the wait was around 15 minutes if we wanted to sit at a booth, so we decided to wait. I don’t remember how long we waited(maybe 30 minutes?) because we were just staring off into space thinking about how hungry we were and what we wanted to eat. We expected that during holidays waiters and waitresses will be very busy so the only thing we could do was just be a little patient. After around 3 minutes the waiter came, greeted us with a friendly smile and took our drink order. 5 minutes later, he came back with our drinks and took our order. Around 15 minutes later, our food came out warm not hot. We didn’t mind it because for one waiter to be serving 10 tables means he will be running like a maniac. So it’s understandable that he didn’t have time to wait for the cooks to plate our food and deliver it to our table immediately. I asked for a refill on soda and water and the waiter forgot. So I asked another waiter who was running by and received my drinks after a couple minutes. After asking for drinks, we didn’t see our waiter at all for another 15 minutes. So we were sitting there, waiting to ask for the check. I understand that for American chain restaurants, they cook for people who have a salty preference, but the food was just too salty. I ordered the seafood combo platter and it was extremely salty. My boyfriend thought it was okay but as for me(someone who prefers original and plain flavors than special) the dishes were seasoned too much. The only dish I liked were the biscuits. In terms of size, the dishes were fairly large. But I still think it’s not worth the price and not worth coming here. Maybe I’ll come again, but there’s a very low chance because this restaurant set my expectations too low to even want to try. I’m only giving stars to the staff who were really polite despite the craziness that goes around during holidays. Both the waiters who served us and gave me my drinks kept apologizing for the long wait. Overall, I was happy that I received a gift card from my employer because I definitely would not want to pay for the type of food quality Red Lobster has to offer here.

It’s only getting 4 stars for food quality and taste. Our service was okay. Our waiter, took forever whenever we ordered anything. Drinks, salad and biscuits, then of course the main dishes which were understandable. We’ve dined here on multiple occasions. Every time with subpar service. Anyways food and drinks are always good. No complaints there. Only when we ask for say napkins, lemons, more biscuits, a refill, it takes forever. Somehow we still keep going back for the amazing biscuits, shrimps, and lobsters.

So I have been to this Red Lobster before. The service has been always just ok, but this is the 1st time i felt a need to write a review about my experience. I took my daughter here, after getting our nails done. We almost went to the one in Brooklyn Gateway Mall, but service there is pretty bad so we went to the one on Queens Blvd. When we 1st got there the service wasn’t bad. We were seated quickly, no wait and the server came 5 min later to take drink orders. The drinks came in a timely fashion and we ordered our meal, this is where the fun begins. We ordered off the 4 for 16.99 menu. They didn’t have the soup i wanted, np i just got another. Soup came luke warm, but i didn’t complain because i was hungry, lol. There was something floating in my daughters iced tea, so i asked for another. Then the main course came, it was warm and tasted ok. Then i noticed my broccoli looked like it had mold on it. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came, looked at the broccoli and said it was flour from the cook dusting calamari appetizers! Are you serious. She said there produce comes fresh everyday. I don’t think so. Dessert was ok. Then the check comes, i was charged 17.99 instead of the 16.99. Ok, this is only 1.00 difference per meal, but i wanted them to honor there menu. Asked for a manager again, server is now pissed, manager changed the check but the server started pissing me off with her attitude saying she told me about the menu and the 16.99 mistake, NOT. She just mentioned the soup i wanted they didn’t have. Saying just 1 menu said 16.99, NOT! I had my daughter ask to see another menu, it said 16.99 as well. Wrap up: Think twice before eating here. The service goes from ok to slow, the wait staff can use re training and managers will not comp your food, even when its bad! I got sick from the broccoli i ate before i noticed the molded broccoli. I wont be back to this location.

TERRIBLETERRIBLE service!!! Food was okay but it was hard to enjoy since it took forever. I’m almost certain my waiter was high since he kept asking me to repeat my order, banged on the table, and forgot to bring out certain items. Thirty minute after ordering, he tells me that what I ordered was not available on a Friday. After I asked to see a menu again, he forgot to bring it to the table and even walked past us quite a few times. Later, after finally bringing out most of what we asked for, he forgot to bring one of the entrees out and blamed the person for not ordering, even though he brought out her garden side salad. Five minutes later, he brings out the entrée. Overall terrible experience, telling my friends not to go to Red Lobster.

When it comes to chain restaurants, I do not have very high expectations. I’ve dined at this location several times before writing this review but my most recent and last visit is really the preface of this review. I came here with my boyfriend because we were both drooling thinking about the biscuits for days and was surprised to see people waiting in the outside seating area since the restaurant had MANY empty tables. We were also told to wait 15 minutes. not a big deal. We were seated in a little booth that was extremely dark! It took our waiter 15 to ask us what refreshments we’d like, then for him to get the drinks WRONG after returning 10 minutes later is unacceptable. We kept trying to get his attention but he would put us on hold and never came back. We got another waiter to listen to us but no action was done. The food was mediocre at best. Total time from being seated to getting food was probably an hour and 15 minutes on a slow day.

Here’s a few tips for the kitchen: 1. Stop burning the biscuits. The last two times we were here, we had to send the them back for replacements. 2. Stop over cooking the food, especially the shrimp scampi. It’s dry and tastes like rubber when this happens. The shrimp scampi is my favorite, but only if cooked to perfection. Food was overcooked the last two times we visited. The service is good and the staff are friendly. Please step it up kitchen…

I came here to continue my birthday celebration and boy was I disappointed. I didn’t understand the low ratings but now I get it. I experienced it first hand. This is not my first trip at the rodeo and I’m very surprised that RL hasn’t gotten it’s act together. Let’s talk about the setup shall we. Well for starters being placed in the back is never a good idea. I feel the servers forget about you. You’re sort of overlooked and left there to grab other servers just to get to yours. You get lost in the sauce for lack of better words. When she finally came over, the guard came down and the laughs were overflowing. Nicole is funny and attentive. It’s clear Sunday is the wrong day to dine here because they were out of a lot of items. Be mindful to ask if what you’re ordering is readily available in the kitchen. We decided to do the four course dinner; Soup: New England Clam Chowder, Salad: Caesar, Entrée: Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo, Dessert: Caramel Cheesecake. Orders were placed for drinks, an appetizer, entrees and dessert. We started off with the Mussels in white wine sauce. Albeit tasty this dish needs to be executed better. The sauce was in the bottom and nothing was on the actual mussels. The lemons that came with the dish were used in order to recreate the flavor that was on the bottom. We ended up having to mix it ourselves. Last time I checked this is not a DIY establishment. Entrees: We’re truly best friends because we order the same dish, Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo. What we received ended up being Cajun Chicken Alfredo over Spaghetti. Major fail! Anyone who knows Brie, knows that I hate spaghetti. I didn’t eat it as a child and I refuse to eat as an adult. The manager was called over to rectify the situation. Apparently they ran out of linguini so instead of notifying us about the shortage the kitchen assumed spaghetti would do. What I find interesting is that the manager tried to cover up the shortage by lying to us stating that the menu has been updated and that it comes with spaghetti and not linguini. She took our new orders which she«cooked» herself. She later informed us that she found linguini in the corner somewhere in the kitchen and that’s the last batch. It just went out to another customer. I’m highly annoyed and aggravated at this point. Then 20 mins later we spot someone else with our original order and they also had linguini. #BYEFELICIA

Endless shrimp? I couldn’t figure that out but but we couldn’t find anything I like in the area so I said yes to this one. I only saw commercials about Red Lobster but I never had an urge to go in because it’s a chain restaurant. But as I said previously, never be too picky to enter the unexpected because you never know what you get yourself into. They had endless shrimp on the menu. It means you keep ordering until your stomach is full like a balloon! Oh by the way, of course I did not order that. I had a tough time looking thru the menu with all the glossy and very colorful menu with beautiful photos, I was hoping that my order would come out like that. So I ordered lobster taco, why not? I’m at Red Lobster after all. Our waiter is Louie, a soft talker that I couldn’t really hear but that’s ok because he heard my order very well So no worries Louie as long as you did your job, you’re hired! Hubby ordered endless shrimp. I tried a piece. The food was was a bit salty for me. The service was good.

Its Red Lobster so I didnt expect for my experience to be any different than other time Ive dined at this establishment. Im only giving 3 stars because the service could have been a bit better. It seems that our waiter forgot us on several occasions. Initially his customer service was great but slowly started to diminish perhaps due to the fact that he appeared a bit overworked. No complaints with my food. Everyone knows Red Lobster is known for there chedder bay biscuits. I ordered off of the 4 course menu for 17.99 and got new england clam chowder, caesar salad, shrimp and scallop linguini and caramel cheesecake for desert. My drink however(Angry lobster) was absolutely fantastic. They could go a bit heavier on the alcohol but other than that I loved the cinnamon flavor.

Monday afternoon, very quiet but well worth it! Just got some chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. N-I-C-E. Fresh! Love the new drink selection. Got myself«the Angry Lobster». Highly recommended. And for like a dollar extra you get to keep the glass! I will be craving this one. Will be back for more.

After long day of shopping, we were going to go to Outback Steakhouse(love Steak) and it was going to be a 20 minute wait and the place was empty. Family did not want to wait that long so we went to Red Lobster instead. The hostess said it will be a 2 minute wait and that was not bad. No more than 8 minutes they sat us down. Red Lobster more busier than Outback Steakhouse that’s for sure and you see more families with kids. Really like the ambiance here noticed the fish tank with lobsters at the bottom. We lucked out and had a good waiter by the name of Luis and he was not pushy with getting orders in right away. He said no worries take your time and came back to check up on us to see if we need anything in the meantime. Here are the things we ordered. Definitely, a Cosmo to start after fun filled day of shopping to cool those jets and get off our feet. Should have definitely, ordered their signature drinks for they were bigger in size and looked heavenly from across the table. Appetizer– Mussels with white wine sauce with some grilled toast. The mussels looked dry and the key is to squeeze the lemon quarters all over the mussels and spoon all the juices from the bottom of the bowl which made it taste so good. Sun dried tomatoes were tasty too. Had Salmon with broccoli with rice pilaf which also came with a mixed salad which was really good. You can order the salmon in two sizes. We went for the smaller portion, cause we were going else where for dinner. We also ordered the 4 course which was only $ 17 not a bad deal at all. Get all the cheesy bread which was greasy, salty and very addicting. New England Clam Chowder in small bowl was very creamy. Cesar Salad was fresh. Grilled Tilapia was sweet and delicious with mash potatoes and string beans. Drum roll please for dessert– Caramel Cheesecake. Will be back again for lunch or just for drinks. Great place to hang out after a long day of shopping to shoot the breeze.

The vast disappointment in the quality of the food that red lobster dishes out and where we stand in society regarding seafood. The service was good. The food is bland and medicore at best. While I see a tank of fresh lobsters, I dont get why the lobster tails are overcooked to the point that it is dry. While everybody loves the biscuits, the biscuits cant save a meal. The shrimp needs more seasoning. The best food was the small scallops-nicely fried and flavorful. Why can’t we have better seafood food? I cant think of another main stream seafood option. As a lover for seafood, we deserve better.

The biscuit that they serve for free here is just amazing. The service here is great only with Tim. Tim makes you feel at home, he’s patient and always attentive. Occasionally they have food deals where they have all you can eat shrimp, etc. Its just great here, the food always comes out hot and they always make sure that you’re enjoying your food. Try to make reservations before coming here because the wait at times can be forever. But if you are waiting, this Red Lobster is convenient located in a mall, so you can walk around and kill some time while you are waiting for your seat to be called. Once seated, they treat you well and you never feel pressured to leave even though there is a long line waiting to be seated. I highly recommend this place.
