My sandwich was good but ordered the mac and cheese and was so disappointed. It was bland and not cheesy at all it actually tasted like milk on noodles. Also they put Cheetos i believe on the top its just so odd. The sandwich was good but not amazing and for 2 meals and 2 kids meals it was almost $ 40 wont be eating here again.

The owners are really nice. I had the tri-tip sandwich and mac n’ cheese. It was really tasty. The cheetos on tge mac n’cheese was a tasty surprised. Never thought to do that. however, my 4 star rating is 67.98°\* based on the kindness of the owners.

Food was great. I had the Turkey Bacon Avocado panini, my dad had the three cheese grilled cheese. We both got side salads. Mine had hand carved turkey and a healthy amount of Avocado and bacon. The staff was great and very helpful. We were treated more like we were at a sit down restaurant than a subway type place. I would go there again and suggest it if you like a good sandwich.

As I walked in and asked a few questions and I recieve attitude. Food was standard. I don’t understand why they have four and a half stars.

Not sure how they have 4 ½ stars I ordered the west side story, & just ask for them to put bbq inside the sand which, the old man threw a fit, & said«what’s the whole point of creating a menu if you have to add something extra.» I thought that was very rude. Not sure if he had a bad day but he said already 3 customers changed their order, so why couldn’t I have my order have BBQ added it on. Also it they were in a rush but there was only 4 customers inside the building. Also the cheese was too over powering. The sandwich it self was okay, could of been better. Very simple for $ 12 no thank you I guess I won’t be coming back.

This is favorite place to eat lunch when I’m working in Elk Grove. They have a friendly atmosphere and great tasting food. Raspberry Vinegrette dressing is so good on the fresh salad. I enjoy the flavorful sandwiches too. Mac and cheese is yummy.

I was very tempted to come and give this place a try, however I can say I was very disappointed with my experience. My fiancé I and came in last night for dinner as I was not feeling good and wanted some good soup. So we decided to try this place out. My fiancé was a little skeptical with trying this place however still wanted to try it out since I wanted too. We ordered the Southwest chipotle Chicken Sandwich with a side of broccoli cheddar soup and he ordered a chicken Panini with a side of Mac and cheese. We both were very disappointed with the food as it was very bland and didn’t taste good at all. The broccoli cheddar soup tasted like it was old or had been sitting there for a while. We didn’t even finish our food and the total was $ 24, so not worth it at all! Another thing that got to me was the owner she walked straight passed us and went to another table and was chatting away as I believe they were family friends or family members and as soon as we were done than she decides to walk over and say oh you guys are all done! Like umm ok you were chatting away for more than 30 mins now you noticed us?! NEVERAGAIN!!!

It’s my second time here and I got a phantom vegetarian sandwich. Was very good and flavorful. I also got the chicken enchilada soup very tasty definitely fresh. I will definitely be coming back as a regular to try everything on their menu.

Felt like it was once again time to review my favorite restaurant. It’s been over a year since I last updated. The owner Jim even knows when I’m graduating from USC because of me coming in constantly! It’s been really nice to watch this place succeed and prosper over the last 2 years. Take the positive reviews and the minimal negative reviews as a sign to try this place. They’re wholesome people who are so sincere and passionate about the food they create. And if you’re unhappy then speak to them! I always tell people if you’re not happy with your food or something isn’t right talk to the people if possible! Especially at a place like Bravos that prides themselves on great food and service they will try their best to make things right with you. Not because they feel obligated but because they believe it’s the right thing to do. I still always get the macaroni and cheese as my side dish and I usually end up with the turkey avocado panini which I love. Everything I’ve tried has been yummy in terms of the sandwiches. I try to get a lighter sandwich now a days so I can finish the macaroni. You know, compromise and all? This place may end up not being your cup of tea, but it’s worth a shot to try. There’s a strong chance you’ll walk out feeling satisfied and happy with the service you received. And in the end isn’t that all we really want? Good food, a clean establishment and spectacular service?

Came for the first time last week. I was surprised to see the restaurant empty, but it was 3PM so maybe that’s why. Me and my friend were greeted by a friendly older woman who helped us with a menu after we told her it was our first time there. They have a decent menu, with a few options and varieties. The theme of the restaurant is based on Broadway and popular movies I believe so they have posters everywhere. They have mostly sandwiches, soups, and Mac n cheese. I really wasn’t into a sandwich at the time so I got a tomato basil soup in a bread bowl and a small portion of the Elk Grove Mac n Cheese. The restaurant is kind of small, but since it was just me and my friend, seating wasn’t a problem. You have to find your own seats in the restaurant. Food came out at a decent time. Soup was thick and it tasted pretty good. The Elk Grove Mac N Cheese has bacon in it and some other thing. But it’s incredibly cheesy, but really good. If I wasn’t really full then I would’ve enjoyed it a bit more. The food was good but it didn’t amaze me unfortunately. But it does deserve 4 stars! Would come back, just probably not often. Food is good but it’s not absolutely amazing.

I really wanted to like this place… I really did! I like to support local business. Food took a long time to arrive and the hot sandwiches were cold. I dont mean barely warm, I mean cold. The tomato soup was way too acidic. Food is pretty bland. $ 45 for 3 sandwiches that were all just okay(aside from being cold) means I will not return.

This place is one of the few non-chain eating establishments in Elk Grove which is what brought me to try it. I am so glad I did! In the last two months I have tried the Jersey Boy pastrami sandwich, the Ain’t Misbehaving Southwest Chicken Chipotle, The Beauty and the Beast French dip, three of the mac and cheeses, and the BEST tomato basil soup I have EVER had! The pastrami was amaaaazing, but it is not your typical pastrami. It is more like their delicious version of one. The auju for the french dip, is hands down the most flavorful broth I have ever dunked a sammy into, and the chicken chipotle is savory and filling. The sandwiches are so good, silence falls upon those who eat it as not to interrupt the delicious food coma they are succumbing too. It is like eating your grandma’s homecooked food, that is if your grandma is a chef for foodnetwork. I will be honest and say the mac and cheeses are not my favorite. The toppings are best when mixed into the entire cup of pasta with the addition of a sprinkle of salt. The first time I had the mac and cheese, the cheese sauce was watery, but then on another visit, I took a bite of one my fiancé had ordered and it was much better, but still needed a little salt. However, he thought it was great. I was just informed on my last visit that they do weeknight dinners. Each night is a new dinner option, and they all sounded mighty tasty. I will definitely give them a try on my late nights after a day of work and school, when I am much too ragged to attempt turning on the stove. Very glad Bravo’s has opened in Elk Grove!

Entering this unassuming restaurant I was met with the wonderful smell of smoked Tri-Tip cooking in preparation for one of Bravo’s specially made dinners that I found out are also served from 4 – 8 p.m. Bonus! Bravo’s is small but very clean and has a welcoming interior. I ordered a turkey, bacon & avo pannini with the mac-n-cheese side dish. Everything was delish! The turkey was fresh roasted, not like other sandwich shops that use deli style meats. The mac-n-cheese lived up to the many reviews I read on Unilocal, very creamy and good. The price was very reasonable and the servings are plentiful. The service was very good, too. Another feature that I appreciate very much is the background music. It was just that, in the background. And, if you appreciate Broadway musicals you’ll love the selection that plays here. The restaurant is totally designed around Broadway including the specialty sandwich menu. More and more, restaurants are cranking up their music which causes the patrons to talk louder. All that noise is not condusive to an enjoyable dining experience. Check out Bravo’s … you won’t be disappointed.

Great service, great food, and everything is organic and locally grown. I went with a friend went on a Friday around 2pm, so it wasn’t too busy. It was my first time checking the place out, but my friend actually came here a while ago(and only once) and he was shocked that they remembered him. They even asked if he changed his hair color! They really do get to know their customers; it’s one of those places you go to that makes you feel right at home. We weren’t sure what to order, so the owner gave us a few suggestions from their menu. I read that the mac and cheese was excellent, so whatever I was getting, it was going to have mac and cheese accompanying it. I ended up getting the Beauty and the Beast, a French dip sandwich with the New Orleans mac and cheese, which was loaded with jalapenos and hot links. My friend got the Ain’t Misbehavin’, which was a Southwest chicken chipotle sandwich with the Little Italy mac and cheese, and that was loaded with pepperoni and jalapenos. All was delicious! What made our meal even better was the absolutely refreshing fruit water. It seems you can’t go wrong with anything you order off of the menu. If you’re in the area, you should check this place out. You won’t be sorry.

Since this adorable Broadway-themed soup and sandwich shoppe opened, I have been wanting to try it out. Last night I stopped in to order a bowl of minestrone soup to go after work. My order was filled and processed in less than five minutes and everything was packaged to perfection. My soup was labeled correctly and came with packaged utensils and two complimentary slices of bread(which were delicious, I didn’t even know I liked brown wheat bread!?) The ambience is definitely family friendly and everything was very clean, organized, and fully stocked. I truly appreciate the organic, farm to fork movement which is exactly what this business strives for with their menu selections. I will definitely be back here again to try something new and different. Way to go Bravo’s!

FRESHFRESHFRESH!!! The vegetarian sandwich vegetables were amazingly crisp and fresh. As I was walking in the door, I saw the cook rolling little dumplings for the chicken and dumpling soup, so naturally, I’d want to order it. Good choice, Julia. It was delicious. The music was kind of loud and of an annoying genre, so I didn’t spend much time in there. Other than that, I can’t wait to go back to try more stuff! Thank you!

I have seen this place come up on multiple Unilocal searches… and I was pleased to find out my boyfriend was planning to take me here for lunch today! The place is small, but the menu is long! I had to sit down and figure out what I wanted to get… so many choices! A few things stood out to me but I went for the egg salad sandwich. I haven’t had one in a while, so I had to get it. It was very creamy, and very delicious! They put celery pieces in the sandwich, which they did state in the menu, but I picked all of it out since I hate the taste of celery. Still a great, simple sandwich. Possibly a bit overpriced though. I ordered the macaroni and cheese on the side — wow, one of the best I’ve had! I definitely want to go back and order that again. I noticed they have a list of different macaroni and cheese plates listed by the register(not on the menu) as entrée plates, and a lot of them sounded super interesting with jalapenos, bacon, etc. The service was the highlight of this spot! They were so friendly and welcoming once we walked in, gave us suggestions and explained the menu a bit. The food came out fast, and they came back to check on us to see how it was, including the owner himself! He was very excited that it was our first time at Bravo’s and everything about the staff felt very genuine. Before we left, the nice woman even brought us a couple of mints. When we left, everyone seemed to be in the back, so we didn’t get to say goodbye or thank you. Once we were in the parking lot, we heard a loud«thank you» and noticed the woman ran outside the door to say goodbye to us… talk about great customer service :) Another unassuming sandwich shop that really delivered! I might even want to come back here tomorrow ;) Stop getting your soggy sandwiches at all of those chain and franchise shops, and support your local sandwich shops instead!
