Friendly Nails

Rita did my fill and pedi. I must say I was extremely satisfied with her work! I’ve waited a few days to see how they held up before I reviewed and they are still just as lovely. Glad I found this place, I will be returning!

It started off well, they seated me and a lady started doing my pedi and then the guy — I didn’t get his name — started doing my gel manicure and when he was cleaning my thumb he clipped my skin and now it’s hurting and throbbing so bad. He didn’t even apologize when it happened he acted like nothing happened. Then u showed him it was bleeding and he put alcohol on it. He didn’t offer me a discount or any apology. I really wanted to like this place but the customer service is off. The bad review is mainly for the guy.

I received great service from Tina! Very nice and was not aggressive with my feet! This was my first time here! Luckily we had found this open compared to 5 others which were closed on July 4^th, but overall great service! Also I realize that Tina remembers names, which is a big one up in this industry!

The people at Friendly Nails are truly friendly. I’ve only been in there four times now, but they recognize me and make me feel like an old friend. They are thorough but gentle, and I am always pleased with the result. An added bonus-​they speak fairly good English :-) I feel like I am able to communicate with them quite easily. I have tried many nail salons in the area but this is by far the best.

Absolutely love this nail salon! Went every two weeks for close to three years. Very friendly, professional place and EVERYONE working there takes their time and does an amazing job! If I had moved cross country I would still be going every two weeks.

First time at friendly nails is it was quite the opposite! Nail tech completely messed up my nails, the shape was very short and when another nail co worker tried to help, she was very rude to me. The owner stepped in and did her best to fix but didn’t even offer me a discount or anything for the bad unfriendly service (no customer service here). I paid for my service and will NOT be coming back.

Friendly service! I rare get my nails done but when I do I like them perfect and they aced it! The staff is super attentive and nice! And OMG! The pedicure is well worth the money (it’s not like it’s too expensive but still) def worth going to! The foot massage is amazing and relaxing. One of the best nail salons I’ve been too! Def going back!

After raving about this place to a girlfriend, we decided to meet there and get mani pedis. I have had nothing but great service, until this visit. My friend asked for a zebra design and when she tried to show the lady, she insisted she knew what to do… she ended up with leopard. I never had the chance to ask for any design, and was told I was done even though there was polish on my skin. Very sloppy job and not worth the money. By the time our pedicures were done (2 hours) we didn’t have time for our manicures. When we told them we had to go to pick up our kiddos, they got this disgusted look on their face and rushed us out. Not sure if either one of us will be coming back… even though I love the owner Rita and her work, she is always busy when I go in…

It was my first time here and the place was great. The chairs were all new and They were inviting. The best part about my whole manicure/​pedicure experience was the hot pillow that they give you for the back of your neck while sitting in the massage chair. I got the reverse French manicure and at first the lady was taking her time, But as soon as more customers came she started to rush. She forgot to massage one hand, and some of the French tips were crooked. Also, right when I came in, I asked if They had matching Polish for their gel colors. They said They Did. After my manicure and pedicure I noticed that my toes were darker than my finger nails and that bugs me when my nails do not match. I’ll probably go back and ask for a different lady and try it again for the second time.

Ugh! It was so expensive! Just to get my nails done. Not even the worst part, the lady who did my nails screwed up on color THREE TIMES! She tried to give me a hideous puce and straight to my face TOLD ME I LIED!!! Are you kidding me? She was so insulting! And when I told the owner, she said her employee said something in Vietnamese! She looked flustered when she said it like SHE WAS THE ONE LYING!

first time here for a pedicure, and I will tell you I will NEVER go any place else. Henry is amazing. So relaxing.
I have been going here for a while for a manicure and they are so good and so friendly all the people are great. I see Rita for my nails.

I wish I could post the picture of my latest nail designs!!! I love going in every month and getting something totally unique and ME! I always leave with my nails looking gorgeous and I get lots of compliments on my nails. Rita is great and always willing to try whatever I want done on my nails. If you love original beautiful nails then you need to go and try Friendly Nails in Elk Grove. I drive all the way from Antelope down to Elk Grove just to get my nails done… but it’s worth it!!! Love you Rita!

So, today was my first time at Friendly Nails and they were absolutely amazing! Their service was impeccable. The way I wanted to design my nails were quite intricate, but the owner (didn’t catch their names) did it perfectly, she definitely has skill.
The lady I had was very sweet, although it was Christmas Eve and I last-​minutedly called in to do a mani-​pedi with my BFF, she did not rush me at all even though her «Honey» (Husband) was waiting for her. :P
The owner tried to take over her and said in their native language, «Here, let me paint her nails. I’ll do it faster, then we can all leave.»
Her: «No, it’s alright. If you want to leave, then go. Leave the keys and I’ll close the store tonight» and took her time doing my nails perfectly. Although, I got the basic mani-​pedi w/​Gel Nails & Design ($ 57– All Nails designed) the massage was amazing. Felt awesome having them massage my arms & legs!
Cons: They don’t speak English, well.
(I Speak and understand their language.)
Their price is kind of expensive, lol. Everything definitely adds up! But depending on design (the price may be worth it!!) :p
Their store was very cute! And, I will definitely be coming back again for my next mani-​Pedi. I would absolutely recommend this place!

— I would give them all 5 stars if the owner didn’t tease me (Constantly, my entire visit.) about my broken-​Vietnamese (due to me pretending I didn’t know how to speak, so they wouldn’t ask me a bunch of questions.) Lol. & didn’t rush the lady doing my nails.

I love this place! I have my nails done by Rita. My whole family goes to friendly nails and we will never go anywhere else! It is CLEAN and never have to wait a long time. The atmosphere is very relaxing.

This salon is clean and friendly, and they did a great job. My nails look great. They took their time on my manicure, and I will definitely come back to this place.
