Roma’s Italian Bistro

I’ve passed through twice in the last few months… 1^st time because of the location adjacent to the hotel parking lot. 2^nd time because I drove across town to pick up a pizza. Both meals were very enjoyable and fast service too.

Very good. I stopped here passing through on a road trip. The pizza was delicious and the staff is very friendly. I think the ambience leave this place very nice charm and I would recommend it if you’re in the area. Thank you for the tasty dinner.

Reviews were so true. We decided to stop at the sleep inn and saw this place in the parking lot. Since it was raining, we didn’t want to go far so read reviews and they were correct. Great service, great food and inexpensive. Good italian is hard to find, especially when you are a native New Yorker! The veal parm and chicken marsala was excellent. You can tell they have their local regulars as well as travelers. For a thursday night in early June, it was getting busy!
This place will not disappoint. It was nicer and larger inside than it looks and sign only says, pizza, calzones, subs but it is so much more. We will make it a point to stop here again next year on another road trip out east.

Average at best. Salad was shit. Calamari average at best. Linguini with clam sauce ok. Was not offered or brought any bread which really sucked. Then again their bread probably wasn’t any better than the rest of the menu. Safe to say that I will not be coming back.

Excellent. We arrived at our hotel and was told about this restaurant. We are very pleased. Terrific male server and excellent Pasta Sampler. Great place to eat with lengthy menu items. Too bad we live in Georgia!

Lobster ravioli with mushroom & shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. The bread/​rolls came with them are great too. Love them!!! They are awesome. The amount is too much for two girls tho, even after a long drive.

We came here for convenience and it’s rating on Unilocal.Good we did… all was really good. The basil tomato pizza was excellent. The chicken marsala was very good. The Sampler was delissshhh! The servers are all courteous and attentive. Prices are reasonable for the fare. And the place is CLEEEEEAN. A definite nice surprise on this road trip. Thanks guys!

Appetizer sampler was sad. Chicken Alfredo had no flavor. Pasta sampler was overlooked and flavorless. The bread was burnt. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the waiter was good.

We weren’t sure what to expect because it was late and the restaurant is just this tiny place. When we got in, it was much bigger than it seemed. The staff was super friendly and the food was pretty darned great. My meal came with a salad and I risked it and tried the house dressing. MAN, I was pleasantly surprised. I am so glad I did. My only regret is that I will most likely never get to have it again.

Probably the best hidden gem in Elk City, most of the people in town forget about how great this Italian eatery is because it’s on the outside edge of town. Construction has been a nuisance for them for the last year as well. They have some amazing pasta dishes such as the chicken Jerusalem and the chicken Marsala are our favorites. The pizza is also awesome and the garlic bread with cheese is a great appetizer. And if you save room for dessert it’s worth getting a to go box to try the cannoli OMG! And my wife loves the tiramisu. The service is always friendly and the food is great.

Found these guys after a Unilocal search. Parking lot was not to full and I almost passed it by. I am glad I did not. As soon as I entered I noticed the place was clean. Quickly seated and delicious warm bread brought to the table. I ordered pizza. It was excellent. I will be back to try some of the other dishes.

What a treat to find a good restaurant right in the parking lot of our motel! The menu is extensive, with photos that make you salivate. It was difficult to make a choice but I let my eyes choose & went with the pasta sampler. A cheese lovers delight. It was very good but a little on the salty side — would have been excellent with less salt. My husband had chicken Parmesan & would agree with my take. We will definitely come back & try other menu items. The Italian waiters were friendly & efficient.

OK my wife and I are staying at the sleep in next door to this place. The front desk recommend it for dinner, but when we glanced at it from the hotel window our first thought was hmm, this place looks a bit shady.
Do not judge this Gem by the outside appearance! Best Italian we have had in recent memory, and in rural Oklahoma no less. The pasta sampler was a perfect amount after a long drive all the way from California.

Very pleasant surprise … I wasn’t expecting to find great service, great food, at a great value tonight. The service was amazing without being pushy and the food was delicious. Well done!

Had the sandwich and a Cannoli, both were very good, looking forward to coming back next
Time in Elk City!

Stopped here randomly on the way out of town and was glad I did. The food here is really delicious. The staff here is very nice. I got the veggie pizza and the ingredients tasted so fresh.

This was the last thing I expected to find out in rural Oklahoma… a good quality Italian restaurant where the workers actually speak Italian to each other and play Italian music? Yes, please!
Ambiance? Quiet, if anything… there wasn’t another soul in the place for a Saturday lunch. I feel like they’re more of a dinner place. The Italian music kept things interesting, so that’s alright.
Service? Pretty good. Our guy was nice.
Food? Really good! I was boring and got fettuccine alfredo… pretty yummy. My dad’s eggplant parmesan… it was AWESOME!!! My mom also said that her manicotti was great… I didn’t try it, I’m not a fan of ricotta.
They have a lot more authentic Italian dishes than you typically see in Italian restaurants in areas like this… I didn’t really order one… not like fettuccine is exotic… but still, if I lived around Elk City I’d totally go back.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here. It’s a clean and friendly place to stop and enjoy a meal. The food was very good and the service was great! We would stop by again the next time we are in the area. If you love Italian food you won’t been disappointed.

I had an excellent dinner, took it to go. Large portion, well seasoned, and very tasty. I would give 5 stars, but, I asked for it spicy, and include some packs of crushed red pepper. None was provided, and the dish had none within it. Yes I would eat here again.

If you’re looking for a quick off and back on stop along I40 consider Roma’s Italian. Very fast and friendly service. Bread is excellent and pasta dishes are fine. Their version of carbonara is different but interesting.
