While we were driving cross country with our dogs, we stayed at many La Quinta Hotels. The whole La Quinta Brand impressed us. Almost every hotel we stayed at was pretty good! The La Quinta Inn at Elk Cities is great! The beds were nice and firm. The hotels is clean, and even with it being pet friendly you can’t notice that a dog has stayed in your room. They carpets, beds, sofas. everything is clean. There’s no wet dog smell ever. It’s super easy to reserve a room online. I would recommend this La Quinta for anyone travelling through Elk City. Check out the pictures I took.

Was very happy to have a nice clean friendly place to stop for the night with our 2 dogs. We will be checking out more of the Laquita inns on our way cross country. :)

We stayed here for one night. The room was clean, and the person who helped us check in was very nice. However when we were ready to depart I asked the woman at the front desk to give the room a «sniff» test so that we wouldn’t get hit with a fraudulent smoking charge(which happened at a Holiday Inn express). She seemed irritated by my request and grudgingly came back to our room to check it out. All and all her rude demeanor was extremely off putting.

Up to date facilities. Clean well equipped rooms. Courteous and professional staff. If your passing through like I was, I recommend this place.

Nice, clean and comfortable. Plenty of grass for our dog. Got dinner to go from the Home Cooking Café across the street at the Ambassador motel. It is a hole in the wall café but the food was good, cheap, and the staff very friendly.

Styed there last night. Room was nice. We slept well. Enjoyed the keurig coffee maker, comfy beds, nice soaps and shampoos, and cleanliness. Great place for our furry baby! Lots of grass. My husband loved the gravy n biscuits. Not so good stuff — lampshade missing from our bedside lamp(cosmetic, but ugly). No good restaurants within walking distance. We were hauling a trailer and found good parking, so didn’t want to leave. And once again, the hotel bar was not open. It has a great little bar area and lounge — but totally dry.

This is a brand new La Quinta Inn and Suites, and it is NICE. However I will warn you as of 8÷30÷15 there is road construction on the exit. It would be advised to be sober as you get off this exit because you have 6 inches of distance on each side of the road The right side is cement barriers, the left side is a one foot drop off. Kind of like a driving game! lol. I digress… Walking into the lobby you just look around and see it well taken care of. Rich, warm colors really are inviting. The desk clerk, Adrian, is very personable. He just made me a duplicate key because I locked myself out! THAT is not why he is so amazing. He just understands customer service, and is very professional. My room… is great. Nice desk for my laptop, flat screen on the wall, fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and five different types of coffee, free breakfast… king size bed… excellent choice weary traveler… LATERTHATNIGHT… I went to take my pups to potty about 9:30 pm. Beautiful night… but I did not know this was the land of 10,000 frogs! I swear there were frogs everywhere. Try getting dogs to potty when they see these things they have NEVER seen before hopping everywhere! lol. They are not harmful, and actually cute as heck, but I finally gave up trying to get my chi chi Terrier to do her business, because she was frog focused!

Me and my Family go from New Mexico to Arkansas on I-40 about twice a year and we have tried just about every hotel from Amarillo TX, to Oklahoma City and have not found the right hotel. Till Now! The La Quinta Inn & Suites in Elk City Is very nice for the Price. The rooms are very roomy and clean. The service at the front desk could be better but overall this hotel is very nice! Me and my family will be staying here when traveling from New Mexico to Arkansas from now on!

Though this hotel was neat and clean, I was a little disappointed in this place. I’ve stayed in several LaQuintas all over the country with my pets and this one seemed less pet friendly than any other I’ve been in. It had nice grassy areas outside for pottying our dog, but the room was small(especially because we also had a pack n play to set up for our kiddo). I was also a bit annoyed that when I made the reservation I asked what their pet policy was and was given a generic response, then upon check in, was asked to sign an additional paper with their complete policies on it(including breed restrictions). As an owner of a dog that frequently appears on breed restricted lists, I was annoyed that we were only told about the restrictive policies when it was too late to change plans if necessary. :-(

The rooms are clean and comfy and I look forward to staying here when I am in town. My only grief is I wish some of the front desk people were more pleasant. Seems like it’s the same lady that others have had issues with.

New to area and beautiful inside and out. Offer beer and wine selections in the evening for small fee. Wonderful service by friendly staff. Breakfast offers sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy along with cereal, fresh made waffle and muffins/bagels and toast. Fresh fruit and great coffees with flavored creamers! Love this hotel!

Friendly staff, although only one fat woman in the am was not friendly and seem to have an attitude. She asked how was the stay upon checking out and I let her know that it was fine except the loud foot traffic and door slamming coming from the side entrance to the North parking lot. She didn’t say or do anything. The room we had was new and very big. In fact, it seemed to fit people more than 7″ tall. It reminded me of an office or commercial style rooms. Definitely was not cozy. Its funny how these supposedly«Green» chains remind guests about reusing towels and yet serve their continental bfast or drinks in styrofoam disposables. GETWITHIT!
