Front desk was very kind. They accepted our dogs over night with no charge. BUT it was pretty filthy. Towels had stains and bathtub had hair in it. Building was old and run down. I didn’t want to touch anything in the room because it just felt so dirty. It looks decently clean until you really examine it. But you get what you pay for $ 45 a night.

We came in late the front desk lady was very nice. The rooms were clean. It had a fridge and microwave. Good night’s rest

The building was crappy. Rooms were a decent size. We arrived late at night and left rather early in the am, so can’t say anything much about staff. They allow pets which was great for our long trip, animals were happy about it. No place to eat nearby though. I give it a three simply because it was a sleep and go type stay. Beds were sleepable. Would recommend as a one nighter.

Stayed here while traveling on a roadtrip, definitely cheap cost $ 50 for a 2 bedroom on a Saturday night. Motel 6’s are very hit or miss. The newer ones are usually pretty good but this is a older one, paper thin walls so you hear everything. Not great but not wretched either, room was about a 4⁄10 on the cleanliness scale. Front desk lady was very nice and helpful. If you need a decent nights sleep Id pay $ 15 – 20 more and go to one of the better ones in the area.

Do not stop here. I’ve stayed in motel 6 before and it was a decent experience, but not with the one in Elk City. The place is gross, the floors are filthy and the entire building smells badly of cigarette smoke. If you can, plan to stay elsewhere if driving through Elk City. No good.

Really great, helpful clerk is why I gave this two stars. Room was okay, but I don’t think there’s an ounce of insulation … Noisy all long!!! Upstairs neighbors sounded like they were moving furniture. Got in close to midnight, I think we *might* have gotten two hours sleep. Although our room was in a bank of non-smoking rooms, the corridor reeked! Hold your nose and bring heavy duty ear plugs of you stay here. It definitely wasn’t worth the money for getting no sleep. I feel like we should have kept on driving.

Well first of all the mattress didn’t have bed bugs, score! Secondly, the TV was from the early 2000’s not the nineties, score! Thirdly, laminate floors instead of hardwood which I personally think is s good thing for the obvious reasons… On the motel 6 spectrum all these factors are what make it deserving of FIVE stars!

Friendly staff, fairly priced compared to anyplace around here. Not so clean, found a LIVE bug in bed & towels had stains on them. They do not provide shampoo or conditioner so make sure you have your own! If not there is a walmart 5 mins down the road to get travel size ones. they do have washer here. comfy beds for the price and rooms are decent sized. GOODLUCK!

I’ve never stayed in a motel before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I needed somewhere to stop late at night and this was one of the last places with rooms available. It was what I expected of a motel 6. It was clean but smelled of smoke throughout, even upstairs in the nonsmoking room I stayed in. My only complaint would be the bed: hard mattress, rough sheets, flat pillows. It suited my needs for the night, however, so I wouldn’t really say there is anything«wrong» with this motel. It depends on your preferences; it is by no means aesthetically pleasing, nor does it have any amenities, but if you need a place to crash and don’t mind low rated sleep comfort then it is just fine. It also allows pets for free and is pretty cheap which are both pluses.

This Motel 6 has clean rooms, friendly staff and a great price for the area considering it’s one of few hotels. There is not much good food nearby so if you are checking in late make sure to stop by the local Romas or Portbello Grille or else it will McDonalds for you! If you prefer a smoking room make sure to book early because they seem to fill up quickly as they have a contract with a trucking company that keeps their rooms pretty much filled. They called me twice before I checked in to ask if I still wanted a smoking room! Haha The only real downside was the room had a really funky smell… Not really bad like trash or anything but like too much cleaner was used maybe to cover up the smoke smell. It smelled like a mixture of pinesol and rubber! Luckily we had a candle and got used to the smell pretty quickly and were only there for about 9 hours. As with most motel6’s if you’re looking for a cheap and easy place to stay you will be comfortable here. ‘S

Reviewing on low dollar place not easy. Start with the up side, front desk was nice and helpful finding the ground floor room I wanted. Room was clean like 7 on a scale of ten nothing stood our as nasty. Hard wood floor was surprise but I hate motel carpet gives me the creeps. Nice beds sheets and blankets. Frig micro, good channel line up on flat screen tv. The bad at about 1 – 2 am guys came into room upstairs brought the party home with them for about an hour. Lots of stomping boots on the floor. I did not complain to desk & went back to sleep. Would stay again due to price, clean and good tv list to watch.
