This place has probably the best Japanese bulgolgi in El Paso. It’s a drive for is who live on the east side but if we’re in the area it is our go to lunch spot. The service has always been very friendly and pleasant. The ladies are there to help coach you if you’re a first timer so don’t be intimidated!

Get out of the deep fried rut for Americanized Asian food. Authentic Korean BBQ food is cooked at your table by you. The way to eat it is place some sauce in the lettuce, garnish with fresh bean sprouts, marinated cucumber, roasted jalapeño, fresh garlic slices, and sliced peppers, add the meat you just cooked, roll it up like a burrito and eat! Yum yum! Add kim chee, seaweed, tofu, potato, and spicy turnips for your next wrap! Mix and match for varied flavors. I recommend it! The place is very modest not fancy more like a smll hometown Korean hangout. 4 stars if it were decorated more but definitely worth coming for the BBQ!

The place looks pretty run down from the outside, but still we decided to try it. When we were standing at the entrance not sure if we should sit ourselves or not, the waiter(an) eyed us from afar. She did not say hi or smile. She handed us menus and walked off. Her scorned look made us feel uncomfortable as did the dirty floors, but alas we were there and decided to try it anyway. Besides the rude, the food was not horrible but not so great either. The place was empty yet our food took more than 20 minutes to get served. For the price, I expected better quality meat. Total was $ 30+ tip for 2 adults. Needless to say, we are not returning.

This place is delicious but a little bit pricy for the food. We went on a Sunday and it was nice and quiet. The staff were really friendly and the food was good. I probably wouldn’t pay that much for it again but it was good. I recommend going during lunch for a lunch special

Very good food with lots of delicious(free) extras. The waiter was very nice, and the place was pretty empty. It was very expensive though, over 40 dollars for just two people.

So delicious. Service is amazing! The mackerel is good, the sweet and sour chicken is good, bulgogi is delectable. Many side dishes that are great! They even serve sushi and have a great Korean grocery store next door where they sell a lot of great ingredients and snacks.

Loved the side dishes! Different variety of pickled dishes. I’m not savvy enough to name them all but I could pick out kimchi, seaweed, potatoes, cucumbers, turnip, zucchini, and tofu — I think. It was all very good. I had the sweet and sour chicken very large portion and very tasty. My hubby had the bi bam bap and the empty bowl should tell you how much he liked it.

Seoul restaurant has great tasting food since I arrived here in 2013 they’ve expanded the dining area and the food got better, the prices are reasonable. They even now have a sushi bar and the service is good. recommended by a soldier of 21 years food service operations 18 years being military. Try the samgyup sal.

The food there taste decent but I think it’s a little bit pricey for the quality. The staff isn’t so friendly. It looks small from the outside but they have so many seats available. You can connect the tables for a big group. They recently started sushi. Sushi chef from Shogun teppanyaki sometimes comes here to help. Their sushi is not so fresh and very expensive. I don’t recommend you to eat there. There’s way better places in EP if you wanna eat sushi.

There is only 1 word for this place: WOW! This was our first venture with Korean food and now I wonder where it’s been all my life. Two words of caution. It really helps to have someone with you that knows Korean food and menus. Also, be prepared for more food than any normal person can eat. Ask for take out boxes when you place your order. Our experience was so good, we will be back at opening time tomorrow… and the next day… and the next… Look at the photos posted on Unilocal to help decide what to order. Or just point to something on the menu and you won’t be disappointed.

We came here twice, and we won’t be returning :( Pros: The renovations were nice. The waitress was friendly(she did have a rude tone but her intentions seem well). Lots of side dishes! Cons: The water tasted coppery. The Korean tofu soup was just spicy-broth with chunks of cut up tofu. Umm… we wanted the authentic Korean soft tofu soup, not broth with only tofu chunks. Wish I took a picture! Lesson learned: don’t order if it’s not on the menu. The Korean ribs were too chewy. My mouth hurt from chewing so much. The japchae(Glass noodles) tasted like it had MSG. We were super thirsty/dry mouthed afterwards. It didn’t help that we only had coppery-tasting water to wash it down. So sad we didn’t like this place. Glad there’s other good Korean restaurants in El Paso though!

This place is nothing short of amazing. The restaurant had plenty of parking even though it’s a shared parking lot with all the stores in the strip. I could write endlessly about how good this restaurant is, but I’ll just do pros and cons so you spend less time reading and more time eating there. Here is what we got. Kalbi(short ribs) and beef bulgogi. Pros: Generous portions compared to other Korean restaurants. Food is amazing, especially the short ribs. They don’t skimp on the ban chans. The hostess(probably the owner) was very nice. Asked how our food was several times. Recommended other dishes for our next visit. Cons: Nothing — really, there are no cons I can think of. If you know your Korean dishes and have been to good Korean restaurants in the past, you won’t be disappointed when you eat here. TL;DR Excellent food, excellent service. Go with the kalbi, bulgogi, or bibimbap if it’s your first time.

I am a regular here. I really missed good Korean food when I left NJ and was on the hunt for a place. Pro: Great food, I can see the cook time to time and she reminds me of my grandma Side dishes tastes good and have a large variety Large portions Lunch specials are perfect portion of the full meals If you know certain Korean meals, they make it even if it’s not on their menu Can box the side dishes if you want Cons: Service can get really bad if you come in when the workers are eating I go to this place every Monday for lunch. I work nearby and this place is a treat for me once a week. There is another waitress other than the one I’m familiar with who can’t speak English well and I’ve heard service with her isn’t that great but since I speak Korean I haven’t really had any problems.

It breaks my bulgogi-loving heart that my experience at Seoul restaurant just barely earned them two stars(spelled bulkoki on their menu). My friends and I were hunting were some delicious Korean food — one friend was previously stationed in Korea. With high expectations and fingers crossed, we landed on Seoul restaurant on Dyer. The restaurant was one very spacious room and it was fairly empty was we arrived at 6 pm. Didn’t bother me since it was a weekday, but this should’ve been the first indication of the night. One thing Seoul restaurant did well were their countless side dishes. Our waitress(although reluctant) even described each side dish for us. Unfortunately, our side dishes and appetizer all came out at the same time as our main dishes. The timing was a little odd, but no big. I was the most disapointed with my bulgogi(beef) which very dry and lacked flavor. The oil/sauce at the bottom of the hot dish had an unpleasant taste too. it was difficult to stay positive at that point. The words of a fellow Unilocaler when I shared my disappointing evening: «write an honest review so I don’t waste my gas». Don’t waste your time, money, or gas! These mediocre(at best) dishes were also on the expensive side. There has got to be a decent Korean restaurant in El Paso; I’m just suggesting that this isn’t your best bet. I will not be coming back.

I have been here before and this time I went back with two friends. Got our table right away and both of my friends ordered Gal Bi and I ordered the spicy soup(Yuk Ga Jahng). When the side dish(Ban Chan) came out, there were more choices than when I was here. That is way more than most of the other Korean restaurants, except few in Korea I have been to. The service was very good as before and the Gal Bi was thick and tasty. The spicy soup was good, but could have used a little more spice for my taste. When I am back in the area, I will of course come back here.
