THEONLYPLACEINELPASO where you can find KOREANSOJU! I think Han Mee is better than Arirang Market in terms of selection and authenticity. I mean it looks EXACTLY like one of those neighborhood Supermarkets I saw when I was stationed in Korea last year. They sell all sorts of items ranging from food, soft drinks/juices, ice cream, snacks, condiments, kitchen/household goods/items, Korean Beauty products, and a wide variety of prepared banchans and Fresh Kimchi. When I saw that there was NO alcohol to be found, I asked the lady behind the counter if there is any place in EP where I can get Soju. She was surprised that I know Soju and asked me if I was Korean and if I was in the Military. When I said Yes, she said OK and went to the back and brought back two bottles of Soju for me lol Kinda weird but yeah I got myself some Soju so… excuse my language but FUCKYEAH! I also got some banchans and Kimchi because I cannot eat Ramen Noodles without them.

It is the best place to find east Asian products, food, and cooking utensils. They have a variety of noodles and dried herbs & vegetables to whip up an excellent cuisine. Need soy sauce, they sell from small bottles to cans. Yeah, large 1 gallon metal cans which will last a while, even for the most fervent lover of this condiment. You can make your very own dim sum out with the products they have here. Finally, they also have a variety of Pocky sticks that aren’t available at the regional supermarkets. So we go to pricing. It is a bit higher than what you see in SoCal, but most of the seaport & freight airport hubs are a bit far from El Paso. That explains a bit on the pricing on some products. But there are others that are fair or even equal to supermarkets in the region.

Wow. Nice variety. Lots of rice choices, seaweed, rice cookers etc. not just one or two types or brands. Smell good soaps, incense, chopsticks galore(great for hairdo’s too!) Beautiful dishes, interesting cookware, packaged nice enough for gift giving, the only place I’ve seen a salad spinner in a while. I love mine! 5 zillion teas, noodles and sauces, Candy, cookies, sweets, fresh fruites and veggies, lots of facial masks and cosmetics to try. Tiger balm! Red and white! Being new to the area, I didnt know where I was to find that! Schweet! Wall art and videos too. Nice, neat, clean place. Will be back!

Narrow aisles filled with a chaos of Korean products, but at least the prices are there. A little expensive for my taste but run by a Korean lady and while we were there, at least 6 other Koreans were walking around the store so you know that this is at least authentic. I probably won’t be back unless I’m going to get Korean things though…

Korean supermarket with Asian goods. Thank you for existing so my boyfriend can still maintain his Asian heritage. Though your prices may seem ridiculous, and you are really really far, at least you are located right next door to a bomb ass Korean restaurant.(See Seoul Restaurant)
