Not so many early morning options in the westside of El Paso. Decided to come here at 4am then whataburger on red and resler. They don’t know how to melt cheese. Came for a make your own omelette and a glass of orange juice. Your suppose to get three topping for a make your own omelette. Instead I got charged for my three toppings. 18 bucks for Chinzy toppings too. I’m sending corporate a letter for this blatant rip off. Lukewarm food, El Paso claim to fame. Village inn is a step up but they weren’t open at 4:30 am. If anyone gives a place like this three stars or up has no taste. This is no magnolia café in Austin. Best omelette in Texas. They melt the cheese. Comes out hot. Decent size toppings. Kirby lane is also good too. This ihop? It’s a disgrace.

One of the Best IHOP experience I’ve ever had! The service was amazing! Our server was Sergio who was excellent. We were a party of 10 and he took our order, made sure it was made correctly, checked in on us and once we were done and had already paid our tab he offered us drinks to go! Loved it! Thank you for the awesome breakfast!

I usually don’t eat at this IHOP because I know what the service is like, but today was Christmas Day and most everything else except fast food was closed. All things considered, we might have been better off! It took forever to get our food, my daughter’s one egg was basically raw, my sirloin tips were tough and chewy, and they messed up the order more than once. The waitress kept blaming the kitchen, but I’m not so sure. It also took almost 25 minutes for them to come back with my husband’s debit card. They really need to invest time in training their people. Terrible service!

One of the worst IHOP experience I have had so far! I would give 0 or negative stars if possible. I went there with two of my tour fellows and experience was bad! — we told the server we were short on time, still took 30 minutes to get a freaking scramble — extremely rude behavior when asked about when food will come — I have never seen such ‘scrambled’ eggs(except when I cook ;)) — Server got our check wrong by grouping items incorrectly, even after specifically requesting otherwise — server got food for other four ppl before us May be the server was new or clueless or both; but there are plenty of other restaurants here. Go somewhere else!

I don’t usually like to review chains. I find corporate standards and the cookie cutter approach quite boring. IHOP tends to bounce up and down the quality scale but today’s visit was so pleasant I just have to brag about it. Service was impeccable. It was very attentive and prompt without being overbearing. Food was very good. It is usually predictable and«OK». Today was a very pleasant«Good». I rarely try the heavily promoted specials. My experience is that they rarely are as good as they look on TV. Not wishing to prove this true again we stayed with the old reliable omelets. The Colorado was meaty, tasty and the normally boring salsa was quite good today. The side dish pancakes are still boring, but I ate them anyway. IHOP remains a good choice when traveling or when you want a regular breakfast.

After a Sunday Funday my options were limited for late night eats so when in doubt, go with IHOP. We headed to IHOP around 2ish, give or take(mostly take) and as I suspected we were the only ones there. That just means you can’t have anything but phenomenal service. Awesome! We seated ourselves in a booth and began looking over the menus. Shortly after, our waitress appeared, introduced herself with a smile and took our drink orders. A couple other groups showed up, but service never became rushed which I appreciate because I normally feel rushed in chains(I get it… you gotta move tables quickly). The menu has actually been updated since the last time I’ve been to an IHOP so it did take me a while to decide, but eventually I chose the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs over easy and swapped the pancakes for waffles(because pancakes are dense disks of hell). Our drinks stayed full throughout our trip here and the food came out warm. I’m not particularly fond of the food served at IHOP(it all just tastes okay to me), but this curbed my hunger and I contemplated finishing it all. Waffle wise it’s big, but is it weird I prefer the waffles you get to make yourself during continental breakfasts at hotels over IHOP’s? I of course drowned each forth of my waffle in a different syrup as is my customary waffle ritual. And I never remember which syrup is my favorite so let it be known in this review that my favorite lies somewhere between the Pecan and Blueberry… or perhaps a mixture of the two. More research is needed. The Chicken Fried Steak was what I expected. Good breading. The hashbrowns/shredded potatoes were lackluster. I wish they browned them a tad more and added a pinch of salt. I have a theory on the eggs served in most chains, but I’ll leave it off of this review. They were fine though. I honestly don’t have any gripes about this IHOP. It was overall a good experience. The waitress was great. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. The food is average and pricing is decent. Good stop for some late night breakfast eats.

So filthy. So loud. Long wait lines on the weekend. Substandard fare. I just don’t understand why people keep going to this place. It’s, and I believe I am being fair, truly awful. The servers are always attentive, even if the hostess/front area isn’t the best. Oh, and the glasses have an odd egg smell. Never again, no matter how much my aging parents insist.

The waiters here are very nice. I went on a Monday night and the food was very good. Our food came out very quickly. I recommend this place to everybody who needs a good breakfast place.

AMAZINGLY bad. This is the first one star I’ve given where I actually stayed and ate, although the service here was just as bad as the other one I gave. First let me say that our waiter was a good guy. I’m pretty sure it was his first week(possibly his first day) though, as he was pretty clueless as to how to actually do his job. We could tell he was really trying hard though. We had to wait a bit after being seated to have our orders taken. Not a huge deal by itself, but it just added to the ridiculousness of this visit. Then when we got our food, some of it got left off, and some of it was just plain gross. My husband and I ordered machaca. I’ve had it at another IHOP before and it was nice, it looked like your basic scramble in a pan. This looked like canned, old vegetables(weird, since it was peppers and onions) had been thrown in with some canned dehydrated beef(kind of what machaca is) on top of eggs and left in a pan. Our plates were obviously cooked in the same pan, which I don’t have a problem with except that the pan outline was half on my plate and half on his. Plus it just didn’t taste good. The waiter forgot part of my niece’s order but brought it out immediately after he realized it. Well, half of it; it was sausage links but he only brought half the serving. My mom’s food came out cold. None of this is too horrible in itself; the horrible comes now. We waited an hour for this food after ordering. The awesome part is that the people who were seated RIGHT before us(we had been talking in the waiting area and were seated near them) STILL hadn’t gotten their food, even after we were done eating(and remember, we waited an hour to get ours!). The manager came out to talk to them and the waitress had the gall to actually argue that it hadn’t been an hour! I know for a fact that it was, because I’m a total Unilocal nerd and I checked in right as we sat down. Happily, Unilocal tells you how long ago you checked in and OHLOOK, it was over an hour ago! And they were seated BEFORE us! In my opinion, the manager screwed up by not reprimanding the waitress for arguing with the customer. The waitress screwed up for arguing with the customer about how long they’d been sitting there WITHOUTFOOD. Everyone involved(my family and the other family) were laughing about how AMAZINGLYBAD this place was, but it’s not really too funny. OK it is NOW but at the time? No way. I am hoping their food was comped, but I doubt it based on the behavior of both the manager and the waitress. I know I will NEVER go back to this place again, and will do my best to warn everyone about it.
