Great philly cheese steaks Make sure you order pizza well done, sometimes they tend to undercook to my taste but I do recommend Vinnie, s

Nothing special. Delivery was quick. Toppings were plentiful but overall the pizza was salty.

Love that I can order through the Unilocal app. It was very easy and food was delivered hot and quickly. Pizza is good. Meatballs and sausage side dishes are awesome! During the week they have a pesto shrimp pizza that is amazing! Neighborhood staple.

The pizza here is to die for. Its mouth watering cheesy goodness. The buffalo chicken pizza is terrific. I have been coming here for years. They also have good dinner entrees like chicken marsala

I’m bumping Vinnie’s up a star because I’ve finally been able to find the right things to order here. As I’ve probably mentioned, I grew up eating Vinnie’s when I lived behind St. Bartholomew School. Back then it was different owners, and they generally held their own against our family favorite, Brothers Pizza. When I moved back here four or so years ago, I found that Vinnie’s had changed, and I didn’t care much for the pizza or the Italian sub, which was always my favorite thing to order here. Well, while I still may not like their choice of salami for their Italian sub, Vinnie’s still rocks a good cheesesteak. Their white slice is also my favorite as far as white slices go. No thick ricotta. Just a simple, thin-crust white slice, mostly made with mozzarella. Even better, I was able to order delivery today directly off the site, using their EAT24 service. Delivery minimum was only $ 7, and you can pay and tip right on your credit card. Service and delivery fee was reasonable. Best of all, the food arrived in less than 40 minutes, and both my cheesesteak and white slice were piping hot. That is how it should work. Bravo, on a job well done. Vinnie’s — You’re officially back in the rotation.

I really hate to give this place a bad review so be patient as I bounce around a bit. I will start by saying that I really like their pizza a lot. Wether for pick up or delivery they have been able to maintain a level of consistency that is very hard to achieve. It won’t blow your mind but it is a very solid performer. I really think they shine with those massive, delicious, text book size/weight specialty slices. A lot of people might say the are pricey($ 4) but I think they are well worth it. Now, I have to be honest about their subs. The cheesesteak is one of the best you will find in the area. Hands down. No question. Their cold subs though…. I always knew they weren’t using premium cold cuts like Boars Head but they were still pretty good. Recently though, it seems more like a Subway quality cold cut they’ve been using. Very thickly sliced and haphazardly slapped on. I cannot say that the meats are being bought pre-sliced but for sure they are not sliced to order. That’s a bit lazy because their menu is small enough and their kitchen is extremely well organized. The place is called Vinny’s Pizza and Subs. I really feel like the subs have taken a turn for the worse. Spring mix is great for a salad but on a sub it just doesn’t work. Give me some shredded iceberg any day. That being said, their pizza is great and their hot subs are on point. I would stay away from the cold subs though.

Ate here plenty of times, especially since it was biking distance from where I used to live. This place used to always be jumping on weekends, but it appears they’ve turned it into a pizzeria/lounge type atmosphere. The pizza was always just okay, as were their sandwiches, but they were fast, a nice place in town, and just one of those little shops with the«Little Engine That Could» persona. It kept chugging and chugging. There are other pizza places that are better than this one, but it does the job without making a large fuss about it.

1. They got the order wrong. I ordered one large meatball sub without cheese. It came with cheese. I ordered a small ham and cheese sub. They gave me a large. Let’s examine their definition of «sub» shall we? 2. I wish I could post a picture of this sub. A slice of ham. A slice of cheese. The lettuce was a few pieces of the mixed spring greens-like-you-get-in-a bag-from-the-grocery-store-type, not the shredded iceberg lettuce. Said no tomato and they got that right, so hence, the one star. No appreciable oil, vinegar or oregano. Red onions instead of white? I can live with that but the rest is just wrong.

Decent little pizza places. Id compare it to marias in Milltown. It’s got good pizza, but nothing really stands out about it. The Italian food they have on he menu is all right, but if I were you(and ordering delivery) and definitely try to stick to pizza. I will say, however, that their buffalo chicken pizza is probably the best in town. The chicken always tastes very fresh and isn’t the same crappy microwave chicken other pizza places will throw on. They load you up with cheese and buffalo sauce to make it one of the messiest slices of pizza I’ve eaten… But also one of the best. When in search of a cheap meal for delivery, order a buffalo chicken pie, wipe the grease off he bottom of the box, and enjoy! (But for real make sure you wipe the bottom of the box. Ruined a good pair of khakis)

I’ve been eating at this place for about 20 years and get their delivery a lot. The menu has come a long way in terms of variety. Like they now have complete dinners, wraps, catering, and a lot more/creative toppings. You might like the Chicken Parm Pizza, Cheesesteak pizza, Buffalo Chicken topping if you are craving something spicy but their sausage is of top-notch caliber. I think the best pie they have though is the«Margherita Pie» which is quite flavorful with fresh mozzarella, basil, and garlic. I’ve seen some people complain about the pizza being too thick; just ask them to make it «thin crust»(or «well done» for those other Unilocal nancies) if that is the case. If you want more dough, they also have deep-dish style and Sicilians. Another go-to item is their Calzone or Stromboli. Unlike other places which stuff toppings into plain calzones, Vinnie’s are«made to order» so they are super fresh. Their large calzone can feed a few people if you all can actually agree upon which awesome toppings to put in it.

We recently moved to Milltown, tried out this place and have been getting pizza almost weekly for a while now from them. Love the coupons and the pizza is pretty good. Most likely won’t be giving them business due to what occurred last time we ordered a pie. We went to pick it up and they apparently never had our order so they tried covering it up and said it’ll be ready in a few mins. We waited, I asked what happened because we called 20 mins ahead and the man«with the eyebrows» was rude and said its been in the oven. We ordered an extra cheese pie and my fiancé said as a joke, «Watch, they forgot and they are going to grab a pie that’s been sitting out, throw some extra cheese on top and are now heating up.» That’s exactly what they did… So the guy lied to my face and then made a nasty pizza with half ass extra cheese thrown into the middle. At least give us a discount and own up to the mistake of not having it ready! This is how companies lose business… Wasn’t too happy about that and we are going to find a new Friday night pizza place

I’m always happy to see improvement especially here in the central Jersey pizza belt. They’ve not only completely made over the décor, but the food as well. I tried Vinny’s on multiple occasions throughout the years only to be dissapointed by their overly doughy crust and lack of sauce flavor and the dining area, well no need to go there. And then just as you’ve completely written them off, wham! A Make over. Wooden booths with nice leather cushions surrounded by yet more dark brown wood with a huge flat screen in the middle for all to easily view. Quite a unique cornucopia of specialty pies like cheesesteak, garbage, shrimp/garlic/pesto and multiple chicken options. I noticed the crust less thick & chewy, but when ordering a pie I always advise to specify exactly how you want it to remove doubt with any pizzeria. The sauce seemed to be a bit more flavorful yet still kinda greasy. Clean and friendly services with average at best prices. 4 speciality slices and 2 sodas was $ 20, probably should be a but cheaper for what they are. From this Unilocalers perspectives they’ve made strides to improve and it appears the foundation has been set for a come back. Good for them. I’ll check em out again and keep you posted.

I’ll push with 4 stars this time around. The food is okay and def get what you pay for. The slices are huge. One thing I just hate is a lot of the food I’ve seen or eaten is extremely greasy. I mean, you get some grease here and there, but this place is really bad with it. I also have to agree with another Unilocal reviewer. The crust is way too heavy… Way too much dough/bread going on. They need to slim that down. On other notes: The place has great parking, never a huge wait or line, staff is average on friendliness, and the place is open a huge portion of the time regardless of weather confitions. I’d say try it out.

I like Vinnies. Not the best pizza, not the worst. I usually get a meatball slice. Meatballs are huge and hard to eat, but I slice them up and scatter them around myself. Slices are pretty large and the crust is thick. Slices themselves aren’t as thin as I prefer, but they are good. I would recommend the chicken cutlet sub, hero, hoagie, grinder… Whatever you call it. The bread is soft and easy to eat! Hate hard, crusty bread for subs! We usually dine in. The table are usually dirty, but I’ve worked in a pizza place and know it gets really hectic at times, so I personally can excuse that. Grated cheese and hot pepper flakes never hurt anyone. Also, with that being said, having worked in a pizza place before, I will say they execute orders efficiently!

Very good food, ok service. Not the most competitively priced, but the fries are excellent. Ordered several different types of pizzas, cheesesteaks, chicken fingers, buffalo wings and fries — all have always come out satisfactory.

I love getting my pizzas from Vinnie’s! The pizzas here are always so flavorful, warm and delicious, that I always have cravings and come back for more! It has that classic, New York style vibe and their pizza is so good! My only recommendation would be to make the place slightly more aesthetically pleasing — maybe fixing up the sign, and renovating the inside a bit. Otherwise, this is definitely one of my go to places.

When I need a good cheesesteak, this is my go-to place. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and it’s easily the best cheesesteak I’ve had in the area and better than most I’ve had in Philly. Before you decide to criticize my knowledge of a Philly cheesesteak, my dad’s family is from outside of Philly, so we don’t mess around when it comes to cheesesteaks. They give you a healthy portion of meat and the flavor is fantastic. I usually do takeout, but they have plenty of seating if you wanna dine-in. They have TVs around to catch sports or other events that might have going on. Also be sure to check out their countdown clock to see what’s coming up. Sometimes it’s just a countdown to a holiday, but they had a countdown for their anniversary(which I missed by a couple days) that they were offering 50% off pizza and subs. Not that you need 50% off from their prices, but it’s nice to catch those kinda deals. Can’t wait to come back here next time I’m in town!

I remember eating here in high school so decided to try again. Wish I didnt. Ive never had pizza that had no flavor. The sauce was sparse and tasteless. It was red water on top of a bland crust. If it wasnt for the sausage I wouldnt have eaten the one slice out of the whole pie I ordered. Not worth trying again.

Seriously the WORST food I have ever had. I ordered eggplant parm, husband ordered chicken parm. No taste at all. Tasted like they opened a can of tomato paste, added water, and dumped it on day old pasta. Salad was warm(granted they put it in the same box with the pasta) and smelt rotten. We gave it a chance and threw it away after gagging.

Had some guests coming over and needed a few pies quickly. This place was the closest so we thought we give them a try. Pizza very disappointing. Sauce was not tasty and the pie was one step above frozen. Reminded me of my high school days of the pizza i used to get in the school cafeteria. I should have stuck with Mancini’s or brothers. Will not return
