Mmm just as advertised, this place had the PERFECT amount of sand in their pizza. If you enjoy swallowing shallow and sandy ocean water filled with micro parasites found in the pits of the jersey shore, you will love this pizza!

We used to enjoy their food but the service(communication) has gone down. The last 3 times we ordered there was an issue. When my husband called the older woman gave him attitude. We’re done with this establishment. These establishments need to understand they wouldn’t be around if not for the local and surrounding community patrons.

Not very friendly staff. Ordered here for a work lunch and had asked to prepare my wrap without a certain item due to allergy and was given attitude on the phone about my request. When I picked up the order the staff was extremely rude when I confirmed my wrap was done how requested. Needless to say the wrap was not to request and they have lost a customer as well as anyone I know.

Great food, great price and friendly faces. Came here completely by accident but will come back. Sicillian slices large, delicious and fairly priced. Great seating area in the back!

I love the food but the way they look at me sometimes just feels like they wanna kill me. It’s very unsettling. Actually I think it’s a racist glare in their eyes. It’s very rude and just disgusting. It’s mostly that one Egyptian guy. He looks at me like I did something wrong. Like bro what’s your problem? What have I done so wrong to offend you? Like damn. Also $ 4.23 for a specialty slice? That’s a little too high for one slice. A whole specialty pie is $ 14.95. That’s only 3 slices. A medium specialty pie has like 6 to 8 slices depending on how you define medium. So each specialty slice should only be $ 2.30 to $ 2.45. That would make much more sense and be a fair price for what your getting. They aren’t very efficient either. For example: I order a specialty slice. They put it in the oven. Then that same person walks away to take a phone order, or they go talk to another co-worker. In the meantime my slice is being burnt to a crisp. One person should be taking phone orders. One should be on the cash register. One should be making the whole pies, and one should be in charge of taking single slice orders and keeping a eye on each individual slice. Making sure they don’t get burnt. Like how hard can that be? I’m giving it one star for the good food. The other 4 stars have been revoked for poor customer service and disgusting attitude of employees.

What a wonderful late breakfast my husband and I just had here. We had an appointment in the area so I used Unilocal to help me find a place in this area to have breakfast. We were not disappointed. Food was very good and the waitress was wonderful. I absolutely love that it is part diner, part pizzeria, part breakfast nook… part of a little of everything and sometimes that’s what make a place great. Breakfast is served all day which was ideal because I was looking for a good breakfast for between 11a and Noon which this place was perfect for. I had the Yankee slam was very good. Lots of food for under ten bucks. My husband has the French Toast combo. The French Toast is the best. They use the perfect type of bread for it. The sausage was also really good. It was different then what I’ve had as a breakfast side and perfect with the eggs. Bacon was crispy not very fatty. I don’t live in this area but I work here during lunch time and defiantly looking foward to stopping by to try their lunch. Menu also had great dinner specials and also prices are very reasonable. My husband and I both had a large breakfast for 24 bucks. Coffee is great too and refilled by the waitress which I love. Please don’t only listen to the lower reviews and give them a try!

A very nice local spot, the staff are always very friendly. Sandy’s has a large variety of pizzas that are always fresh and delicious; I would also recommend to try their mini cheeseburger sliders and curly fries-a very delicious treat! Will definitely be back for more!

Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Sandy’s is a solid choice. Prices have increased overtime but the quality and service is still the same. Ordering pizza by the slice — although generously sliced — can be very expensive coming out at $ 3 – 4. The buffalo chicken is a huge favorite but their Bacon Chicken Ranch is also quite good. Another combination that I like to order as a pie is their tomato and bacon. Their pizza is delicious and generously topped with toppings. Their diner offerings are also very good and well-portioned. Their Yankee Slam is a popular breakfast item but don’t be shy to try their deli sandwiches or wraps. Be sure to get fries with them as well!

An old favorite. Food is delicious; I easily recommend the breakfast yankee slam, buffalo chicken pizza, California grilled chicken sandwich, and the Sandy’s special steak sandwich with onions and peppers. Dining is casual and staff are friendly. Takeout and delivery also available. Unfortunately, prices have increased a bit over time, but it’s still a great place for breakfast or lunch.

I have no complaints about this place. The food isn’t gourmet, but they deliver, the prices are reasonable,(no delivery fee or minimum), and the staff is always friendly.

I am basing this review on their wings. not their pizza. I must say that they have the best wings(cluck u) in town. they’re very crisp and the sauce is always dispersed well. the pizza however is very bland. but if you like chicken wings this is the place to go.

The food never has any consistency. It might be good one day and crap the next day. It’s not worth it to me to have to hope for the best every time I order. Also, I have never stepped foot into this place, but the poor hygiene comments in the previous reviews does not make me feel better. Also, when I was ordering delivery, the guy on the phone gave ME an attitude because the prices on THEIR website were wrong. He justified it by saying that they deliver an updated menu every time they deliver and would not honor the online prices. Guess what: IT’S 2015 and people use the internet, and NO, you cannot assume everyone just hangs on to their menu from the last delivery which could have been ages ago. Thanks for the great customer service.

Neighborhood pizza place — quick and pleasant service, basic pizza — not for you if you don’t like a lot of cheese. They deliver too.

This place seems confused and I’m not sure if it’s a diner with pizza or a pizzeria with diner food. The problem is, unless you’re the Bellagio, it’s hard to do all kinds of food well. The pizza hits the spot of your hungry, but is a little too doughy and thick for this area. It reminds me of pizza served down in the southern parts of the USA, but if that’s what you’re looking for, then this is your place. The sauce was pretty good and it seemed very fresh with pieces of real tomatoes and that was a pleasant surprise. The place has been around for a long time, and it shows. The place is relatively clean but not somewhere I would make plans to sit down and eat. Overall the place is okay, but not somewhere to go out of your way to check out. If you’re looking for great pizza in the area, Mancini’s is in the same town, and that place is fabulous. If your looking for cheaper pizza with generous portions and variety to satisfy your whole family, this may be the place for you.

They have a little of everything: wraps, pizza, wings, etc. so they’re great for when your family can’t agree on a single cuisine… like mine did tonight. Now what they serve ranges from the very good(chicken caesar wrap) to the excellent(nothing like their french fries) to the blah(pizza and chicken parm hero). Still, they fill a vital niche for the people of East Brunswick and always seem to be busy. I’ve eaten there on several occasions over the years, and it’s OK for dine-in, but their real strength is takeout and delivery. They hire local kids, so there’s a good chance if your child goes to the local high school they’ll know someone behind the counter. I always support businesses that support the local neighborhood. So, why 3 stars? They serve the needs of a very wide range of people, but I can’t think of anything – besides the fries – where I would say, «you gotta get that at Sandy’s.» I would say that if you’re local, have a wide range of people to please, and want something affordable, Sandy’s is perfect.
