Ambiance is thAt of a fast food chain. Pasta is above expectations. Every time I’ve come the pasta is not too firm or too soft. Reasonably priced for the quality. I’m surprised this place isn’t busier…

Relaxing atmosphere, Interesting menu concept, it’s ok if you just want a quick bite, but the portions are way too small. Not even half a servings worth.

They have good unique pasta and noodle dishes. I’m normally not a fan of having something I can make easily myself when going out but they get the Bangkok noodles so well! It tastes just like Penang curry but with noodles. The vegetables are also so fresh! The Mac and cheese with meatballs and this spicy Penne rosa are my other favorites! The crew is always very nice as well! If you find out about a new opening, there’s a possibility of a free dish on opening day which is how I found out about the East Brunswick one!

Quality of food seems to have gone slightly downhill. Not as much sauce, not as many mushrooms/other toppings, and a little less flavor. I think they also are giving slightly less in their portions, but I can’t be certain. Even the staff doesn’t seem as chipper as they were when I last left a review. Before, they seem like they were happy to work there. Now they’re clearly just going through the motions. It’s still good, and I’ll still go back… but I’m not as frequent a customer as I used to be.

I’ll start with the bad because I actually really enjoy this place so might as well just get the negatives out now. 1. Why in the world don’t you have a garbage can anywhere on the dining floor? Most of the time the staff picks up your food for you when you’re done and you leave it on the table but in the rare occasion that they don’t, I like to be able to assist you by throwing out my own trash. Kind of crazy. 2. I kind of wish you would make new additions to the menu more regularly or frequently. As someone who comes here pretty often it would be nice to try some new things. 3. On a random Monday afternoon during lunch I came to grab a bite and it was a bit slow but I still would never expect or approve of staff cursing repeatedly and loudly and conversing about each other and negative work relations. Keep that conversation for the back room. Not professional and not something I want to enjoy during my 20 minute escape from the office. The good? I’ve otherwise never had a bad experience here and I have been here plenty of times. The food taste fresh(even if it isn’t… I don’t know). It has great flavors and great variety. It’s a great alternative to fast food and comes out quickly. This is great for when you don’t have time to sit down at a more formal chain restaurant or otherwise. My favorite dishes are the med sandwich and Thai soup. I dabble in the noodles every now and then.

I always have a great experience when I come here. Reading reviews about people that have come here and have not ordered a noodle dish and give this place 2 stars is a disgrace how can you rate a noodle place on their cheese steaks anyways great penne rosa, pesto and jap noodles! Love the tai soup as well staff is also friendly when I have gone.

Sigh! I had a hankering for chicken noodle soup and this was the only place that was open. I asked the girl at the counter how big was the large soup and she showed me a big bowl so i ordered a large to go. She ran my card then said they had no noodles for the soup. …wat. So i asked for a refund, she got the manager and he tried to talk me into ordering something else. But i really wanted soup. So he offered to put a different type of noodle in the soup and i agreed. When i got my soup, the container was VERY small(nowhere near the size of the bowl she showed me) with three pieces of chicken floating in the broth with macaroni noodles. Literally, it was about one cup of soup that i paid 6.00 for. Plus, the container was only filled halfway. I was so hungry i ended up eating white castle. I probably won’t be going back.

Just had a very memorable dinner ay Noodle Company at there new location Elkhart Indiana. They open this Monday but invited us to dinner before they open to practice. Food was great, but the staff was so helpful, full of positive smiles, very energize, and manage very well with positive training. This location has the best manager and asst. manager, these two have been trained very well and it showed. We go back for good food and best service, Thanks to all the staff that made this a successful, and pleasure to eat at.

It’s great for a quick meal — used to come here a lot more often when I lived closer. I wanted soup, a robust flavorful soup that I did not have to cook myself as I was recovering from a major sickness. My bf drove my sick butt all the way up to EB to get some Thai soup with me. Was there better thai soup in the area/on the way from where we lived to EB… I’m 100% sure but I needed fast and this was my first venture out after 2 weeks being cooped up at home and I wanted a quick escape if I started feeling bad again. This is the draw of this place — you order at the counter, take a number and seat yourself, no check to wait for at the end, they have to go boxes by the soda machines, so you can be in and out at your own pace. My thai soup came out and it tasted just as I remembered. It was only luke warm at best, but it still soothed me and I felt better after eating it. The ingredients were all fresh, and the nice shot of lime from the fresh lime was the key. BF got the mac and cheese with meatballs. He said the meatballs were really good and the mac and cheese was just standard. We ordered a side of garlic bread, which they didn’t bring around the first time — we had to keep going up and asking for it, and were done with our meals by the time the bread came. Weird as we came at an odd time and it wasn’t crowded so not sure what happen there. All in all it’s a good spot for a quick meal, flavors for every one, and it won’t break the bank.

Very solid and unique fusion noodles. Frankly, I would advise against getting anything that’s Asian here, since the non-Asian food plus noodles-in-a-bowl aspect makes it all the more worthwhile. I came for a late lunch after a day in the beach and got the steak stroganoff: perfect parmesan, tender steak, sauce that melded everything together… not much more you can ask for. 5⁄5 for sure. Friend got the pad Thai noodles with tofu, which was a solid 4⁄5 but nowhere near my favorite Thai restaurants’ pad Thai. Note that the noodles here are not the big fat ones but thinner in diameter(official culinary terms I know). Portions are huge so brace yourself. Staff are super nice and helped us make our«bowl» after reading our clueless expressions.

My wife’s food(a curry noodle dish) was tasty, though skimpy in portion size. Big bowl, but not filled. Her noodles were undercooked and«heavy». And the veggies were scant. That’s the good news. My Pad Thai was all that, but worse because it had no taste and even fewer veggies. She also ordered a small Thai soup. Small is an understatement. It tasted good, but what a tiny portion. I ordered a side salad. Smallest salad I’ve ever been served. As far as ambiance is concerned, the place looks nice, but every available table was dirty. Nobody had been around to clean up after previous customers. My wife got a wet napkin and wiped the table. Moreover, the floors weren’t clean. Gave me the skeevies.

This review is for my first(and probably last) visit to a Noodles & Company. I stepped in for a late weekday lunch to fifty or so seats that were mostly empty. The single cashier/food runner/busser was friendly during all stages of service; the only other visible employees were two line cooks serving up orders behind the counter. After placing your order, you’ll receive a steel table number which will tell the food runner where to bring your food. Choose from among three types of self-seating options: upholstered booths, elevated tables with stools, and counter seats – all scarlet red. The semi-retro diner décor is a nice touch, but the food doesn’t quite measure up. The Indonesian Peanut Sauté had some spiciness and cilantro, but was otherwise unmemorable. For the extra $ 2 Parmesan-crusted chicken, I wasn’t expecting a miniature pre-frozen ground meat patty that tasted neither of Parmesan nor of chicken. For a $ 9 bill, I was also expecting a substantially larger portion size; the only thing large about my order was the size of the bowl. The novelty and ostensibly multi-cultural variety of the menu provide some appeal, but you could probably find better value and more authentic noodles at your locally-run Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, or Thai hole-in-the-wall.

The food is mainly why I even gave this place 3 stars– it’s pretty good. The hot pot was a hearty size portion and very flavorful after my sriracha hot sauce was added. The downfall here is their lack of items and most of all– the staff. It was my first time dining here. My mother and I were greeted by a polite young lady who took her time to explain the menu. That was very nice. We ordered 2 hot pots and the appetizer of Margarita flatbread. We waited at our table for over 30 minutes with nothing coming out. As I went up to ask about an order a staff member sitting on the side came up and asked if I needed something, I mentioned we were hungry and waiting for our food. She rudely told me that they had ran out of broth. She said they would cook more and I asked if we could get our appetizer in the meantime. It was sitting there for a while so I asked her to please bring a fresh one over before our soups. 10 min later she brought everything out together. I went back up to ask for chopsticks to which she said they had ran out and didn’t have any. Ummmm What? The lady was not very nice and not very polite. Finally we sat down to eat. Another downfall was that the soda machine was out of Hi-C. It seems as though they ran out of so much. For our first time this place didn’t leave the most positive impact. As I mentioned the food was pretty good but overall– this isn’t a place I would mark as a fave. As for their menu– assortments of pastas and soups. You can add a soup to your meal for $ 1.50. The tomato basil looked good. They didn’t even care that we waited that long to eat and it seemed as if it was an inconvenience to ask for chopsticks. For an Asian cuisine dining I would think they would def. be stocked on chopsticks. Hopefully they get some in, I’m sure I’m not the only one using them. Ps: new attitudes would be a plus.

Love this place. Very affordable. Delicious entrees. Pleasant & fast service. The options are endless and so many of them vegetarian. Don’t know of any other place that has great service and prohibits tipping. Meal for 2 was $ 19 with taxes included!

I decided to finally try this place for lunch today– boy what a waste of time. The service was the only good thing about this place. The girl behind the counter went out of her way to help me choose a few items to try– so for that I gave the place 1 star. The 2nd star was for the environment. The whole theme was def. a cool environment to eat in … But the place lost 3 stars for the food. The food was absolutely terrible. Tasted like something out of a microwave … The buttery noodles were dry and had no flavor … I ordered it with Parmesan chicken but that was no good.. The Japanese noodles tasted as if someone poured a bottle of dry spices in and mixed … I ordered that with steak… Steak tasted like knock off beef cubes… Then I tried the tai hot pot soup… Ugh. Even worse… It was so bad, I threw it straight in the garbage after 1 try! 25 bucks later– result– disappointed! The price is right for what you get … My recommendations — not worth trying. I def. wont be back to try again, sorry.

I ordered a Pad Thai with Marinated Steak to go today for lunch. The place is modern, pleasant, clean, and inviting. The takeout container is of high quality plastic in big brown bag. Portion is enough to fill me up. Noodle was quite tasty, though I had expected peanuts in the dish. This restaurant is in a strange niche. It doesn’t have waiter service, but it serves fancier food than stuff you get at a food court or fast food chain. Yet, the price point is higher than a typical fast food chain. I didn’t expect to pay nearly $ 3 more to have some protein in my noodle. That’s $ 6 + $ 3 = $ 10 with taxes for a bowl of noodle. Still, I enjoyed the food and experience. So 4 stars from me.

My friends and I came here for dinner the other night and we really left disappointed. I had the cheesesteak and the meat was a bit scary. On a positive note the bread was soft and I did like the flavor of the cheese, but overall I wasn’t satisfied. My friend had the Tuscan pasta dish with chicken and she couldn’t eat the chicken b/c it was rubbery. She was upset that she paid 2.50 extra for something that did not taste right. My other friend got the Japanese pan fried noodles and that was pretty good. They do have a good soda selection.

This is much more than a fast food noodle place. The food is restaurant quality and there is something for everyone on their menu. Ordering is a breeze. Simple decide if you want a Small or Regular sized portion. And choose from Italian, Mediterranean, or Asian noodles. You can also add a soup, salad, or meat, or even order dessert or a sandwich. Tomato soup — comforting, not too creamy, smooth and yummy. Goes well with any of the pasta dishes. Pesto Cavatappi — great pesto flavor, but not overwhelming. Who doesn’t love a good cavatappi noodle? Japanese Pan Noodle — Our favorite. The noodles have a perfect amount of spice and I love the black sesame seeds. I recommend asking for extra veggies! Wisconsin Mac ‘n Cheese — Nothing special. Tasted like it was just made out of a box with no love at all. Skip! Rice Krispie Treats — Made fresh everyday! Didn’t try because of the gelatine in the marshmallows. Great service by the staff. They even check up on you while dining. You can’t BYOB which is a bummer since noodles taste good with vino or beer! Oh well. It’s a fast food chain restaurant with a bit of soul. More locations opening up in New Jersey!
