2nd time I’ve called this place and no answer. Their hours on the website for this«business» is a joke, as they don’t follow them apparently. I drove over and the door was locked and the sign for the hours reflect they are suppose to be open at 4pm on a Monday. Changes your hours before you lose more potential customers; I noticed I’m not the only one on Unilocal who had this issue. Last time I attempt to eat here.

Tried calling over a million times and no answer. This could possibly be the worst… Not very happy

Food is delicious, and the service is pretty good. Ambiance in the place could be better, but given the area, it’s decent. The consistency on the delivery is not there, sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t deliver.

Ended up in this place on New year. Bad tasteless food. Never been to a Chinese place were every food ordered was missing salt and despite requesting higher spice level, food was bland. They should close this to save humanity.

Delicious Asian fusion food here at very reasonable prices. Portions are modest and the place is BYOB so feel free to stop at the liquor store next door and pick up your favorite beverage. Service is very welcoming and food comes out pretty quick. I’ve come here several times already and definitely recommend it to all my friends. Its kind of a hidden gem in Parlin. Definitely give it a try!

This place is ok I guess. Went here on a date night because it was conveniently about halfway between where I live and where my date lives. While I was waiting for my date to arrive, I looked in the window and noticed that the place was completely empty at dinner time on a Saturday night. We finally went in and sat down and found the place eerily quiet– they don’t have music or anything playing in the restaurant(except some type of music blasting in the kitchen that you could hear anytime the door to the kitchen opened or closed). When you’re the only one in the restaurant and it’s literally completely silent in the dining room, it just feels a little odd. Décor of the restaurant was a little mixed– I liked how they had linen napkins, but was surprised that they pair them with cheap disposable paper placemats on the table. Lighting in the restaurant was fine, and the slats they have covering the window are a nice touch, however they don’t do a good job of blocking out the view of all the patrons from the laundry mat next door that continually stand directly in front of the restaurant windows and chain smoke cigarettes until their laundry is done. Food was a little slow. It took about 30 minutes for our spring roll appetizer to come out, and the waiter/host we had kept trying to up sell us to two portions of the appetizer when we just wanted to split one. Likewise, he kept pressuring us to put in our entire food order up front rather than giving us time to look at the menu. The spring rolls, once they actually came out, were fine, as was the Tom Kah soup I ordered. Entrees were a little heavy for my liking– I had the Thai basil and ginger chicken, which to be honest, was a little heavy on the sauce and had what seemed to be processed chicken — rather that chunks of chicken and a nice light sauce as I’ve come to expect from this dish. One last thing. Turns out their credit card reader wasn’t working the night that I was there. Unfortunately they did not tell us this until we were ready to pay the bill. Thankfully I had cash on me, but it really would have been nice if they put a sign in the window, on their website, or simply advise customers that it is cash only before taking their orders. I normally don’t carry that much cash with me and it was just by sheer luck that I actually went to the atm the day before.

I bought a Groupon for this restaurant for dine-in. I decided to get delivery before I went to eat there. I assumed the food would be fine and when I found someone that was free to go sometime, I would eat there. I was so wrong. The food was not very good. I got vegetable Manchurian which was too oily, but edible. Chili cauliflower dish was okay. My sister and I liked it. Vegetable Hakka noodles were bland and no one wanted to eat them. I decided to give it a second chance after a few weeks. Ordered vegetable Thai curry(Penang or red, I can’t remember), but it looked and smelled weird. I tasted it a little and it was scary. It tasted like something you could get sick from eating cause it was so old. That had to be thrown out right away. I’m pretty disappointed because this is about 5 minutes from my house and I thought this could be a regular place I’d eat at, but I would never get food from here again. Wish I could have my Groupon refunded. I already wasted too much money on them. I also hate the strip mall this restaurant is located in. Finding parking is not easy and it’s a small, tight lot.

Gave one star because the female that took my order over the phone was exceptionally friendly. Only had Asian fusion food a few years ago and it was decent for what I ordered. However, with this place, big disappointment. I order General Tso chicken and it looked, tasted, or smelled nothing like what expected. Moreover, the price was shocking;$ 14.97. If the food had not been ordered via phone and already made, I would not have taken it. Maybe I’m just not used to Asian Fusion, but if you like traditional Chinese General Tso, you definitely won’t like it from here. Ugh

Don’t order from here! the menu is wrong on Unilocal and the manager will call and yell at you for not paying the«right» price. They delivered a meal that was not what i ordered and called back to yell at me again for not knowing their specials. I am mortified. I will never order from here again. The food is subpar at best.

Awesome food bursting with flavor the way I like it, a custom menu of its kind unlike any other, good service, enjoyed the dim lit ambience and especially fell in love with the Buddha wall décor oil painting. Would definitely go again. Highly recommended!

Omg. I don’t even know where to begin. The restaurant is being run with 1 hostess on the floor. We go to the restaurant at 8. Almost empty the restaurant. For 30 minutes, our table of 7 has not one Glass of water filled or a waiter to come by. After ordering, 30 minutes for appetizers. Another 20 for entrees. It was almost 9, I had two bites of my pad Thai which was okay compared to other restaurants. I wasn’t hungry after waiting so long for the food. I understand why no one comes, by the time the food comes I’d be a prune. Not to mention that the host takes your order down but does not write it so it’s missing MAIN ingredients in the dish. Fried Rice with chicken but they forget the chicken somehow? Pad Thai extra spicy with not a spec of spice? Water was never refilled? Terrible service.

I went in today(june 13th2015). I had bought the groupon for this so that my vegan friends and me(carnivore) can eat something. It is in a part of Sayreville that is a bit far from a business district and a bit of a stretch to go to but it is part of a strip«mall» that strips people out of gas and strips down the desire to eat. I went with a friend to get food. The appetizer was the Lotus wheel. I never had lotus before so I was not sure what to expect. It was just a lotus stem cut to pieces in and dipped in sauce. ok. I immediately regretted it. IT tasted like I just cut down a young sapling tree, put it over a fire and dipped in sauce. DONOTGETTHELOTUSWHEEL. I also ordered a drink that was the Pattaya night. I was expecting anything other than a purple colored banana shack. Ok something of a no-no. I orderd the chicken Hakka noodles, something Chinese. Everything tasted undercooked slightly. The noondles were a little dry with some sauce on it. What was I supposed to say? Did all water run away from it? It honestly tasted decent with the mix of food but they definitely were economical with the chicken. Well duh meat costs a lot but I was e expecting a little more chicken in it. Plus, the décor was a little drab to begin with. It was really dark to b egin with. Also, when we went, we were the only ones. Just when we order, another pair come and order. They got starting eating when the appetizer came out… god damn. Also, they need more people working here. It took 15 minutes even though only 4 orders came in, 2 dine in and 2 take out. The others didn’t even order much. Might as well as give the chairs away. I don’t quite recommend going unless you want to try it out.

Great value and taste. When I walked in I was very skeptical of how few people were present. Then I noticed more and more take out so I felt reassured of my choice. I ordered from the lunch menu. It was $ 7.99 for a drink, soup, and entrée with your choice of fried, jasmine, or brown rice. I ordered a chicken takka(ph) entrée, sweet lime juice, and corn soup. When my meal came I was shocked. It was a very generous portion, had tons of flavor, and I left satisfied. The sweet lime juice was great too. If you are the area go here for Asian fusion. Great pricing, good taste, and excellent service. No I don’t own any part of this establishment.

My favorites: eggplant with hot garlic sauce, chili paneer, lamb szechuan, spring rolls, shrimp coriander garlic. This place is so much better than I ever would have imagined! Don’t let its looks deceive you — it’s very unassuming(though clean and nicely decorated) and located in one of those ubiquitous Jersey strip malls. But the food is completely unique and consistently excellent. After having the eggplant with hot garlic sauce the first time, I spent the next several weeks plotting how to find a spare hour sometime in my workday to make the trek back up to Parlin to have it again. The presentation and service are always great too. So impressed, can’t wait to go back.

This place really exceeded expectations. I’ll admit, I was skeptical about an Asian fusion restaurant in a little strip mall, but this place is worth a visit! We were there in the late afternoon(around 4pm) and were the only people in the restaurant the whole time we were there. The food is absolutely off-the-chart amazing! We had General Tsao chicken, lamb curry and fried rice. All were incredible. Service was also second to none. The server who was working at the time was very attentive and pleasant. We used a voucher and didn’t have any problems at all with it. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they were out of one of the entrees and one of the desserts that we tried to order, and the water glasses could have been cleaner(water spots). Other than that, it was excellent. I would most definitely go back.

So I have seen some negative reviews below most are old from the old owners. But This place I think is to die for. The flavors of everything on the menu is out of this world. I prob eat here 2 – 3 times a week if I can. There appetizers are perfection The chili paneer & drum of heaven are amazing. There main courses are just as amazing. From Curry Thai dishes to Szechuan Dishes ect. It’s a smaller place and very nice lighting. So it’s definitely not under staffed nor dirty. Perfect little spot with great prices if you want your tastes buds to have a party. Do not go by the old reviews.

The ambiance is nice and the food is excellent. Finally a very good Indo Chinese restaurant in the area. Will definitely come back to try out other dishes. Two adults and two kids under 5 tried the Chili chicken, Hakka noodles, imperial fish and the vegetable Penang curry. More than enough food and had left overs from each dish as well.
