Out of business– it’s a shame too. The place was full of potential. Hopefully someone will re-open it.

Worst ever. Granted they were busy and the only place we could get into without a reservation… and now we know why. We ordered a calamari appetizer which wasn’t fully cooked so we asked to trade it for another one and they obliged, and charged us for both. When we asked for a manager after waiting for our food for 1 hour and a half, our waitress came back and said, «how can I help you?» So we said, «are you the manager?» To which she replied, «our manager is too busy to talk to you so what would you like, for me to pay for your dinner?» Wow. So rude. Don’t waste your time, money or energy here.

My family and I went here one night during our New Years trip to Durango. I was so disappointed by our experience. When we first walked in, I was excited by the modern typeface logo, urban décor and relaxed atmosphere. We sat down, and upon looking at the menu, decided that sharing appetizers was the way to go. We ordered the truffle fries, BBQ wings, chicken sliders and calamari. My parents ordered 2 glasses of wine, and I ordered the«Jack Dempsey” – a gin, white rum and simple sugar mix. The drinks were good, and the food sounded great. Unfortunately this is where the fun ended. It took over 25 minutes before our waitress came to check on our drinks and inform us that the food would, «just be a little longer.» The food wait was outrageous. Then when it finally did come, the BBQ wings we’d ordered were actually spicy wings – a different menu option from the BBQ. The waitress took them back, and 7 minutes later the correct wings were delivered. The second round of drinks took longer than expected, and was inaccurate, as they only brought one glass of wine instead of the requested two. The only redeeming quality I can give this place is the atmosphere. The food is okay, but nothing special, and the service was horrible. I don’t recommend, and we will not be back. So much potential, such a disappointment.

Bad menu. No proper service friendly but very unprofessional. Very disappointing menu with 3 Asian shrimps as a main course. We will never visit this place again

Amazing!!! We came during a really slow time, the staff was still on top of it. Our waitress Jessi was fabulous. The food was so good. We came with our 6 year old and they treated him so sweet. Did I mention the food was wonderful. It’s now our favorite place to go!!! Love it

The food and atmosphere were great, but the service was incredible. From the moment we walked in the people were friendly and outgoing! Our server, Jessi S, gave us great recommendations and amazing service! We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great restaurant to try.

First time here, maybe it was an off night. Service was really bad — staff said they were really busy as an excuse. We waited 15 minutes after we were seated to have someone get our drink order. Restaurant was very cold we asked to see if they would do something, so they moved us to another, equally cold table. Food service was slow, but the quality was good once it got there. Not a great first time, we’ll give them another try.

Food was ok, but drinks were terrible. Couldn’t stomach the margaritas and they never offered a refund on them left a 13.00 dollar drink.

6512 showed us an impressive experience for our Sunday brunch! They were busy but not loud which was a nice pace to the meal with friends and family. The cuisine came out decorative, bright and appetizing to the eyes. Our palates agreed whole-heartedly with our eyes, confirming the savory and delicious suspicions beheld. Looks like quality is the name of their game there at 6512. We will adventure there again for dinner, the very next time visiting Durango! They were only a block from the train station and right at the beginning of Main st. Looking forward!

TERRIBLETERRIBLETERRIBLESERVICE!!! Some friends and I searched around for a nice place to eat on a busy Friday night & its no wonder why this was the only place in town with a zero wait time. The hostess and our server were super rude and made snide remarks all night. We seriously thought that we may be on the show«What would you do?» Or even«Punk’d.» NOPE! The service was just unbelievably awful. We waited about an hour and a half for our food and when it came out it was terrible. To top it off, we asked to speak with the manager and or server returned to the table saying she«was the manager» because the actual manager was too busy to take the time to talk to our table. I wouldn’t go back to there if I were paid to. Stay home-make a salami sandwich, you will be better off.

We came here a few months ago and had the BEST Prime Rib EVER. Tonight we had just the WORST ever. In 10 years, we have never sent anything back, but the only flavor from this meat was from the very spicy outer crust. If you sawed past that, you hit a 1 inch circumference of dried out, followed by… tough as shoe leather. The replacement wasn’t much better… ugh. The waitress smiled nice enough, but it was clear she was not happy with us, or any of her co-workers who she sniped at for the entire time we were there. Thank goodness Cold Stone was a short walk away… awful experience at any price, let alone 80 bucks.

This is a hidden gem that should be explored. The place itself is comfortable and has great ambience. The live music they have is usually great and the food is delicious! The cocktails and wine list are great, too. Servers and bar staff are super friendly and add to the overall experience. Try their weekend brunch. The hippy Benedict is to die for! Prices are great.

Our family of 5(including 3 hungry teens) wanted somewhere to eat dinner and watch college hoops on a Thursday night. We sat at the bar to see the TVs and received excellent service from the bartender. We all agreed that the food was fresh and nicely prepared. The seasoning was good and the veggies weren’t bland or cooked to death like in some restaurants. My husband had the sliders du jour(prime rib) and I had the pork tenderloin with broccolini. Yum!

Had two terrific meals here. Chef Phillip is innovative and personable. Very much enjoyed the lamb special. Bartenders mixed a great Manhattan.

Although the hype says Durango, CO has great food culture but you will see the reality when you step in to it. Took my crew for drinks on a Friday late afternoon in January 2015. Not enough servers to serve the crowd. Guests were really confused as to where to seat. After 20 minutes a server came to get the drinks order for 8 people in our party. Half of the drinks arrived another 20 minutes later. Everyone had«this is enough» written on their faces. When we stood up to leave, the server came apologizing saying she is new and wasn’t trained enough. At least the next door East by Southwest understood the inconvenience and quickly accommodated our party with a nice table with 2 servers. This is the worst bar/happy hour experience ever! Visitors please avoid this place and go to other places instead.

Definitely a step up from its surrounding restaurants– good vibe, more upbeat and good food. Owner is super personal which always makes it a better experience. Left with smiles on our faces :) Will for sure be back.

Horrible experience! Waited over 40 minutes for food. Steak was cold, Brussels sprouts and fries were hard. My husband ordered the Cioppino. The waitress told us everything on the menu was serve in large portions. The Cipppino had one shrimp, one, scallop, and five tiny mussels in it. And they charged $ 29 for it. It was a smaller serving than our daughters kids menu chicken. We asked the waitress to switch it for another menu item, she said she would charge us $ 14 for that plate and we could order something else. Poor service and not worth the money. We left there irritated and still hungry! No stars for this restaurant!

No pictures on their Unilocal page, no information about there food and to top it off their web site is not mobile phone friendly. Hello, this is the 90’s and people are on foot. I highly recommend that you step up and join us in the 21st century. Its not that hard to be the best in a little town like this. The front desk clerk and the bell man recommendations will not keep your doors open anymore. You need to be found on a smart phone or customers go elsewhere. Guess what, we did!
