I just returned home to Las Vegas, from my stay at Duck Creek Village Inn. My friends have a cabin in Duck Creek, and do an annual trip to Duck Creek, where friends from around the country reunite. This year there were a lot of people going, and we decided to get a room, to just sleep in. They had the best price in town, so we decided to stay there. Honestly, because they include a Breakfast, I was expecting a Motel 6 atmosphere. To my surprise, it was a 5 Star experience! As we pulled up to the Hotel, I was shocked at how nice the exterior was. We were promptly greeted by Wendy, and we were welcomed like family. The room we stayed at was #5, and I’d definitely recommend asking for it. It had a very warm, welcoming, and comfortable feel to it, and it made us feel like home. As far as cleanliness, it is probably the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was fantastic! Better than most big restaurants I’ve visited. The service we got from John and Wendy was fantastic. I couldn’t ask for better hosts! They truly treated us like family. If you need to rest, it’s very quiet, and relaxing. It’s also walking distance from the shops and restaurants. On our way down the mountain, I said to my wife, «It was more like a Bed and Breakfast, than a hotel!» I would definitely recommend Duck Creek Village Inn to anyone who’s visiting Duck Creek.

We rented a cabin here for the wind-down portion of my 30th birthday trip, which started off in Las Vegas with table service and a number of hazy nights. You’ll be far removed from a great deal of what you likely consider civilization and the nearest Walmart or fast food restaurant is over 30 minutes away. It isn’t too far from Zion or Bryce and when planning a last minute trip, many of the local inns near the canyons are usually sold out or ridiculously priced. In our case, all were sold out aside from a 1* place that was $ 299/night. It wasn’t a practical(or particularly appealing) choice when we needed 3 bedrooms for multiple nights. There is a local shop that sells basic snacks and things you might typically need on a trip to the region. Another plus side to staying in such a place is that the minimal light emitted by the village means you’ll be able to see a lot more stars in the sky. It’s breathtaking. I enjoyed my stay so much I started looking into investing in real estate in the area.

We spent last weekend here and I have to say it was one of the nicest mountain getaways ever. The room was clean. Not just clean but spotless. The restaurant was spotless. Breakfast was awesome. We will definitely go back as the owners take a personal approach to their business. Oh and we saw about 40 deer, eagles, wild turkeys, and caught 14 trout… albeit they were small. Very very nice.
