This place is overpriced, We went here everyday to get things needed. First stop was here to pick up flashlights for our trip to Mammoth caves, but they didn’t have any. We went to the hardware store to buy the flashlights but they didn’t carry Double D batteries so back to the General Store. I am giving two stars since this was the only helpful girl the whole time we were there. They didn’t have stocked Double D batteries she took the time to go through boxes and found them. $ 14.00 for 4 batteries. Also, the ice cream shop next door accepts cash only. Back to the General Store $ 9.95 to use their ATM machine. No thanks — sorry 5 year old daughter. Las Vegas casinos don’t charge that much.

Located on HWY14 is this little town. Gorgeously located in the middle of an alpine meadow and featuring a BBQ place, a couple realtors, and this general store. Its a small general store with a Schnauzer named Bailey, a small selection of food and drink items and out back a small mechanics shop. We grabbed some snacks while we waited for the mechanic to replace the bearing on my buddies bike, since it was shredded inside the hub and we couldn’t get a part of the bearing out and get the new bearing seated. Anyway, the mechanic fixed it up pretty quickly and for 20 bucks. Good spot.
