Samurai Sushi

I came to eat here at Samurai and the customer service is great but I am very disappointed in what was told to me when I asked hows it like working their.
1. The girls do not get their tips in order to receive a 25 $ tip they must work 12 – 9 which is obsered they stated that the manager steels their ATM tips and their cash and is left with whatever it is that the owner wants to give them which most of the time they only get 5 – 15 $ it makes me angry because I’ve seen how it gets in the weekends and their money jar is to the top and for the owners to steel tips its so unfortante (legally the only ones to get the tips is if they do table services I know the cheifs take their tips and 2 cooks in the back also take their tips I dont understand why!!!
2. The owner really is Mr. Lee but has the company under Mr. Billy because he’s under a lot of illegal trouble .
3. These girls get paid half check half cash on top of stealing from these girls they also still from the government by paying them under the table. (the girls have told them to pay them the rite way and they said that’s how we run things here if you don’t like it quit)
4. Simon is another cheif whom many customers have complained about because he’s very rude to any one who speaks or makes any sudden sound
5. Have you noticed they do not play music? What restaurant doesn’t play music rite. well what was told is simon forbid them to play any music how stupid is that
6. The treatment these girls get is horrible on top of everything I just said and this company deserves a big law suit !!!
So anyone who wants to leave tip just personally hand it to these waitress and watch how horrible these managers look at these girls if they don’t put it into the jar

WORST FUCKEN PLACE EVER !! I LITTERLY JUST LEFT WITH DISGUST !! I used to love this place until today. I was eating my teriyaki chicken bowl comfortable when I hit the bottom of the plate and see a COCKROACH !! And it was a Baby Which means there’s MORE !! Wtf O.o. And this place has an A I think they need to send the health expert again !! I DO NOT Recommend this place !!! ⁉⁉⁉⁉‼‼‼ Go AT YOUR OWN RISK !!

Things you need to know when eating at this restaurant:
1. Closing times — half an hour before they lock the door sushi bar is closed and you can only order to go ! So SUN-​THURS it is closed at 10pm but they stop taking sushi orders at 930. Friday & Saturday they close at 11 but they stop taking orders at 1030
2. HOW TO DINE IN and DINE OUT :
If you want to dine in don’t place your order with the cashier because that means you want to order to go ! If the place is empty go ahead and sit down anywhere make eye contact with the waitress and they follow you to where you want to sit. If it’s packed they usually have a wait list next to the cashier so don’t be shy because they have to go by the list (although if a waitress saw you come in first they will put you first)
3. Waitress :
From what I’ve seen they have ALOT of new young waitresses that come in and out in just months. So the girls are new staff true but most of them have been pleasant toward everyone.
4. The Establishment :
It’s small so it can get packed fast :(because of the safety hazards that can occur they can’t put the tables however they want because they get a hefty fine for that $$$ best time to come would be like 12 – 230 (most of the time) lol
They got new Menus that are flat and there next to the cashier anyone can grab them and look at them if your waiting or whatever you don’t need to ask. I know before you needed to ask and they would personally lend them to you now you just grab them but they will take you the menus if you went to sit at a table (obviously)

This place is nice the girls ate amazing but the cooks are a little nasty they cook without a hat …

The seating area is tiny so don’t plan on coming here with a large group. Every time I’ve eaten here, the customer service is just okay. Considering the dining area is so small, you would expect the server to notice my drink has been empty for 10 minutes. Unfortunately this is not the case.
I avoid dining in here now and just pick up my food to avoid the frustration. I usually only go here for the BS, II roll (baked scallops on a CA roll with eel sauce and a magical mayo– like topping). Other than that, I’ll go elsewhere for my sushi fix.

Here me out why I give this place a 1 star.
The food is great, hands down but if you leave the tip on your card the server does not get the tip, the owner does. Which is totally WRONG. I feel that is wrong and the employee should be getting their tips 100%, I did ask my server if I leave a cash tip will she get it and she told me they do if you give it to them personally (tips left on the table still go to the owner). The owner is taking a percentage of the cash tips from them. I’m disappointed a business owner does this to his employees. Waitress and waiters make their living on tips.

If you’re looking for a good fast food sushi spot this is the place the dynamite roll is my favorite love it and the jalapeño bombs … the waiters are very nice they try to seat you as soon as they can not a lot of tables but it’s worth the wait

Go to sushi place around my house, their service is a great and the food is delicious. The prices are decent for the food you’re getting.

Samurai sushi was my weekly sushi spot. Unfortunately the lack of service and complete indifference from staff members has made sure I will not be returning. Today, like most mondays, I ordered a salmon super Maki combo the comes with salmon teriyaki, tempura, crunch roll, a salad, and soup. After my order made it back to me all I was sent was a tuna roll a tempura roll and a crunch roll. Which I did not order. When I called back with my menu in hand the girls over the phone were insistent in telling me that I did not know what I ordered and that was not in that combo. When I asked if they would replace my lunch they refused. And those girls could not care less about losing a regular customer. Her only answer was a very condescending «okay :)». I will not be returning to a business that shifts blame to it’s guest.

Fast sushi spot! Sometimes the service can be really bad just depends on the day that you go I guess… Love their side salad and rolls. I think their best ones are baked lobster, Mexico City and the pink lady roll!!! Super yummy!

Cool spot to enjoy some sushi. Prices are reasonable and the qualify of the food is good. I always enjoy the dinning when I go

Used to come here all the time till I found better sushi. The sushi is decent and I still go once in a while. I just don’t like the setting of the restaurant, it’s too small and crowded.

Good prices, good taste, great for take out but DO NOT SIT THERE.
One time I waited at my table for 40 minutes I was waiting for my order then a new waiter approaches me and says my order got lost because the old waiter left home and they could find it? Uhhhhhhh? Then they had the audacity to ask me if I needed to be some where uhm who cares I want my food? WHY DIDNT THEY ASK FOR MY ORDER AGAIN INSTEAD OF MAKING Me SIT THERE LIKE A DUMB ASS
Then the next time I went and I asked for the check, they never came back for it so I went to the cashier and the girl that I asked the check for pretty much threw it at me, so I threw it back at her. This place is soooo good but their waitresses SUCK!!!

I loved coming here it’s good food for a great price. However the service has been going under for a while. They can’t seem to keep any of their worthwhile servers. The sushi is fresh. A bit too much rice to fish ratio but it’s not a bad thing. My fiancé loves the teriyaki chicken bowl. He says it tastes well seasoned, he even enjoys their steamed vegetables. My favorite roll is the jessica roll. I recommend everyone to try it.

This used to be my go-​to sushi spot but it just isn’t the same anymore, the fish isn’t as fresh and they don’t really add anything new to their menu. Will be looking for a new sushi place to replace this one.

Been coming here for years now. Food has always been good as well as service. From what I’ve tried off the menu my favorite have been Mexico City rolls and the popcorn lobster rolls.

I used to really like this place but the service has gone down the tubes. I visited this location today and man was I dissappointed. Not only was there a mess/​confusion with a few other people waiting to be seated but the whole place was empty and almost all of the tables were empty. I used to love this place and the food was really good but sadly this is the end. I won’t be coming here again.

The food is above average given the menus price range. I feel that the young servers could use more practice waiting on tables. The dining room is small and fills up fast. Very easy for a server that isn’t experienced to get overwhelmed. I speak from experience as my family operated restaurants for many years. I was finding alone so I’m pretty low maintenance but a check up for a water refill would’ve been nice.

I only liked the seaweed salad and the eel sushi. The rolls and fish didn’t taste fresh. I’ve been to many sushi spots and I was very disappointed. The tuna on my firecracker roll had an old fishy flavor, and it was warm with amplified the distasteful flavor, and my albacore sushi tastes like it’s been sitting out for hours in warm weather.
If you’re a picky sushi eater, don’t go here.
Kyoto is across the street, and SO much better.

Adoro este sitio. Es barato, rápido y riquísima la comida! Tienen un menú por unos 9 dólares que trae pollo teriyaki, arroz, sushi, verdura en tempura y sopa. Y cuando lo ordenas para llevar te lo preparan muy bien! Son muy profesionales. Enhorabuena, seguiré yendo.
