Dr. Colay White was great, thorough, and took time to explain things.

It nice to see that their prices haven’t changed since the last time I was there. (Actually I paid less this time)

Unfortunately I chose to go with Visionworks instead of my usual provider. They always seem to be busy so I expected the level of service would be good. I was wrong.
The exam portion went well. The doctor was nice and seemed to understand my needs.
Selecting frames went well, but after that it started to go downhill. The person helping me didn’t explain the lenses I was getting so I wasn’t sure of the cost. I am used to paying a lot but was a bit surprised at the $ 800 price tag. I let it go because I really liked the frames and insurance covered all but $ 350.
I was promised a date of 19Jan. I called on 15Jan to check status and was told they were ready and I could come in any time. I was excited!!!
Then I got to the store and was told there was a mistake. The manager advised the glades weren’t ready. In fact, my lenses hadnt even shipped. I asked if they would make my promise date of 19jan. Jim said yes. That was wrong.
I was told today my glasses won’t be ready until the 23^rd or later. They can’t be sure. I had to call and get my insurance company involved to get any information on the hold up. Apparently they didn’t communicate my prescription properly or the lab off-​site misunderstood or maybe the lenses they chose for me weren’t right for my prescription. Either way, new lenses are en route to the store. I can have a 10% discount which does not make up for the fact they missed the promised date.
I am able to cancel but it will take 3 days for my insurance to reset my benefit and then I have to do this all over again somewhere else. So I’m pretty much stuck.
I’m certain my glasses won’t be the correct prescription but I will provide an update if and when I receive this pair of glasses.
