The location in front of the lake is unique, great food and service. I had the Jibarrito and the Churrasco to die for!!! I am planing an event there next month for 60 people, I am sure it will be fantastic!

Great food and great service. They have a new owner and by the improvement of the food, they obviously have a new chef. A complete improvement from the previous owners. I will definitely be back.

Been here through ups and downs. It’s back on its way up! Better prices, mgmt, service. Churassco– delicious. HH 4 – 8. $ 3 beers.

Great food and service. On the lake in Costa del sol Golf Course. Always has something going on. I would suggest the bbq wings and Churassco.

I was recommended this place to conduct a last minute celebration. With just four hours notice they coached me through the menu to satisfy a party of 25. They made sure I didn’t over order and they brought the food out in stages, making sure the food kept coming as people finished the various plates (instead of leaving all the food out all at once and allow to get cold). Sure, sort of expected, but the service and the food was excellent, plus the ambiance of the place an they play music of your choice.

Charlie’s is a hidden gem in Doral. Don’t afraid to go through the the guard gate they have the best burger you have ever eaten.

After working in Doral for many years, I can say there are no other places like Charlie’s. It was long needed in Doral. A place not in a strip mall where you can take a break and enjoy a beautiful view of the water. And the food is terrific at a reasonable price, with tasty seafood or meat options.
It’s just a great spot for a nice quiet business lunch, or inviting a friend to catch up in a relaxing environment that feels more like what Miami should feel like.
As Micah commented on this dish as well, they should bring back the spinach salad with gorgonzola cheese, bacon, and a salmon filet topped with a poached pear.

Walked in there were about 3 tables and one of them was full older americans bitching at the waitress for lack of service and food that should have given me a heads up but decided to continue and sit down only to learn that i should have left right there and then. So we ordered the onion soup, quite tasty, but since the rest of the order was 45 minutes in the manager brought some guacamole with pork rhinds (found that weird). My hubby ordered the quesdillas and i ordered the burger, well the quesadillas had little flavor and the burger had not been cooked through still raw ground beef… luckily the waiter took it off the bill. Overall since we had a deatificate and the waiter took off the burger from menu we just paid the tip. I definitely wont be coming back but felt bad for the chef and manager as they were nice enough to come to our table to apologize for the inconsistent cook in the kitchen.

Just had dinner at Charlies after a round of golf at Costa Del Sol. Charlies Bistro has a great menu with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I had the spinach salad with gorgonzola cheese, bacon, and a salmon filet topped with a poached pear. Delicious. I will be recommending to my friends.

Wonderful new gem in Doral. Great bar with a wonderful view of the lake. This place was recently remodeled and it looks fantastic. It used to be Karnitas. Delicious food and awesome drinks. They have a full menu, and a bar menu. Their truffled popcorn is the bomb. Totally needed this in Doral.

After an extended remodeling of a small Churassco that used to be in our community, the restaurant for the Costa del Sol Golf Club has now opened as Charlie’s Bistro. The outdoor patio has been greatly expanded to take advantage of the nice «lakeside» view. Really nice for Doral. The menu is limited right now after its soft opening, but will be expanded soon. Nice beers on tap and the dinner plates are looking really good. The sliders and fries were excellent. I look forward to this place filling up for friendly Happy Hours!
