I had never been there before and my sister wanted to go for her bachelorette party. Saved 2 tables up on the rooftop for 30 people. Their was not even enough room for 11 girls to sit. When I talked to mike about reserving tables he said we had to get at least one bottle serves per table. He gave me the prices with $ 120 the cheapest. When we got there they said we had to get a total of 4 bottles and the cheapest was $ 180. When I went to talk to him about all of this he was rude and kept telling us to just leave. I ended up talking To one of the managers. We only bought 2 bottles of liquor and she gave up a round of shots. Still did not make up for the hassle of it all. Would never go back there again!!!

The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because the Serving staff has always been friendly and the place has a dance floor. The reason this bar is one of the worst places to spend a night is due to the security. The bouncers at this bar are on a power trip and have(on multiple occasions) manhandled people for no apparent reason. On 05/06/2016, after being in the bar for 15 minutes, I was grabbed by the neck and shoved down the stairs for no reason by one of the bouncers. I was not allowed to go back to close my tab(they had my ID and credit card). I can admit when I have had to much to drink, but that was not the case on this night. Apparently, I am not the only one this has happened to(Control+F and search for«bouncer» on this page). I have heard from friends that this bouncer is a cop, which explains why he thinks he can get away with this. I won’t ever be returning to this place, and will never recommend it to any of my friends. I highly suggest you stay away.

I’ve come to Level Two on a few occasions, I was neither impressed nor turned off. It’s important to note that I’ve never come at «club» hours. So, I’ve only gone for drinks and quick bites. The staff was friendly, but a bit preoccupied, despite a pretty empty restaurant. The location is what brought me here on each occasion, it’s right in the heart of Greektown. They have a patio that’s pretty cool and is surrounded by a higher patio of a different venue. I had the chicken quesadillas and they were good. They weren’t spectacular, but I don’t think I even eat quesadillas in a bar to be wowed anyway. If you’re in Greektown, this might be a good place to stop for a drink. If you’re looking at having food, I’d suggest digging a bit deeper into the Greektown scene.

I would give this place no stars if I could there was a group here the evening of opening day they were all drinking but just standing around talking minding their own business when the bouncer came over and grabbed one of the guys by his neck and said you’re out of here when he asked why a second bouncer proceeded to assist the first bouncer and they both choked him and dragged him backwards down the entire staircase for no reason. All they had to do was politely ask him to leave but he was doing nothing wrong this is crazy, these bouncers here are on a power trip and very dangerous watch your back. We will never go to this place again all the employees are toxic and miserable

Went in on a Friday night. Had to pay cover for guys(10 $) which was kind of surprising for a place like this. The atmosphere was fun and the bartenders were nice. My problem with this place was how rude the support staff was. I was minding my own business in the corner talking to my friend when an unmarked employee pushes me and I ask him what’s up. He continues to push me and I ask him what are you doing? He then says I am too drunk and kicks me out immediately. I assume he was making room for people and pushing me out of the way but as a patron at your bar I would expect you to be civil and simply ask me to move rather than push me first. I was kicked out and was freezing outside since my jacket was inside. The bouncer and the police officers outside would not help. Instead the bouncer hands off two girls to the police officer outside and he shamelessly flirts with them with a huge grin on his face. Detroit hospitality and Detroit police. Safe to say I will not be coming back to this bar.

This is a great place with an amazing vibe and cool people. But every weekend features the worse DJ in Detroit.

My main staple for pre Lions games. Never too packed, great beer selection, and nice décor, including a second level deck where when warm, they have baggo and a bar for service. Staff is always friendly and quick to have a conversation about Detroit sports. Right in the heart of Greektown overlooking the street with an open window atmosphere and a multitude of tvs for all games. Prices are more than fair and they have a nice revolving tap and bottle selection. Highly recommend the burger. It was perfect, like you see in tv commercials. Always seems to be room to belly up at the bar and Pegesus is right below it but there’s no odor of Greek food to be found. Also nice they don’t have a bathroom attendant! Place is always clean and I will always come here when in Greektown!

It’s ok, not what one would expect in major metro. Service was on the rude side. Empty bar on a Wednesday which I wouldn’t expect great turnout but more than 6 people.

We stopped here for a night cap, after date night. The place is on the second floor over looking Greektown, It has a very cool vibe and can’t wait to check it out on a weekend especially during the summer as the windows slide open and has a open air feel. The server we had was great, that layout and atmosphere were great seems like it could be a go to place for some late night drinks and night life.

This place reminds me of the bars when I was a rookie binge drinker in my college days. Everything I come here, I get beyond irritated. The front of the place is fine, but the back rooftop area is where people go to act like they’ve never had a drink in their life.

Booked 2 bottles for bottle service for a party and when we got there they wanted to charge the party double for cover to get in. I was spending $ 650 for the bottles and then they wanted to nickel and dime me for cover? Not a very solid business practice.

Nice location in the heart of Greektown. Be sure to score a table that over looks the street so you can do some people watching. Decent drink menu, average prices. I had one of their mixed drinks called the«Jenna Jameson», which was fruity and delicious. Definitely a good place to do some summertime day drinking.

Hidden treasure. The décor and design of this place is what is missing from Detroit’s night life. I’d love to rent this place out for a birthday party or gathering among my 50 – 100 closest friends. ha ha As a typical hangout, this place doesn’t make the cut for me. Diversity in crowd is lacking, that could be a PR thing and possibly intentional, either way, listening to EDM and In the Club by 50 Cent several times is not my idea of a great night out. I went with friends and fabulous people so that made my experience memorable. Again the décor, open ceiling to the sky, industrial bars as window guards and the use of the buildings length to make you forget you’re in a small space kept me entertained more than the DJ. The fans in the ceiling, YES! It’s a great tactic to keep people on the dance floors. They are in the corners of the open ceiling. Keep fans above the dance floor. They need actual glasses not plastic cups, which is wasteful. They need a separate smoking section because although the building is open, the drafts from the smoke is noxious to non smokers. They need better DJ’s and PR to bring a crowd that invites more than a mono class, mono cultured mood. This place has potential.

Ordered the hummus and zesty feta small dish today. The dish would be 100% better if the pitas were not fried/baked… Which they didn’t warn you about in the menu. The place is not vegetarian friendly at all. The cocktails have very immature names(which isn’t a huge deal, but I’d respect the place much more if their drinks weren’t names after hookers and porn stars). The outdoor space had so much potential to be really cool, but was actually quite the opposite upon closer look. It was okay there, but would not recommend or go there again.

Drinks are pricy but it’s one of the cooler spots for a weekend downtown. The open-air back area is sweet. No dance floor though.

Ahhh, the tackiness of Shelby Township meets downtown Detroit. This place has a great rooftop — perfect for summer. It’s also not Skybar Lounge or V Nightclub, so it gets another star for not being Skybar Lounge or V Nightclub — two of the worst places located outside of Royal Oak. Aside from that, it’s a pretty standard SE Michigan nightclub. The DJs play insufferable top-40 crap and mix it up with some dated EDM hits. Nobody really dances, they all just kind of stand around in their True Religion Jeans(worn without a hint of irony) and shout at one another, usually about some woman’s ass or put each other in headlocks and snap selfies, as some song from Calvin Harris circa 2010 blares in the background. If you have a date for the evening(girlfriend, prostitute, a girlfriend who is also a prostitute), and like to dance with your date, this is not the best place to go in the area. I also witnessed some kid puke all over his white pants. Thank you, space god, for making that happen. But if you’re a fan of running into high school acquaintances, the ones who’re well into their 30s, still shop at Express and wear Detroit Tigers hats even when they are not at a baseball game, then this place might be up your alley. Their happy hour isn’t much better. It’s pricey and lacks variety. The menu consists of a few salads and a bunch of fried, mass-produced«meh» items that are best washed down with an equally terrible beer or overpriced mixer.

I went to level two for my friends birthday. Girls were let in free of cover and guys pay. No coat check… which leads us to setting our coats on a chair. My coat of course was stolen(bad assumptions on my part that my $ 800 coat wouldn’t get stolen). I called to have the owner check the video footage and that’s where the 1 star is coming from. I understand there are limited things an owner can do when a patron reports a missing jacket(my cell phone, car keys and wallet were in my coat pocket as well). He told me he would check the footage and expressed a general lack of concern. He told me that he would call me the next day and that NEVER happened. I continued to call the bar multiple times in regards to any information that could be obtained about the thief. While I was there looking for my coat the trashiest people got in my face and tried to fight me. I’m not like that and was definitely not looking to fight once my jacket got stolen. The bouncer got in my face and was extremely rude. He should’ve kicked the group out that was threatening me. Needless to say I will never be returning and I would definitely not recommend this bar to a friend.

$ 20 cover to see DJ MacBook? Are you kidding? The place looked decent… you can tell it’s newer. Draft beer selection was pretty weak. The floor was sticky from being covered in spilled drinks that waited way too long to be poorly mopped up. There was a dance floor, but outside of one couple grinding pretty hardcore, I didn’t see anyone dance… and I stayed there till almost 1. The music was pretty weak. Weird, unimpressive pre remixed songs from 5 – 10 years ago… In most instances I would have rather just heard the original song. I was there for a friend’s birthday. I had to work so I didn’t get there till 11. There was a long line of mostly dudes… until they found out about the cover… then suddenly I was next in line. I made the mistake of pulling out my ID… should a just walked right in. My friend reserved a table, which meant she got a bottle. Which usually means you’ll get a server… but I never saw one. Had to go to the crowded bar. At least $ 4 Miller Lite wasn’t a huge rip off. Oh… and for some reason, every time we got a glass of water, it had the faint flavor of cinnamon… like Fireball or something. It was creeping us out. Little chance I would ever go back.

Great bar and location! Music and people are a great mix. Drinks are reasonable. Giving it 3 stars for the reservation process! Was told bottle service is not required but the waitress made it well known she would not be back to us since we did not want bottle service. I had reserved in the past with no issues yet this last time it put a damper on the night to keep going downstairs to start a tab and order drinks. If it is required to have bottle service on the upper level then make sure it states that with making reservation.
